Last epson printer for me

The printer is awful. Started out ok but it just got worse and worse. Its extremely confusing to use as well. The ink light flashes so you lift the lid and follow the printed instructions except that the button doesn't seem to do anything. The printer drivers are 23mb and when finished don't seem to have added anything.
There are enough brands out there that i will avoid epson fully now.

January 21st 2018 Update: Printer from the 80's

Scanning is unbearably slow.
The software looks like it was written in vb6.
Printer eat ink cartridges like crazy.
The only usage i have found with it is raising my blood pressure.

Really this printer is a poor excuse for a printer, spend extra, save in the long run buy something else.

Quick to install and prints well

I found the Epson 220 to be easy to install with cd and printed well from the first test page. I use it with my old usb cable and works ok. Scans well. Not too much extra software came with it which can make using machine less complicated. Its small too which means it doesnt take up too much room on my desk. The price was ok and quality of print nice.

This printer is by far the worst I've ever encountered

Have had so many issues with this printer and I have only had it for two months. First I had issues with the wi-fi not connecting to the printer properly so I went out and bought a usb cable to connect to the printer and then it said ink is not recognisable so I went and bought two new ink cartridges that might I add are not cheap, so it proceeded to tell me they are not recognisable, so I phoned Epson to see what they can do and received nothing but the rudest worker. Absolute rubbish do not buy from this brand, I know I never will again.

Woeful product!

I was actually quite relieved to read so many people having the same problems with this terrible product. I purchased it mainly for the scanner but it has been a nightmare to set up. The wifi option does not work and half the time neither does the cable option. I've reloaded the software three times and I still cannot get the icon to work. I can only access the scanner through my control panel and the software for the scanner component is useless! It could also possibly be the slowest scanner ever made. No wonder Harvey Norman were selling these for $65. I've had it for ten days and its off to St Vinnies today. I cannot be bothered even trying to get a refund!!
