Moved to a house with Dollar blinds throughout. Needed to contact their head office for assistance, they replied but we're extremely unhelpful and unable to offer any solutions/suggestions whatsoever in getting any parts. Basically for fobbed off and received no further replies to any of my emails with a question and then to follow up asking why no one was getting back to me.

Will be replacing all the blinds in my house next year but will happily have anyone other than this company quoting and installing as I get the impression it would be a scenario where they're happy get a sale but beyond that they seem useless. Just not a good experience.

For years we lived with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows in our meals area that faced the side of our house, overlooking an ugly fence and garden. We installed some gorgeous sheer curtains in a “Morrison cloud” colour which is like a grey with a touch of blue. On a silver pearl track. It has TRANSFORMED the look and feel of our family room. I walk in and it feels like a luxe hotel! It’s amazing! Why didn’t we do this years ago? It’s gorgeous. And Dollar Curtains and Blinds team were friendly, fast and professional. We love them & would recommend DC&B.

We were very happy with the customer service we received from the Ararat store, exceptional staff who know there job & they were very obliging to anything we wanted.

Just had new tracks for existing curtains in 4 bedrooms installed plus new roller blinds and a roman blind installed as well. Also a repair to a family room curtain. My mum had a new roller installed behind an existing curtain plus repairs to the bracket on tracks. Rachel from Pakenham Dollar curtain was lovely and the installer Ian and his helper were very helpful and did a great job. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

We had Roman Blinds and the cords broke due to extreme heat in the afternoon, we were advised Curtains would open up the room and would help with the heat.

We’re beyond happy with our outdoor blinds from the Chirnside Park store. Helpful service in store, installer was lovely and setup the remote and showed us through I how to use it. We ordered a new product called zip screen which the consultant showed us in store and it’s wide width could fit across the expanse of our deck. We love the white hardware colour to match our exterior paint. We’ve used them before for our window awnings and interior blinds, and have been very pleased each time. Thanks again team!

STAY AWAY! Niddrie Store
- Chased them initially for a quote to be emailed
- waited over 9 weeks for two roller blinds
- Now in hindsight, very overpriced
- Installer did not arrive even though I called in the morning to double check timing.
- Picked them up myself and had them installed by my own installer.
- Terrible customer service!!!

If I could give a lesser star rating (zero) I would give it! My installation, which took three goes to get it right, was nothing less than a saga (four months in total). Then to make it even worse, they damaged my concrete - which they deny accountability and blame it on ‘foundational movements/expansion’. I do not find it a coincidence that on the exact same day when an extremely loud bang was heard, in the exact same area where the young man was working that a surface crack appeared ... where there was no damage on the morning prior to their...

Worst experience of my life. Ordered $500+ dollars worth of blinds in December 2020 - told will be installed in February 2021. Hear nothing for 4 months. I CALL in May to check up on order and hopefully cancel as by this stage no longer need them (moving house) - they cant find me, or my order, them make me send copies of receipts and invoices to prove I have ordered and paid for the product. I’ll start by saying our previous contacts with DCB Chirnside Park had gone ok, if not great, but this occasion which was to fit new blinds and curtains throughout most of the house was a catalogue of mistakes, omissions and poor service. They seemed to do their utmost to make us feel irrelevant and a nuisance.

Deleting our current details after we needed to change the appointment date. They managed to keep the old details. We then had to send photos to the shop so they could have the swatches brought out with the person coming to measure up...

We were so thrilled with the service from start to finish. From the expert design and advice when picking what would suit our home, right through to the ordering and instal process. Everyone was so delightful to deal with, and even though Melbourne Lockdown and delays, we were kept up to date and it was well and truly worth the wait once they were installed. Not to mention how much we fell in love with how much it updated and made our home that more homely!!

Professional service, great design advice and quality blinds are the the tip of the iceberg. Australian made is a bonus especially in this climate too. Would highly recommend.

So happy with DCB Wodonga. They let me pay my awnings off over 12 months at a rate I could afford and there was no pressure. Rosemary and the team are awesome. So helpful, friendly and service was stellar. So happy with my order and the service provision I received ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had 3 awnings and 2 external blinds installed pre Christmas from Wonthaggi shop. No problems with the awnings. One of the blinds was installed correctly however no handles. The second was installed off the side track. 2 visits to shop and 5 calls and the job is still not complete. Owner is to get back to me (still waiting).
Intending to get it fixed by local installer with cost offset against purchase.
Get other quotes if you intend going with them.

Experience in the Wonthaggi store was excellent. Very helpful, great communication, lots of options and within our budget for a whole house. Felt much more comfortable having a professional measure up in house which enabled a discussion about options rather than DIY with the online companies. We chose battery operated roller blinds which I love and thermal blinds in the bedrooms. Great quality, the look and design is modern and suits our new home and the reassurance that if I have any difficulties the store is close by to seek assistance.
The only thing I would have liked is better instructions for the battery operated as I was not home when they were installed.

I was told when I contacted the store at 1 11pm today Saturday 19th December they would be at my home within the hour. 2.47 pm I received a call cancelling and offering another time, Christmas eve. Not happy as I have wasted my afternoon. Won't bother rescheduling with this company again. Offered no reason.

Plantation shutters are exactly what we wanted, practical and stylish. Measure and installation staff were professional and easy to deal with. Other products ordered were as expected and staff were friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend Dollar Curtains and Blinds.

Went to get a price for a replacement curtain, they have the exact same material and hooks ( I took the old curtain in to make sure ) will only make it by including the track at an additional $250 to the curtain.
