GEGFS60 (Stainless), GEGFW60 (White)Natural Gas + LPG Gas
2016 brought house with this Euromaid Gas Stove GEGFS60 installed. Running on LPG bottles. Natural Gas sticker on rear, information recently learned says when gas type changed then the relevant sticker is attached to show what it's using, LPG or Natural, NOT done this time. Unknown who installed. Euromaid told us this stove only ever should be used on Natural Gas never LPG. This is confirmed in User Manual sent to us by Euromaid which only shows jet sizes for Natural Gas, but here it's is running on LPG. Had problem with temperature so Euromaid...Read more
sent new thermostat to be fitted under warranty 2016. 2017 Replaced with a bigger stove and are going to install Euromaid in rental property that uses Natural gas. This is when I became aware of difference in jets for types of Gas burned. If Natural Gas Jets and connected to LPG Bottles you may have 3 foot flame. If LPG Jets running on Natural Gas then not enough gas so doesn't work. Natural Gas from pipe line runs less pressure so bigger jets used to increase amount of Gas flow. So I called a gas fitter and it cost me $100 to come and look at stove and Jets and what I knew anyway and say yes these are LPG size jets, 5 minutes work. LPG has much higher pressure so stove has smaller jets to slow gas flow down. Each brass jet bolt has a jet size stamp on top about size 2 font. So now to use this stove I have to buy the correct original never should have been changed jets at about $28 for each 5 jets and also pay another gas fitter to install and $100 or so call out fee. I've found so much confusion between people supplying me information, especially what appears to be Euromaids Korean called centre. I just want to use this stove to save $500 to $700 for a new stove. So Frustrated.

Your web site says call 1800 444 357 and every time I call then now I get a male or female with a Korean type accent. The first couple of times I called believe I spoke to someone in Australia and she... Read more
was very helpful and sent me the Users Manual for this stove. Anyway regardless of that the call centre with accents told me who the Euromaid agent was Endeavour Refrigeration & Appliances Brisbane. I contacted them and the lady there was going to get back to me but she apparently got sick and no one got back to me. A male then told me to try a gas fitter with a tap and die set to make the jets the correct size. Calls to gas fitters with this inquiry revealed no one willing to do that. Next time I called the first lady was back and said she was in contact with Dorothy from Euromaid who was inturn in contact with Korea trying to get the jets and sort out this matter. If you supply me with a direct line number in Australia I will call you. My personal details aren't for public information. The bad story continues. Had GEGFS60 installed by a qualified gas fitter in rental property and guess what. The bloody thermostat still doesn't work. Rang Euromaid and spoke to the foreign call centre... Read more
man and told him thermostat still not working and he looked up previous records of our warrantee. Then proceeded to tell me it must have been an installation fault and seeing that was 2 years ago they want help. So it appears that it is my fault the qualified gas fitter replacing it under warrantee may have done it wrong. Or is there a fault with this model? New thermostat cost us $177. Hope they don't have a problem with installation again at our expense. Don't know if Euromaid have a problem with this model but they wont help me solve it. Maybe buy a different brand yourself to avoid possible same problem as me. Euromaid have made no attempt to assist me with this problem.

Burning food
Pros:
Looks attractive. Nice stove top. Mostly one surface and easy to clean. And, the 2 grates are elevated a little, so don’t sit directly in any spills. Large electric grill, which is great.
Cons:
No timer, a simple dial timer with an alarm would be helpful. Oven BURNS like the dickens!!! Yes, we organised a second visit from (a different member of) the Appliances Online Handy Crew, who checked everything. Apparently the lowest temperature, level 1/170 degrees, was cooking at 180 degrees, which is the acceptable ±10 degrees according to...Read more

Dont buy Euromaid Ovens bad quality bad customer service
Purchased my Brand new Euromaid Oven( According to Euromaid) found it to be very cheaply made with major faults appeared to be used, paid extra for delivery $160, paid to have it installed that is about $200 extra very poor oven doesnt cook properly, front main burner not working ( you tube video EUROMAID ARE CRAP) and doesnt reach appropriate tempratures for baking, does not display temprature, does not have a light to let you know when oven is at right temp, does not have a timer, i rang customer service 2-3 days for some one to come out ...Read more
and have a look then they have to wait for parts ordered to arrive. Ovens are Falsely advertised as European, they are made in a way which explains the bad quality of this product, just lifting it up or opening the lower draw and the metal bends it is so weak . Approached Euromaid for costs of delivery and installation (not to mention 2 days wasted) and have been totally ignored. All Euromaid products are of a low standard, thats why they are resold second hand with little use because they are a bad choice see for yourself . purchased Sat 8th returned Mon 10th2 comments

Hi Jonas,
It is concerning to hear of your experience.
Please contact our team on 1800 444 357 so that we can arrange a Euromaid Technician or Service Partner to attend and verify the fault. Alternatively, please send a direct message with your contact information and we can call you.
Thank you.
Faulty brand new Item was picked up and installed at cost, old oven had to be reinstalled at cost, retailer refused to pay my expenses on pick up and delivery and installation has cost me $150 in fuel, and new valve adapter as the oven was second hand and not new and the thread was damaged ( cross thereaded or some one installed it with multi grips gripping the thread) Is Euromaid does not make arrangements to pay $150 which is fuel and fittings, not almost 2 days wasted I will be making a fromal complaint to dept fair trading with documented evidence( advertisement) and photographs the oven was sold as new in a second hand state and will persue every review possible on the internet describing the poor quality of euromaid products and the absolutely pathetic after sales service . you have till this after noon to make arrangements for my payment . Contact the above retail outlet to arrange payment who I have blaimed untill I realised he was telling the truth that Euromaid sold it to him as new.
