Ok. There is nothing on the net to review this product. But i liked it and the fact it sells its self as commercial grade sold me. unpacked it and was very impressed...it is suppose to be portable which it would be but its a two person job to carry the main unit..on my first cook i wasnt to happy ..i used only plastic and silicon utensils on the hot plate and ended up with gouges on the surface...i did all the prep..washed with soapy water...heat it up oil it...yadda yadda yadda...i use to sell camping equipment so i new a few things..touch woo

Read mored..on the second cook the surface scratched away more and more paint came off...everything cooked awesome but i was not sure about the cook top as i hadnt experienced this before...i went to my retailer i bought it from and even they thought it was a fault and replaced my cook top, well after more research i found the paint is only a protective coating against rust in transport...does the bbq work well? omg..my old bbq was a grill type and was great for years but being a grill type it would smoke and burn stuff. I went away on a fishing trip and all we had to cook on was a bbq with a solid plate. After that i was sold on the idea...the dover sucked me in because it has an awesome thick steel plate and once its hot it does the best job I've seen a bbq do...and yes i didnt get this fat from not eating and I've done a few bunnings bbq cook ups so i know what I'm talking about...if you can get your head around the cooking plate losing a bit of black stuff...you have one hell of an awesome bbq..one tip i have is if you are cooking marinated meat..go to bunnings and spend 7 bucks on one of their not stick plastic sheets...you will get about 150 cooks out of it and the bbq stays clean...pros..it cooks unreal...I've done potatoes...crumbed chops...plain chops...venison...steak..marinated steak...the lot...and it cooks fantastic...i love the folding solid top...heaps of bench space when folded out...i hope this helps those who couldn't find any reviews...regards drew and i have a very picky missus and i cooked pork ribs tonight and yes i got the stamp of approval...Questions & Answers
