Battery life is so obviously poor, not only my experience but every review says so. Not only do you have to pay through the nose for a replacement battery, (should be replaced for postage costs only, as they’re clearly faulty), but they’re so poor you can’t even buy one, as they’re permanently out of stock! Der, wonder why? Will never buy Dyson again. This was a Christmas gift so do not have proof of purchase, so this will probably not be posted as won’t be verified as a “genuine” customer. Great reviews for xiaomi-dreame-v9. That’s going to be my next purchase.

Great cordless. Upgraded from the v6absolute after having that a few yrs the battery deteriorated. V7animal much quieter than the v6, dustbin empties very easily, batt lasts over25mins, powerful, extra attachments useful for vacuuming crumbs off sofa. Much cheaper when on sale vs newer models and does the job for a quick vacuum which is what i needed the cordless for.

Overrated for sure. Bought this because we have a large dog and a small house mostly carpet. It quit working almost 2 years to the date we bought it. I’ve done all the recommendations for troubleshooting. It runs 10 seconds then shuts off. So bummed.

I use vacuum on hard flooring and carpets but the battery does not allow me to clean the entire house. I don’t think I would buy Dyson I think they are not worth the money!

Powerful, actually works like they advertise, great warranty, love it tiles, carpet, rugs mats my car floors.
Convenient battery is guaranteed have used dyson for years they always go out of there way too help if you have any issue's.

I use this Dyson on both floorboards and carpet. I have to say, that so far this is the best vacuam I have ever used. You can see and feel the difference on the carpet especially. It's quite surprising how much dust ect it picks up. I can highly recommend Dyson and I'm an asthmatic so removing dust is very important to myself.

Brand new out of box today. Motorhead spins for 2-3 seconds then stops. Carpet or tiles or hard floors doesn’t matter. Can’t see any blockages or reasons. Literally vacuumed about 2 square metres and it discovered issue and now wasted like an hour trying to troubleshoot. Based on questions and reviews seems like this batch is defective or deficient. Would recommend against purchasing

Very light, great suction but the battery life makes it a full day job... and I'm in an apartment.

I don't think it's worth the money. I am pretty disappointed for my first Dyson experience.

Bought this Dyson handheld as we have a corded vac as well. Have had nothing but trouble with the battery not staying in place and have had it repaired under warranty 3 times. Still having same problem and will only work for about 8 mins if that. The head stops working even after it has been cleaned.

Very light and easy to use.
Works well on carpet and hard floor, with a powerful suction. The brush attachment will help get sand and pets hair out of carpet and rugs.
The only issue is the battery only last for 8min at full power. It would be great if the battery was easily removable so that you can have a second battery on stand by.

Great on hard floors and carpet, love it, so handy to clean up pet hair or kitchen floors after cooking, honestly cannot remember the last time ive used a dustpan.

Recently purchased this vacuum and i am very impressed. I am thinking about purchasing another and storing it until this one fails because ive been through a hell of a lot of vacuums in my years and they just don't cut it like the v7. 10/10.

Excellent vacuum, great suction, long lasting battery, pick up animal hair no problem. Works on either carpet, tiles lino or floorboards with needing to change heads. Easy to use with push button trigger. Plenty of attachments for vacuuming various items.

This is by far my best vacuum cleaner. I use if for carpet and wooden floor and it works perfectly in both types of floorings. Nevertheless, the MAX option only lasts for 10 minutes. So I will normally use the normal mode for vacuuming which is already sufficient for me to clean my house.

I must admit that I was sceptical the battery would last long enough to do a e bedroom house but it does it with ease on the normal setting. You get at best 20mins on the max setting. But have found it still woks fantastic on tbe normal setting even with pets so a massive thumbs up from me.

Very happy with this vacuum cleaner! I use it to clean wooden floor and carpet. Both works fine. It has two power modes. I use MAX mode to clean carpet for stronger suctions. (MAX mode only works for around 6 minutes until the battery dies). It just works perfectly. It is also easy to clear the dusts/rubbish in the vacuum cleaner. I would definitely recommend this product!

I have a Dyson core vacuum already. This is an extra for easy handling. I suggest this won’t be big enough for a big area carpet vacuum job as you will need to empty the bin each time after cleaning. In terms of the performance, it’s as good as all other Dyson products I am using.

Thanks Mr DYSON for my second Dyson in 12 years. Loved my original barrel vacuum and it gave us 12 years of faithful service, but now we have had to replace it and just bought the new Animal cordless 7. What a delight it is to have this machine. We have dogs and I have tried other Vacuums. NO comparison for suction and performance. JUST LOVE IT.

Love this vacuum to clean crumbs in draws and hair from bathroom draws. Easy to use in car also! Happy to use at night also as it’s nice and quiet

Great at cleaning our hardwood floors and picking up after our kids and lab who sheds lots of hair everywhere. The only downside is the battery doesn't last very long

Works great and love that there is no cord in the way - the only 3 places it doesn’t perform is battery longevity (about 10 minutes) and if you want to vacuum your car, for some reason it does not work well in my car and it can be tricky to clean. But other than that to do carpets, rugs and hard flat surfaces it’s amazing!

So easy to use. I even use it on my couch. Never had any problems with it and just love how it hangs up. Would like to see adapters attached to the hang up device

Plastic overrated junk, clogs all the time. Used on tiles.
Requires constant cleaning and charging and the suction is really bad. I think Dyson must of paid people to make five star reviews.

If you hate vacuuming like me and don't want an affordable vacuum this Dyson is great.
I use it on carpet and tiles.
I have a 5 bedroom house and it lasts the entire house.
Easy to empty and use.
Vacuuming takes less time as its handheld and no annoying cords.
