Complete waste of money
I have now owned this printer for just on three years. Throughout ownership it has performed very poorly. Specifically, no matter how often the printing heads are cleaned that machine does not print cleanly (leaving multiple blurred lines of print). Second, when scanning a multiple page document the printer always jamms on the second page as it is fed into the printer. Thus today the printer goes to the tip & I will purchase a different brand.

Don't buy!
Have had this printer for one month, and has already broken!! I bought it home and it would not connect to the wifi, just kept coming up with error, it then used an entire ink cartridge printer multiple copies of things when I only asked for one copy! Then when I was printing something it took up all the paper in the tray, instead of just one piece of paper and now its very jammed and I can not un-jam it and it will not work at all. I have contacted support but unfortunately they were unhelpful. Am not going to have to go out and buy a new printer.
Purchased in April 2021.

So Very Disappointed in Epson
Just read a few of the reviews so I don't need to repeat what they are saying except I don't think my printer lasted 6 months before the print was "second rate" smearing lines and sometimes not even printing lines and most of the print was burred. I don't need to print much these days so just put up with it until I needed to print out an important legal document and so the fun began. Contacted Epson and it didn't take long for them to tell me it was a software problem and I need to have it repaired grrrrr. Contacted the repairer and am looking ...Read more
at $45 just for them to look and parts would be a plus. This will be the last Epson anything I buy and I'm so sad they are allowing this absolute rubbish on the market as I have had 3 Epson printers over the years and loved themPurchased in June 2021 at Harvey Norman for $242.00.

A Lemon
Since purchasing the printer for less than 2 years ago it will refuse to print (saying not connected) although the main menu show as connected and green light. Loose memory of toner and indicate it is empty although still full. Sometimes reinstalling the software will allow it to work. My brother in Europe has the same printer and the same problems. Spoke to Epson who said it is a hardware problem and need to be repaired, which will have an inspection fee of $110
Purchased in March 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for $179.00.

The absolute worst printer!
The ink frequently runs out, and if it is low on any color it will prevent you from printing in Black and White - even with plenty of black ink. I have used Epson printers for years, and I was always pleased with their performance and reliability, but the WF-3620 is an absolute piece of trash. Do yourself a favor, stay far away from this printer!

0x97 error
Fitted a new Epson XL black cartridge to the printer and immediately got the 0x97 error which none of the suggested fixes could solve. Disappointed with Epson on this occasion and I have been a long time purchaser of Epson printers in the past. Looking at a new printer as this Epson can't be fixed as whilst the 0x97 has gone the printer won't print.

Bye bye Epson
I have used Epson printers for a while - cheap and cheerful and realistic about expectations. Spent a bit more on the WF-3620 and for a while it was ok. I could print wirelessly and liked the large capacity paper tray. Regular firmware updates but eventually the printer decided it wasn't connected to USB (it was!) but would print ok anyway. I was also coming to realise that it used more ink than I thought it should. Finally after 25 months got the notorious 0x97 error which does not respond to "fixes". As Epson know, it is too cheap a product t...Read more
o consider repairing and will go to the tip. I did better than most, looking at the reviews here, but killing a product with a known error after two years is unacceptable and will lose customers. Loyalty has its limits.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Horrible printer!
I bought this printer specifically because I wanted to print out quality photos. This does a terrible job! Washed out colors and the ink barely lasts a few weeks and is very expensive. SO disappointed! Printing my photos at Costco and Shutterfly and spending the extra money. Don't purchase, if you're considering!

Just my opinion based on my experience
I spent more on this printer than I normally would as it promised great quality and speedy printer and it delivered both these things at first. I had done research and was thinking that it had all paid off. However, my experience soured and as I relied on reviews to make my choice, I thought I should share my experience. I do not print much and was greatly disappointed when I went to print for the first time after some weeks and received an error message (Error 0x97). To proceed further the error needs to be addressed. According to the web, the...Read more
error indicates a hardware issue. Given it is a known error I was hoping for more support. I could not find much support online or at the Epson website but did try what little advice was available to me. I also re-installed the printer - all to no avail. I looked into having it repaired but the cost of having someone look at it was almost as expensive as the printer. Although it had not been used much the warranty was expired. Finally I have given up and bought a cheap printer (not Epson) that won't hurt as much to discard if it malfunctions. So after a very light work load my WF-3620 is now headed for the scrap heap.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Invisible ink
Print quality ? - poor
Refill prices? - Over the top
I use quality paper but the Printer uses it as a sponge!
EPSOM advises using 2XL Cartridges as ink will last longer! Please program this into your product as I am lucky to get 10 copies before M & Y run out on Plain Paper Normal print setting.
Priced at over $100 for a complete package or $29 - $32 single cartridges, I've had more ink replacements than hot meals.
Very disappointing.

Truly a terrible printer, heads clog after only a week (or so) without use
I purchased this Epson in late 2017 and it has been an abysmal failure all around. Print colour using the original cartridges was poor and looked faded. After leaving unused over the Christmas/New Year break, on startup, the black would not print at all and the other colours were patchy running the Nozzle Check after the first head clean. It took several print head cleans (with nozzle Checks in between) to finally get the black printing again - this of course not only runs down the overly expensive ink, but compounds the problem in that the cle...Read more
aning pad ends up with more ink on it to dry out, and excessive cleaning can apparently damage the print head. This happened with my first Epsom multifunction after only 2 sets of original cartridges used and cleaning with the new third set failed, with too many clean cycles performed resulting in print head damage. My daughter also had the same problem with her Epson, where heads would not clean, and now this Epson multifunction will not even recognize the genuine Epson cartridges. Now today after some days without use, the WF-3620 started up with an error message suggesting the heads required a clean. THE SOLUTION for all with repeated woes with their Epsons (also worked on my equally troublesome Brother MF) Fortunately I had, in the meantime, purchased of 2 sets empty refillable cartridges, good quality ink and printhead cleaning/maintenance solution. I quarter filled the $20.26 a set empty cartridges with cleaning solution, ran a clean and have now printed 7 pages with the cleaning solution rather than ink in place and still going strong - so I guess I got to use the ink deposited on the pads from previous head cleans. Not yet back to printing with the original cartridges and will try the refillable set with ink purchased once the Epson set is empty - the printer performance has been so poor that it really can't be worse with non genuine and I certainly am not going to pay the exorbitant price for genuine Epson with all the woes for printing a grand total of 55 pages so far.1 comment

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EPSON
i have enough experience with Epson printers. They only accepts genuine cartridges which HIGHLY expensive. Mine failed exactly just after the warranty period. The printing quality is terrible. It shatters ink every where on paper. So my opinion is to stay away from Epson. The scanner is working ok, but once the printing fails, the printer has to go to bin.

Not worth your money!
I am onto my second WF-3620 printer. I had to replace the first one because of poor printing (smudging over the page). Luckily it was still under warranty (so I thought). Now onto my second printer and it is doing the same thing and it's not even a year old. What a waste of money and my time. I have replaced all the cartridges at great expense a few times. I also hate the scanning interface. It's slow and cumbersome, and at times doesn't do what it's meant to do.
Verdict - I will never ever by another Epson printer again.

Not worth the money or time.
I have had two WF3620s, one as an original purchase, and another warranty replacement. Neither worked successfully and require a lot of print head cleaning to get reasonable results. Sometimes a head clean before every job. Paper feeding is OK although my printer balks at 220 gsm high quality photo paper.
It gets one star because about all it does is spread ink on to the paper. Not necessarily in high quality.

hard to use
this got good reviews but I cant agree. already had it replaced once and have had to call technical support on numerous occasions. cant work out how to print photos. the instruction manual doesn't even tell me how to load the photo paper. Im no computer wizard but Ive had printers before that were easy to use. will be advertising this on gumtree soon. will never buy another Epson.
December 16th 2017 Update: update on last review
this is hopeless. had to reset printer again for about the 6th time in 12 months. now for some reason it wont print .AGAIN. another reset. then it will be another and another. definitely buying a new printer but then have to go through set up and hope its a good one.

Almost useless
Print quality is average but has 2 major flaws:
1. doesn't print anything that is light coloured very well, becomes unreadable
2. every time you come off network with device, like a laptop, you are likely to have to reinstall, remove modems and so on as the thing wont show up as online.
Was recommended at the store, clearly they are being paid off by these crooks.

I really want a reliable printer
Print quality was very good for a while, then deteriorated and never recovered despite just a week ago replacing all ink cartridges ($164). I've done the clean heads and alignment procedures numerous times with no improvement. This is the 2nd Epson of the same model and it is less than a year old. It now won't print anything and displays the error code: 0x97 despite numerous restarts. Seems Epson reliability is short lived - I won't be buying another Epson. I'm not interested in warranty etc - I just want a printer that gives no trouble.

Epson of a
Printed decent quality until the starter ink ran out, then purchased new full Epson cartridges, including the large black.
Never could get it to print again, mad I wasted nearly enough dollars on the ink to have just bought a new printer.
When I took it to the local dump, the recycling bin for printers had several fairly new looking Epson workforces, what a surprise! That at least made me feel I wasn't throwing away a fixable printer.

Continuous problems
Cheap & nasty, so don't expect anything great. Printing quality is average, constantly gets jammed, pulls additional sheets out with each printed sheet. Cartridges often don't get recognised - regardless of whether they are genuine Epson or compatible cartridges, hence need to reinstall them often. Overall, a big nuisance of a printer.

terrible color photo printing
I have used Epson products before and have been happy until now. I expected the WF-3620 to be better than the last comparative model but the color photo printing is horrible. There is no excuse for it. I though maybe the setting weren't right but I tried everything. Thankfully this was not expensive so it's now going into the garbage.
