The only let down with this fridge is the door handle - ours pulled off after only a short time and we've tried to fix it but to no avail. There doesn't seem to be a way to screw it on? How can this be fixed please as it looks like the freezer handle is going to be next! thanks

When you close the door the fridge will not allow the door to be reopened for around 45 seconds. When you are busy cooking and getting meals organised this feature is very annoying! Hiw do I disable this feature? Many thanks

I know exactly what you are talking about, this is the most annoying factor of the fridge! I am unaware of a way that you can turn it off like a function of some sort. However, I can tell you it gets better over time - 45 seconds turns into 5 seconds of waiting. Despite it being annoying I really believe it is what keeps all of our food from spoiling so easily. We have saved so much money from not having food spoil with this fridge.

Thanks for that. We look forward to only 5 seconds. I can't believe a manufacturer would make a fridge that won't let the door open until it is ready. We have had quite a few fridges over the years and know no one else whose fridge does this. Food spoiling has never been a problem in previous fridges. Its a great fridge but I'd be unlikely to recommend it to anyone else.

How often do I need to change the filter ?

There is a lighting panel on the inside right hand side that tells you the temperature etc. It will also have a little warning light that comes on to tell you it’s nearly time to change the filter (this gives you time to purchase one if you don’t have a spare available). And then eventually the red light comes on saying change filter and it will remain on. Filter needs to be changed every 3 months. Because it’s only my husband and I using it I sometimes let it go abit longer 4-5 months because it’s used less than the average household and just set a reminder on my iPhone. Just a tip when you do change it because I had a blonde moment when I first changed mine - when you put the new one in you have to press a and hold a button on the lit up panel to make it start up. Hope this makes sense and helps!

Made in Thailand.
Just want to add that we have cut our food bill down by approximately 20% due to the preservation of fresh foods and less wastage
