Clothes not drying
I purchased this product from Harvey Norman approx 15 days ago. I am having the same problem as everyone else, the issue is that the clothes in my dryer is absolutely damp and can't dry them no matter what setting you put them on. It can take a whole day for the clothes to dry. I will be calling Harvery Norman after seeing everyone elses reviews & they can come and get their over priced machine. This is not a dryer its a joke. Should be recalled, esp at the ridiculous price we paid for it. I thought it would save us time not create another nightmare. Don't purchase

What a time waster!
We have only had this dryer for 5 days and already it is a nightmare. We are having to put loads of sheets and towels on for two cycles on the highest setting to get them dried. We empty all the little draws and fluff collectors after every cycle. I used to be able to wash, dry and iron two sets of queen size bed sheets in one day, it now has to be spread over two days! I just don't have the time to keep monitoring the dryer. We used to just pop the load in our old dryer and hey presto it was dry when in started to sing its little finished son...Read more
g! This stupid one has to be constantly paid attention. Harvey Norman is next on my list of people to call, I will be asking for it to be returned and replaced with a different brand. What a shocker and absolute time waster. I have only given it one star as you cannot leave the stars blank!1 comment

Terrible clothes are not drying
I am having the same problem as everyone else, the issue is that the clothes in my dryer is absolutely damp and can't dry them no matter what setting you put them on. I had just purchased this product as I have the washing machine as well. I brought this product from Harvey Norman and now have to wait for a service person to come out, to fix this problem. Should be recalled.
Recieved refund. Service person said needed new mother board.

Please rectify this problem Electrolux
Unfortunately this sounds like an ongoing problem with this model. We purchased ours a month ago and I can honestly say it hasn't dried one load properly. We were encouraged to buy this drier from an extremely good salesperson. Hopefully Electrolux will rectify this problem, I'm happy purchase any product( but when it says it's a drier that's what it should do). I don't think I'm asking much.

Great condenser collector only
Mid April 2017 I purchased this Condenser Model Dryer for my daughter. Having 3 kids and school uniforms it is essential. Big mistake. At 764 dollars it was expensive but to then find out it was malfunctioning made this purchase even more painful. We did contact Electrolux service and a service technician came out. We waited until they could change the module. The new module did nothing for the fault of not drying the clothes so after ringing the service department once again the technician rang my daughter and spoke over the phone very rud...Read more
ely and accused her of not being able to operate this machine and that there was nothing wrong with it. He never came out to the premises. She felt so humiliated by what she felt was bullying that she rang me crying and said I don't want this thing anymore please swap it with your plain dryer. So we swapped over and last weekend, now the first week in June, I tried this dryer after reading the instruction book thoroughly. Well what a con job this machine has to be. I had about 3kg of spun dry washing in the machine on hot dry for 1hour. No drying took place but the condenser collector captured water. So I poured it out and reset the timer on timing only cycle for 90 minutes. Once again it collected some condensation but the clothes were still very damp. So this is a 3 kg cotton load in an 8 kg dryer that is still not dry after 2 and a half hours. I was understandably very angry at this point and tried another 40 minutes on timing cycle. We have now completed 3 hours and 10 minutes of so called drying and at last they were dry. However, this small load in my previous Simpson plain dryer would have been done in 50 minutes completely. This dryer is a lemon. As a condenser collector it is great but as a dryer it is a complete lemon/ It has a very poor electricity rating that is drying a small load three times as long, while I am emptying a condenser collector three times. So do not be fooled by these wizz bang condenser models where efficiency and drying capability are promoted. From my perspective, and now experience, it is false advertising. I too now hate the thing and wanted to warn others about purchasing one of these lemon machines. We are now frightened to contact Electrolux again to discuss this situation for fear of being bullied and humiliated once again. I have 3 university degrees and have the capacity to read instructions and operate appliances. This is the end of us ever buying any Electrolux appliance again and you will be well warned to stay clear of so called condenser dryers.1 comment

Isn't drying the washing properly
This dryer is a good size and fits plenty of washing in it, however it is terrible at drying. Sheets, clothes, whatever, they still come out damp. I've tried all the settings, even the timed one and just chucked it on for a fix time and still damp. I ruffled everything around, still damp. I will be contacting the store to arrange a return or exchange.

Absolute rubbish.
I thought $850 was decent amount of money to spend on a dryer. I went with Electrolux because I thought they were a good brand. The machine wouldn't dry clothes, no matter what setting it ran on, you would put it on for hours and still get wet clothes. I rang Harvey Norman who sent out a repair man. He did something to the programming and the 1st load after this dried. Then the next load I thought felt a little damp but I was not sure, then the next load was damp definitely. Then it got worse, the machine would stop after a couple of minutes. I...Read more
have had it for about 3 months and only used it a handful of times, it has not worked since the day we got it. I have called Harvey Norman again and will be pursuing a refund. Absolute rubbish and from the reviews I have read this is not an isolated problem.1 comment

Love this condenser dryer
Huge drum can fit a load of towels or sheets in. My husband plumbed it in so I don't have to empty the water drawer every load. We had a very wet winter and I was so thankful for this great dryer.
If people think it doesn't dry their clothes, put it on strong dry then when it's finished you just need to ruffle the load a bit as you empty the clothes into a basket. It dries absolutely fine. For delicate clothes you can dry on a delicate setting, they wont feel as dry so hang them on a hanger to finish...hardly need to iron!

Hate This Dryer
Bought this dryer a couple of days ago and absolutely HATE IT! It does not dry!!! I have bought Electrolux products for over 20 years and have always been extremely satisfied with their performance. How can you sell a dryer that does not dry clothes? I have tried every cycle and the clothes still remain damp. I am also disappointed with 2nds World who recommended this dryer. I cannot afford to replace this dryer and have no idea what to do, I have a large family and cannot dry their clothes.

We unplugged the Dryer to paint our laundry. A week later we plugged it back in and it came up with and error code: EH0. This means interrupted power supply so we tried a different power point. Still got the same error code. Can someone tell me whether we should order a new part? It is just out of it's 2 year warranty - bought in July 2016 :(

We have a EDC2086GDW dryer that was a warranty replacement when our previous model faulted when in extended warranty, now this unit has faulted with EH0 we have tried several times powering the unit down but to no avail.I am affraid my confidence in electrolux products has sunk to a very low level. It took nearly four months for the original replacement to arrive, now another failure. Any help?

Unfortunately the EHO error spelled the end for our machine. Luckily, replaced under extended warranty, upgraded to a Bosch this time as Electrolux only seem to make products that barely last beyond manufacturers warranty
