Poor support
Evolution website direct you to Total Tools for all support. Total Tools are incapable of providing any post sales support. They tell me to contact Evolution and around and around we go.
The arbor size really limits your ability to get quality blades and forget using it for something like a dado etc as you can't buy the blades for this machine.
Purchased in June 2021 at Total Tools.

Value for money
I bought this machine a couple of years ago, and I’m delighted with its performance as I only saw light timber ie maximum of 38mm pine. If you wish to saw thicker than this go for something else as I think this is about the limit of its motor. The fence is a feature, as is the ability to stretch the bench top to accommodate ply sheet, but above all I can fold it up and put it aside without it taking up a lot of space. I found the blade will cut steel after cutting a 4mm spike embedded in a stick of timber. To the credit of the Total Tools guy when I bought it he made sure I was aware that it was a light saw. Not sure it would drive a dado.
Purchased in March 2021 at Total Tools for A$499.00.

Excellent value for your money
Hi guys and gals .
Im writing to all you Diy people out there i decided to upgrade my ryobi 10" table saw but first i read and watched many reviews before deciding on the evolution rage 5s folding table saw after reading and watching all the reviews i could find no reason why i should not buy this saw .

A good table saw with a few niggles
When I punted my Ozito table saw (see my review on that product), I was chasing an upgrade that was not only more mobile, but also provided a more accurate cut and was, overall, a quality upgrade.
After much deliberating and watching of YouTube reviews (mainly by UK-based reviewers), I settled on the Evolution Rage 5-S from UK based Evolution Power Tools. s what has been complained about universally in a wide range of reviews – the assembly instructions for the trolley are rubbish. The trolley isn’t as straight forward as a hand trolley as it has a folding, scissor action making it a bit tricky. There is a good YouTube review by an English chap who put together a far better how-to than the instructions that come with the saw. Once you’ve got the kerfuffle with the trolley assembly out of the way, you can attach the saw body, its peripherals, and start sawing. It comes with a rather ordinary mitre/crosscut sled, an excellent rip fence that locks at the front and back of the saw and is super accurate, a push stick and a transparent blade guard that has a dust vacuum hose that comes with it. When the hoses are all hooked up properly to a vacuum or dust extractor, it doesn’t leave much of a mess. Perhaps a bit on the table and that’s it. The best thing about the saw and to be honest, one of the primary selling points for me, was its mobility. That pain-in-the-butt-to-assemble trolley the saw mounts to collapses very easy and you can wheel it around the place like you would a hand trolley. This is a game changer for the home DIY guy like me as it meant I could take the saw to where I wanted to work, not the other way around. It also meant I could store it in an out of the way place, important if your workshop space is at a premium or you have to “share” your workshop with a car.Purchased in December 2021 at Total Tools Physical store for A$499.00.

I am a keen DIY. I did a fair bit of research before buying this tool. I don't think you can get another portable table saw with a Trolley and a sliding bench. Sure, if you are a tradie you may want something with a bigger motor and stronger skin. But, hey, you will probably spend more than twice the price. For me, this is as good as it gets.

Amazing for its price
This table saw breaks all the rules of you get what you pay for. I was amazed how good this saw is. Out of the box it was bang on accurate. For its price point it is unheard of to get a saw with a sliding top and such a large rip capacity. I would recommend this to anyone that can't afford to drop a grand on a saw.

Good saw, after adjustments
This retails (2019) for around $550 at Total Tools (only). In my opinion, it's better value than the Dewalt (nearly double the price) and Makita (around $100 more) table saws.
The whole saw and table fold up for easy storage, saving space, which is very useful. Use the short auxiliary fence at all times. YouTube video called "Safer ripping with a short rip fence on the tablesaw" explains why. The rip fence is easy to adjust for parallelism.

case, and 1mm is actually a big deviation). There are no instructions in the User Manual for blade alignment. I contacted the manufacturer who then supplied an "internal" document that explained how to adjust the blade. When I followed the instructions, I could see why it's not in the manual. Basically, it involves loosening 2 sets of hex bolts visible on the table surface on each end of the blade. Easy, right? No, it isn't. I had to use professional, long-handled Allen keys (hex keys) to loosen them. Ordinary Ikea-style hex keys would not work because the bolts were incredibly tight. I had to use all my strength (and I am a big guy) with a long handled hex key, and finally they came apart. The torque used to tighten these bolts at the factory is ridiculous. The hex bolts are made of soft, low quality Chinese steel. One of them stripped out while I was attempting to loosen it, in other words my hex key rounded out the inside of the bolt before it would loosen. I had to drill that bolt out (to be replaced). This is what happens with soft steel and over-tightening. I finally managed to line up the blade. The process of aligning the blade should be in the manual. And it should be easier. * The table extension wings are not flat versus the main table. Solution: the larger extension (right hand side of table) can be adjusted to flat with a long spirit level and a hex key to loosen the bolts that hold it on. Easy fix. Rage 5-S Blade to table adjustment
Ensure the machine is unplugged.
1, Remove the blade guard
2, remove the orange table insert
3, measure the gap between blade and the right-side T-Slot front and rear of blade.
4, loosen the 2 countersunk Hex screws at the rear of the blade first.
5, move the aluminium bracket to the left or right to make the blade parallel with the T-Slot.
6, if you cannot achieve the parallel with the T-Slot repeat on the front.
Thank you for the very prompt reply I will try this tomorrow I only purchased the saw yesterday and have assembled it today and trying to get it as accurate as possible I understand that compared to the better brands it is a cheap saw, but from what I researched it came up with a good report.

Delta table DIY Saw - good but too light and moves with bigger timber, brother also lost fence and other parts when borrowed.

If you are happy tuning the saw, then definitely buy it. I would buy it again. I'd like the Dewalt of course, but that is double the price almost.
