Stressful beyond belief
5 hours waiting, customer service impossible to get through, turned my holiday info nightmare, had to make two bookings now I fear I have lost my money (£400).
Unhelpful staff at reception, lack of care and compassions for clients after serving them upset after 4 hours of waiting, rude and dismissive staff at exit gate. The whole experience was beyond believe. I am not surprised to have seen 2 star rating given to the thrifty, I gave it 1 in the absence of 0 as an option of score.
One member of staff showed me some sign of humanity so I yes 1 star could be just justified.
My fight landed at noon I left the airport at 6:30pm hungry, exhausted and upset.

Came to rental company to pick up cars and they do not have any. Impossible to call and get refund. Had to email support because phone number is not working
Bad experience as dealer Okmobility did not accepted a credit card which is not embossed.
Difficult communication with dealer OkMobility. Credit card not embossed was not accepted. They sent me to EconomyBookings as the reservation was made on their site. Bad experience with broker în the middle. Nobody is answering and sending from.one to the other, loosing time ...

Instead of 150 euro, we paid 450. The car was ok, but not the type we booked.

I canceled my reservation in a timely manner because I made 2 to them by mistake. Instead of money back in my bank account, they said they will give a voucher which I didn't choose. I wrote back but no reply. Stay away from them, a rip off!

I was not aware of the terms & conditions with respect that a deposit payment is needed to confirm booking & it’s not refundable . I am use to leaving a credit card to hold booking & payment on pick up of vehicle. Would not book again. Luckily I don’t need to cancel. I am also disappointed that my son booked the same vehicle after me cheaper! Very confusing. I appreciate booking agencies need to make money but holidays are a very expensive time for all tourists especially like me from Australia.

arrived at the address. The employee said that you need to make a reservation on the site. done! as a result, the price for the car was set at 459 € and a deposit of 250 €. about the amount on the site debited from the card 111 € they do not know. refused to take this reservation. therefore cancel. please cancel the penalty on your part. we canceled the booking immediately

Can't use Amex in Croatia
The booking process was really straight forward and simple. Unfortunately when we arrived to pick up our rental we were told we were unable to use our American Express Credit Card. This was not advertised on the website nor communicated in any email, and we had already paid the deposit on our Amex card with no issue.

Booking for a Sunday accepted night before. Deposit taken following morning cancelled email received with no explanation. No phone number to resolve with anyone. Discovered on taxi arrival as had no access to email! This platform doesn't appear to recognise what a high standard of customer service entails. I was left stranded and hung out to dry. Don't use
They charged extra deposit and never paid it back
First the admition process was too slow. We waited alot and it lasted 1.5 hour to get the car. Even though I had a call and reminded I want baby car seat, they told me they do not have it. At the end, They charged me 1500 Turkish Lira, almost 75 Euro extra claiming that it is a deposit and they will pay it me back. Even though I had a full insurance and the car have been back without damage, after almost a month, they have not paid back my deposit. I send them an email, but no answer yet after 2 weeks.
There's cheating in deductions of payment

When I made the booking in CAD, $510.08 was deducted from my credit card but now upon looking at my statement online it shows I was deducted $526.78, the numbers are played between EUR and USD, I think I'm gonna look for another deal elsewhere and cancel this booking if this doesn't get rectified

I took a full coverage when I rent my car.
I had a car accident (I wasn’t in fault at all)
It’s been 4 months that I try to contact them (by phone and by mail)
And I have no answer and no news. I’ve done a claim the day of the accident.
I just lost 2500$ for nothing.
It’s not worth it.
I had my accident in the beginning of February and we are the 29th of may and I still have no news about my money.
Avoid Ripoff merchants
I booked a car through these guys. Three weeks out from travel had to cancel. Option either a refund or voucher. Opted for refund. Email advised I will be charged a cancellation fee of USD$64.88 and it will take at least 21 days or longer to receive refund. Original booking on their site was in AUS$. Now they transfer to USD to rip customers off.
Still waiting for refund which I’m beginning to suspect will never appear in my bank account.
This company is a scam in every way.
Lesson learned always go direct to the supplier you choose. May cost a bit more but in the long run is actually cheaper.

Feels more transparency on insurance requirements is more than warranted. We were forced to pay for insurance at the time of pick up

The car was not delivered as per booking confirmation received on the email, waited for an hour in the airport,contacted 10 times phone provided however call center was shut, did not get the car in the end . Managed to speak to someone in the end however said they don't have confirmation in place and asked to wait till 10:00 am
Worst car rental experience
1-economybookings.com offered full auto insurance but the car rental company did not accept that insurance. So I had to purchase another insurance for 36€ from the car rental company. This in my opinion is a fraud.
2-the pickup address provided by economybookings.com was outdated and we spend an hour walking around the city to find the car rental office. We had to pay 20€ for taxi to get us to the correct location.
3-unclear communication both from the booking agency and the rental company.
I will not use their services again and will warn other not to use it.
Good service
Service in general is good, but when you hire the full insurance, its a third party contract, and the real car rental doesn’t know about it, so at moment you need, you must pay it and later claim, headache at the end for sure.
Worst car rental experience
After waiting an hour in line, I was told the car I reserved was not available and all they had were “large SUVs” for a significant price increase. I was told by the guy at the counter to call and get a refund, I have not heard back from anyone at Economy Bookings yet about that refund. Horrible, rude experience. Don’t recommend.
Horrible Car Rental in Crete, Greece
Please never use Right Car Rental in Crete. We have had good experiences with EconomyBookings.com but this went really poorly, really quickly. Rental agent was not attentive to us and we waited in line for over an hour, with only three people in front of us. They pushed additional products on us and generally made us uneasy about the entire rental.
I'll never book with you again
Why would I? I can get the same price and no risk when I have delays in my itinerary. Plus there are way better companys to book through.

Lack of Information
I wish they had explained that there was an age restriction. You only discover this after they have taken your money. I am 2 years over the limit and my daughter will have to do all the driving. They never sent me the rental voucher, I had to pull it off their web site.
Casncellation
I reserved a vehicle and paid up front. I was advised a week later that my reservation was cancelled and the reason given was “other”. I did not cancel this reservation and have had no response to my requests for help. I was also charged at $69 cancellation fee. I would not advise using this company
Awful
Overbooked cars, line to rent was 4+ hours and didn't even end up getting a car. Walked over the Alamo counter and was able to get a working car in minutes.

I made my booking and they took my deposit money, I’m traveling to renew my passport, and in no moment through my booking did they stated I need a current one, even though I have a driver license and a LTC drivers license. After that they made us wait for five hours to tell us we won’t be able to get the car. It’s been four days from that incident and I still haven’t received my deposit back. Therefore this company is not responsible to its clients, and its way of handling reservations is unprofessional and lacking in more ways than one, and the cherry on top is that they haven’t refunded my deposit so they are thieves. The best of luck to you if you if you are planing to rent from them.
Not Very Happy
After finally finishing the paperwork, I had to wait 20 minutes for a car to finally be brought up. (The lady who did the check in was very good.) The check in person had to call many times. No one would help me put my suitcases in the car and the guy who brought car actually told the check in lady “it wasn’t his job!!!!!”. I found a nice man from Avis next to Budget and he willingly helped me!!!!!! The car was not what I requested, is old and beat up with a lot of kilometers on it. Smaller than the Hyundai i 20 and no where near as nice.
This is the 3rd time with Budget and 5th or 6th or 7th with Economy. And I need to re-book for the 4th of June for 3 months- not going to use Budget!
Fraudsters
I searched online for the best car rental deal. I found the same vehicle from the same rental car company cheaper by a considerable amount from EconomyBookings.com compared to its competitors. I naturally chose the cheaper option. To my surprise and shock, my credit card was charged three times the price than what was agreed. I rented a car for about 125 with insurance, once at the car rental they charged me with an extra 166eur because i had a debit card and not a credit card. If i had a credit card they said that they would have taken a deposit of 1000eur + something. I wouldn't use this service again since it ended up be almost double the price in the end to rent the car once everything was sorted out.

Robbed
These thieves juts charged my CC 500 dollars and sent me a quote, not a booking reservation. No idea where to pick up this paid for car, even if it exists. I called the phone number provided. Very early into the call, the time reached 6pm eastern so they hung up on me without a word.
Master Card has already assured me a refund in 15 days.
Left stranded now as no room on card for another charge plus deposit.

I witnessed, customer after customer, with reservations, progress through an absurdly long line, in relation to the lines at other car rental kiosks, and then be forced to sit on benches and the floor while they waited for rental cars to be returned. This is a disgusting and unacceptable business practice. While I understand that you are not the rental company, the fact that you would allow your customers to be put in this situation without any warning or alternative options, makes you complicit. I had a great trip and enjoyed the car. When I brought it back, the car company have charged me a lot for a scratch that is 1-2 mm wide, that I did not do. Rent a Car 4 Less was NOT in alignment with what I purchased and "paid in full" in advance when booking.
