I’m having trouble with my Tumble Dryer, EDP2074PDW. We have had this machine since November 2016.
I have cleaned all the condenser and drum including the water pump compartment at the back.. Still it will turn off after 3 minutes and the water container light flashes.
We have it directly plumbed into our waste, which I have also checked and flushed with Draino, just in case. The water container is bone dry. Any other options I can try?.. Very frustrating an washing is piling up.. Thanks Hayley

Hi just wondering if this can be installed side by side? Does it come with brackets or do we order them from you ? Thanks.

My Electrolux EDP2074PDW condenser dryer is no more working because the childlock is ON and no more possible to unlock.
The Start Led is flickering all time.
All buttons are working (a press on each provides a ¨click¨ meaning the good working).
When pushing both button (Start and buzzer) simultaneously to unlock, childlock Led flashes three times and remains on.
I am lost and do not know how to fix this problem. It is probably very simple, but diagnose is not explained anywhere. Many thanks, Edith.

After 5 minutes the dryer cuts out and the display goes blank, I can turn it to another setting and it will do the same thing after 5mins, if I put it on the refresh setting it will go through the whole 35min cycle without cutting out. Any ideas?? Many many thanks.

Hi Faye my name is Raegan & I’m the one who purchased the dryer & reviewed it on this site. I must say that I have not seen this error message on my dryer so I would advise you to go straight back to where you purchased it from and see if they can help as your warranty will cover this if it’s under a year old or if you’re like me you would have taken the extended 5yr one and the machine will be replaced. Electrolux are a good quality company & I am sure that if you call them they will help you. I hope all goes well
Did you find an answer? I have the same issue.
Baharehasked
hi,
please email me how I can install this machine correctly?
the clothes get hot in there and not dry at all!
I was thinking if any thing is wrong with my assembly .

Hi Bahareh,
A condenser Dryer works differently to a Tumble Dryer,
Think of it as a vacuum cleaner sucking out the moisture from your clothes with hot air.
When you remove your clothes from the Dryer they will feel hot and damp when they cool down and reach room temperature they will feel dry.

Electrolux Have updraded us to the new Electrolux 8kg Condenser Dryer (EDC2086GDW)
I would say that you would need to call some one to come fix. Or even buy a new one. You could have got the one with the gremlin in it.

Hi Kim...I'd approach Electrolux first, as having an expensive machine like this conk out after only two and a bit years is really crook. Yours might be a more minor problem but even if it isn't they may be willing to help. this is the advice given to me by a technician, on the basis that they're trying to repair their poor reputation earned from these machines being unreliable.
Steprenf thanks I rang electrician and Electrolux is going to fix under the warranty as it was so close they fix up 1 month out of warranty and it's a common fault with the machine it's the heating element

Hi, I bought a new 7 kg condenser dryer in August 2012 and I recently put one towel and a bath mat in it to dry, turned it on and it started and then stopped. The towel was warm (but of course still wet). I turned it off at the wall socket as it is plugged directly into the wall socket and turned it on again and it does nothing - no lights turn on.
What could be wrong? What do I do?
1 answer
Hi i would check the fuse board or plug another electrical appliance into the socket to see if it works if it does i would then contact Electorlux and ask them for some help sorry i couldnt help much Liz
