Paul came out to us for the measure and quote. He was full of information and suggestions.
Ben came out to install the 2 shutters. He was very quick and did a great job. He also help with some questions about another window.
We did have to wait awhile for them to come, due to covid 19. We received email during this time with update, which was very much appreciated.

I found FD fabulous to deal with from beginning to end. Prompt, honest and top notch product.
My only criticism would be that I did not find you in a google search. My neighbour told me about you. I had 3 other quotes and got yours as an after thought as your company name does not lend itself to what you actually supply. Factory direct is far too broad a name.
But once I did get on board with you...100%!

Our landing blinds were installed last week. We were caught up in the virus delays so were surprised they arrived when they did. Our installer was efficient, friendly and very tidy. They look fabulous and have blocked out the burning westerly sun. Our experience with Factory Direct Shutters has been exemplary and I have no hesitation recommending them.

Fantastic, great product and price. The waiting time was good considering the Covid-19 situation. As the product was coming from China it was expected to take much longer than it did. Installed quickly and professionally.

- Poor quality and service. Job completion was 1.5 years after it commenced.
- Poor installation of blinds. Falling apart.
- extremely bad customer service. Had to constantly call to have them return to fix our installation. Their response was to post us screws and tell us to fix it ourselves.
- left our shade on ground depreciating with sun for weeks before installation.
- completed new build and the installation of our blinds were the most stressful part.
- avoid using this company at all costs. Please see google reviews. A lot of similar stories.

Our new extendable awning will shade our deck and keep the surface cooler allowing increased use during the hot summer days. I found the response to the Facebook info request professional and timely and in all other stages. The installation was professionally done and very happy with the fixing of the awning.

We had our shutters installed yesterday, & it had made an immediate difference for the better. The shutters look awesome, & was a fraction of the cost that other companies were asking. Now looking at what other windows we need to have shutters installed. Definitely would recommend Factory Direct.

Our shutters were installed in the downstairs area of our home yesterday and we cannot believe the transformation and difference they have made. This was made possible by the staff we dealt with from the quoting stage to order confirmation and continual updates with shipping delays (COVID19) and to installation. Amazing service and a great end product.
We will definitely be using FDS again when ready to do the upstairs area of our home.

From the day we rang Factory Direct Shutters we were treated to prompt friendly service.
They sent an email to confirm the reps name who came when stated and we were very happy with his Quote for 4 rooms. Unfortunately our delivery date was delayed due to the Coronavirus but they kept us updated along the way, then when they had arrived the fitter sent us a text with time & date. Prompt professional service all the way.
