My dyson v6 animal stop working when I pull the trigger red light flashing followed by green light flashing and then blue light flashing. Any ideas?

Bought new battery for my v6 animal put the Hoover into charger blue light stayed on for a few seconds then went off blue

how to replace battery in V6 Stick vacuum cleaner
The battery pack can be removed from the machine by undoing the 2 phillips screws which hold it in place - one on the rear of the handle, and one on the underside of the machine. The new battery pack can then be fitted in the same way

How do I remove the charger plug from the docking station to change the charger
To remove the charger from the docking station, please:
1) Unplug the charger from the wall
2) Firmly press the metal charging pin in the charger towards the wall, this will release the charging jack
3) Unscrew the charger from the wall
4) Unthread the charger from the back of the dock

My dyson v6 slim appears to charge as blue light on but when I go to use it works for 5 seconds and stops blue light flashes 10 times.

The blue light flashing 10 times means it needs to be charged, but if it is still doing it after it's been charged then I would suspect that the battery is dead and needs to be replaced. I believe you can get the battery replaced directly from Dyson for a reasonable price but you'll need to contact them.

While using for only a couple of minutes, light flashes blue then yellow. Fully charged the battery before use. What could be the issue?

While charging blue lights are on a minute or two then turn off and machine wont turn on. Is it a battery issue or is the vacuum machine dead?

We have a v6 animal stick vac and we find it is scratching our dark vinyl plank flooring regularly.
We have tried to find what part of the vac head is causing the problem but can't work it out, has else experienced this problem?
We test our machines and floor tools to work across both hard floors and carpets without causing damage, so this is of concern as it shouldn't be happening.

The blue battery indication light keep flickering. the is no power and it has been charging for a while. It does not have much use. What is the problem?

can i leave my dyson v6 on charge whilst my filter is not in it is drying
It is perfectly fine to leave the machine on charge with the filter drying elsewhere. Just ensure to check the filter is completely dry before reinstalling the machine and ensure the machine is not used without the filter in place.

Is there a handheld stick part that we could purchase that is able to attach to this to use?
The Dyson V6 Trigger is designed to be used as a handheld machine for small pickup jobs as opposed to cleaning your home. As such, we don't have any wands compatible with a V6 Trigger.

The standard v6 head can they replace the slim heads without an issue??
Should the head on your V6 Slim need to be replaced, this can be easily done.

what is the life expectancy for a V6 absolute power brush head, the machine is just three years old, kept impeccably clean have replaced the battery April 2020 and Dyson replaced the main motor body now the power brush head works intermittently have I purchased a lemon not happy
