I have purchased these many times before and been really pleased with them, but last few times have started one off and wouldn't come out so pressed again and 3 parts came out as one tried on another toilet and used all left in tube. Gave it benefit of doubt and bought another but same thing happened!!! Expensive product and won't be buying again. I'll buy Mr Muscle strips next time

I recently purchased the Duck Fresh Discs, as we use them regularly. In the past we have been pleased with the product, but this time when I pushed out the gel, it was stuck and then all but two slots came out (which is most of the product). After this we tried to use it on another toilet, and it got stuck again and the rest of the product came out. So we were only able to use the discs twice before it was finished. Very disappointed as it is a fairly expensive product and therefore we think a faulty one. We will probably not buy it again and will switch to another brand.

I bought this product thinking it will make the toilet fresh and clean however I can't use normal cleaner and brush everyday as the disc gets gooey and sticks to the brush. Also not a good idea with young children as curiousity will get the better of them and I am sure touching one of the discs and putting it in or around their mouth as little ones do would be a concern. I wont be buying this product again and I'll stick to the cleaner and brush..

September 5th 2017 Update: Waste of money

Useless discs that stick to the side of toilet but they come unstuck easily and prevent from cleaning the toilet. Also would be a concern with young curious kids. Give them a miss and save your money

Simple product does great job keeps the toilet clean effortlessly. Note: Do not buy the aldi brand its cheap and nasty flimsy plastic really have to force the discs out thus hurting your hand/hands also turning them red.

On the 5th June 2016 I bought refills- today Monday 6th June I tried to use the new refill. It had a huge air bubble in discs I have and first two discs where therefore empty. Only 4 discs.

Major issue for me was thesmell!!
I can smell it from everywhere in the house. As weird as it sounds I can sometimes taste it when I'm near the bathroom

Not sure about the bleach ones bleaching ability, but the fresh discs I have no problem getting them to stay on for at least 2 weeks. We have only just in the last few months replaced toilet with the new shaped bowl ( if you have been to Bali you will know what I mean) there is a round hole in the middle of toilet with the surround coming out from side . Sorry best I can do with description. Maybe this shape is kinder to the disc and doesn't wash it off as easily as some people find

Toilet duck cistern is the worst and very disappointed in the false advertising as it says on the cover you can flush up to 4 weeks however it has lasts 5 days tops an. False advertising should be illegal.

Great idea but the product does not perform to advertised use, I wouldnt waste the money again. Duck Products in general are a bit of a let down but this one is worse since it seems like such a great concept.

They do leave a lasting fresh smell, which is ok. However, there is no indication that it keeps the bowl any cleaner than without it. Also, the temperature needs to only reach above 20 degrees for the gel to melt and disappear. Don't waste your money.

This is the worst. It is too sticky and it does not come off as a circle I had to use my finger. PLUS it is harmful to the environment. Why did I buy this?

Loved it the very first time i used it. Even my 13 yr old can stick it to the toilet bowl without any issue. It does not slide nor fall at the 1st instance you flush. It stays there and keeps your toilet smelling fresh and clean. Tried every other caged and cageless product but none of it lives up to its promises. Sickening fragrance to no fragrance and simply dissolves quicker than it should thus waste of money and plus icky to handle when removing or replacing the refills. It seems Duck has done a good job with this product as i have not seen any other competitors coming out with similar designs.

In the beginning I was happy with them but over the last 2 weeks I've bought them they have been a joke for some reason when you push the cylinder they all come out in 1 go this has happened with the last 3 I've bought which as cost me £14.97 so obviously they are a dodgy batch which as got through ur quality control so if you got any respect for me as a customer I suggest you give me a refund or some kind of voucher to buy replacement ones

These things are hopeless I had so much trouble getting mine to stick that I ended up having to use my finger to stick it to the toilet bowle yuck! But it's stuck now and the smell isn't to bad

A waste of money. Their smell is overpowering, they do nothing to keep the bowl clean, in fact they seem to promote mould growth. They either don't stick and disappear with the first flush, or they stay put for weeks doing nothing. As others have said they're just a useless gimmick.

I bought these gel discs because I thought they would be a no mess and easy to replacement to the traditional ones which hang on the side of the bowls. Big mistake! these things are a gimmick, they do not work. What's more important is the smell of these things are really strong, you can smell it from the living room! (made us feel sick just by the smell). Definitely would not recommend, just stick with the traditional ones.

I think toilet duck discs are a great idea, however during a period of hot weather they melt and slide off. Feels like I am literally flushing money down the toilet.

I bought the blue package, I think it's the marine fragrance.. absolutely cannot stand the scent as it smells exactly like men's cheap deodorant which is so powerful I have to open my bathroom window! The fact that the product doesn't actually stick to the bowl for long is a huge let down and waste of money too, I will not be purchasing this product again.

It comes out all messy and not in one round piece like on the box. It doesn't stick to the bowl - have to help it with fingers. Looks like a spot of dirt on the bowl wall. Smell is too strong - can't wash it off my hands now! Worst experience ever! Big regret that I waisted money for it!!!
