Dont last the distance
Great at handling the road in the wet or dry weather but really they are a Terrible tyre only because they don't last long enough, I have only done less than 30,000 and almost no tread left I will never buy Dunlop again and I drive to speed limits responsibly, very disappointed total waste of money in my opinion.

Dangerous in wet, poor at best in dry conditions.
Long milage tyres with very low performance in all conditions. I ended up leaving the bitumen on a sharp downhill corner on the first wet day the tyres saw and ended up in a ditch. I've been driving for 30yrs and was accused of not driving to the conditions. I stress that you purchase these at your own risk. They give little to no warning of their limitations in wet conditions. Not worth the money or name (sport).

Dunlops drops us.
Have purchased Dunlop tyres for our falcons for many years, being standard equipment when it came time to put new rubber on, we went the same tyre again, our first set got 51000km out of them, the new set we got 7000km out of the rears only. Fronts are like new.
Went back to Jax Tyres moss st and they inspected the rears, they agreed this was very unusual, they arranged for the Dunlop rep to inspect, he took one look and stated " The car has been thrashed "
Now Mr Dunlop rep if you had looked at the computer range on the car, you would s...
Read moreee the range around town is 620km now the computer calculates how the vehicle is operated and gives you the range, drive hard and it's low, drive slow and it's high, this range shows the car is driven very casually. Now you would not talk to me. A 52 year old professional driver whom drives 200000k's plus a year in a bdouble truck. I get three times the mileage out of tyres on a truck they weights 62 Tonnes!!!!! My car an 2011 FG XR6 Sedan gets driven maybe 200k's a month and your telling me it's how I drive.- 2 reviews
Good Family car tyre.
These were fitted to my BA falcon when I purchased it. Didn't have any problems with them wet or dry conditions, only replaced them because of damage to one tyre from a bolt that had dropped out of someone's trailer coupling. They were about 30% worn when I purchased vehicle, I did 25K on them and they still had at least another 10K of life. Would have gone the same as replacements but GT 228's were a lot cheaper.
Good all round tyre.

Terrible
These are a long-life tyre but in this case that's not a good thing. The longer you have poor performing tyres on your vehicle the greater the chance that you'll encounter a situation where better tyres would have prevented or mitigated an accident. Probably the most useful thing I could say here however is that when it comes to tyres you just can't trust the reviews you read on a site like this. The vast majority of drivers on the roads don't know the first thing about tyres. Best to look around for some independent tyre reviews performed by industry professionals.
Poor performance in the wet, average at best in the dry
Interesting comment. Should we ignore it since it is placed here? Not at all !!! One do not need to be a professional to be satisfied or disappointed with a set of tyres. The average reader just needs...
Read more to be aware and imagine where such opinions may come from, or ask some further questions. For example, I had a set of this tyres on Mazda 323 (front drive). It lasted me not bad, since for around 60k km. It was quite comfortable and quiet to drive on a smooth, dry surface. More noisy, but still better than my previous factory fitted Michelin on a stony bitumen. (Mazda 323 has a quite hard suspension compared to Falcon or Commodore, so any tyre noise doubles or triples.) Yet it was a real nightmare on a wet surface, so I cannot imagine how someone can give it excellent review. Maybe he never tried to unexpectedly break on a wet surface or start uphill on wet stone or paint. There were situations with the latest circumstances where I thought I will start to go backwards instead ahead. Not to mention driving on a wet, hilly and winding road. Anyway, I was really glad when their wear was close to requiring replacement. What is more, I told my opinion about this tyre to any salesmen trying to offer me that or similar replacement product and no one ever look surprised. Would they know that? regards- 3 reviews

Perfect to throw away
Good and pleasant to drive especially when new and on a dry surface. Very dangerous to drive on wet.
The name Sport must have come from manufacturers awareness that the tyre in such conditions require rally skills to control your car. :-) Otherwise, you might be a danger to yourself and public, especially on a smooth, wet surface.
(See also my comment to next review.)
Nice and quiet on freeway/highway ride
Terrible (no grip) on smooth, wet surface

Bad
These tyres are on a Toyota Corolla they have done 22500kms and toyota service centre tell me two need replacing, not good value, vehicle has not been driven on rough roads or abused. I have had far better wear from other brands.
They came with the car, I didn't have any choice, only good thing is they handle well.
In comparison with other vehicles I've had fitted with other brands of tyres, these tyres do not have a good life, I have used cheap tyres on vans that have lasted longer.

Excellent
Original fitting on a Toyota Corolla. This car has been driven sensibly for 100,000 km and the tyres rotated regularly. Two of the five tyres are the originals.
These tyres just don't wear out. Good road holding.
Not much, sidewalls starting to break up with age 100,000 km.
Excellent
175/70/R14 OEM fitted in my corolla 2002, done 88500km when I changed the set of 4. When I shop around for new tyres people talking to me to change to the cheaper 185/65/R14 from Bridgestone or Goodyear. But I still have one spare of Dunlop tyre so I decided to stick with it. The new tyres I got was sp sport 200/made in japan (not sure what difference between 200 and 200E). I notice that the new tyres run significantly quiet compare to the old one, perhaps because there is more rubber in the thread. Overall I am quite happy with it.
Long life
Noisy at end of life. (I didn't rotate them for 6 years)
