Does anyone know where I can get one in Sydney? Appliances Online no longer sell them and I need a good small front loader for my small laundry- though I 'd prefer one with less cycles. I wish more people made small front loaders!

I think AO were the only resellers. Wasnt aware they had stopped selling, they had some just last week for $615. If you can wait they might have it again.

I purchased an Esatto EFLW9 9kg Front Load Washing Machine a few weeks ago and have used it a couple of times with just normal washing - no furry items, blankets etc., but the washing comes out wet. There is no spin cycle on my machine. I did have a Samsung for nearly fifteen years and am sorry I got rid of it as I never had this problem. As an elderly person, I don't see why I should have to get on my hands and knees and fiddle around with the drainage pipe as it's a new machine.

Philip, there will be a spin cycle. I usually set mine up manually on 1200 rpm because I found the automatic modes not very useful (I’m getting on a bit, too). There is also a spin only cycle. You need to read the manual that would have come with it, and if you can’t find that, its at this link: https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/public/manuals/Esatto-EFLW9-9kg-Front-Load-Washing-Machine-User-Manual.pdf

I have just purchased a 6kg front loader. I also purchased the same machine in November but had to send it back because on the 15 min cycle, when it gets down to 2 minutes to go it just keeps going back and forth from 2 mins to 1 mins about 8 times and when it finally ends the clothes are still soaking.
I have used the new one twice now and I’m having the same issue!!! Can anyone tell why this would be happening??

How do you open the long panel at the front to access the drain pump filter?

There are 2 slots on the top of the panel on the left and right. Put a butter into the slots and pull down then the panel should come off.

I bought a brand new washer less than two months ago. It has now stopped draining. We cleaned out drain filter and put back, but when the cycle got up to the spin and drain part, came up with message e21, which manual says means the drain pump isblocked. How can I fix this please, I have loads to wash.

Hi! Is it easy to get a warranty for Esotto's product? How's their customer service? Thanks.

Hi Tamara, The washing machine came with it's own warranty, I bought it through Appliances online so there was the option to add more warranty through them. My daughter has had hers for over 12 months without the need for contact with the customer service or any repairs. hope this helps. Ian

Hi we have had no problems so far with our Essato until yesterday when the spin cycle is not working. In fact the machine is not spinning in any cycle. Now what I found strange is that next to the time, a lock symbol is appearing. Could that be the issue? And if so, how can we fix it? Thanks a lot

We ALSO have an incredibly slow spin cycle, which means the clothes come out heavy and soaked. I have even put the spin speed up to its highest setting and still no luck. If you find an answer, I'd love to know!

How can you clean the machine? Have dog bed covers washing and want to wash so left over hair does not transfer to clothes. Thanks

Hi Karen,
I would advise the following:
Check the drain pump filter on the front of the machine (likely hidden behind a long panel on your model) as any hair that has made it through the drum system should have gathered here.
I would also suggest running the machine on an empty cycle to flush the unit or purchasing something like a fur catcher (i will supply a link below) that may be of great help in the future :)

I have only used my machine about 4 times and the last two times the clothes are very wet at the end of the cycle. I even did an extra spin cycle on the load tonight and still the same as before the extra spin. The machine is tumbling more than spinning. Something is definitely not working correctly. Spin speed was set on 1200 for the extra spin. Machine was purchased at end of December 2018. Needless to say, not very happy. Really hoping I didn't get the lemon...

UPdate, tested the quick wash today and put the spin on 1000 and it seemed to work okay. Still not terribly dry but a lot better than yesterday's wash load on the Cotton 20 cycle. Will test the Cotton 20 cycle again on the weekend. Just for info, I washed a couch cover and a king-single flat sheet, much under the 6kg limit for the Cotton 20 cycle.

Hi LizaJune, we find most of these issues can be resolved by checking and cleaning the drain pump filter on the front right of the machine.

Items like coins, bobby pins and lint can get caught in here and if the pump is badly clogged this may impact how the machine spins.

If you need help feel free to give us a buzz on 1300 11 4357.

Thanks for your reply. There is no drain visible on the front of the machine, unless it is behind the panel at the bottom. I'll look for it on the weekend.

Just want to know why the spin cycle does not wring the clothes enough to dry them? We have used the machine for nearly 2 months no problems. Then suddenly the clothes are coming out wet. It seems the spin cycle is not happening.

Hi Marlo,
Thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like there may be a blockage in your drain pump filter or drain hose. I would check the drain pump filter on the front of the machine (images on this can be found in your user manual, make sure to put down some towels when doing this) and make sure there are no kinks or blockages in the drain hose. Also give the machine a hard reset (off at the power point for 35 minutes) to reset all sensors. If this fails, please call us on 1300 114 357, we will be happy to discuss your service options.

Hi Cath,
This is very strange! We should be able to unlock the machine with a few troubleshooting points, though this will likely be easier to do over the phone, please call us on 1300 114 357 or email us at [email protected] so we can give you a call!

Delay does not turn off, does not return to 0 it just sits on 1 flashing. Drives me insane, I just want to start a damn load of washing. Any help?

1 answer

Residentia Support R.Esatto

Hi Bugz,
Thanks for getting in touch. This actually relates to a misprint in the manual-- the delay "1" is the same as not setting a delay time, it will delay the start of your machine by one minute, so if you select this and then press start, the machine should start within 60 seconds. the "0" cannot be set.
If this does not answer your question please email your contact number to [email protected] and I will give you a call to explain :)

Hi there we had no problem with this once installed we were right to go. Call the retailer you purchased it from asap

Inalto MC25B

Hi Dave,
It sounds like there is an issue with the start button, try a hard reset (off at the power point for 30 mins) and if this doesn't fix the issue, please contact the retailer or us directly on 1300 114 357 to discuss.
Sorry for the hassle!

this is a silly question - I usually use a liquid detergent but the esatto detergent/softner dispenser looks like it only takes powder. should I change to using a powder, does it wash better with powder in this machine? my previous machine I just poured the detergent in before loading clothes. thanks (yes I am blond!)

Hello I only use a liquid I dont like powder I have had no problems with it at all? Thanks

Hi there, there is a blue flap to the left compartment that swings and snaps closed. This is where you pour your liquid in. It will hold in there for about 45 seconds before it starts to slowly run out giving you enough time to do what needs to be done before starting a wash. Not ideal if you want a delayed start, still have to use powder for a delayed cycle or the liquid will slowly run down into the shoot then drum and I don't like the idea of liquid sitting in the passage way/shoot and down in to the drum unless it has just been poured and then flushed away in to the cycle. It can cause blockages and bad smells if powder or liquid is sitting stagnant in piping and the drum.
