Have been using Finish for years but lately terrible results. Plastic doesn't melt even in hottest water. I will not be using or recommending this product again. What has happened to this once excellent dishwasher cleaner
Don't. Buy. This. Product.
This stuff legit doesn't clean my dishes at all and guests are horrified when we pass them a cup and it has dirty stuff in it. Never buying it again.

Disappointing
I used Finish Qantum dishwasher tablets for the first time. The plastic didn't dissolve when the tablet was placed in the dispenser so I put it on the floor of the dishwasher. Slightly better results but a large piece of plastic remained. I won't use this product again.

Quantum Finish brilliant results
I get brilliant results from Quantum Finish glasses sparkle, plates are squeeky clean, pots come out shining too. Those having problems I believe are not following the instructions on how to use their dishwasher properly. They are a dishwasher not a food disposal unit you must remove all food from items and rinse or wipe excessice build up or sauces and don't let things dry out. If the tablets are expose to water or high humidity, or if you dont keep the bag sealed you will find there are problems with them disolving. So again I say following the instructions for both dishwasher (that is working properly) and Quantum Finish and you will get fantastic results.
These won't clean your dishes unless you have them on a very hot wash
After assuming that my dishwasher filter was clogged or that there was something stuck in the rotating spray arms and wasting time dismantling and cleaning both I realised that it's the all - singing, all - dancing tablets that are to blame. In spite of claiming in the packaging that they function at low temperatures they simply do not. Dirty glasses, slimy plates, bits of food in the cutlery. Don't even try and put pans in your machine! "super charged", "superior clean and shine", "sparkle".. Don't believe a word of it.

Bad customer service
Really disappointed in this company. Worst customer service I have ever had. I have written to this company twice, they have ignored me. It has been 2 weeks and I haven't received a single email

SPARKLING GLASSES... GREAT PRODUCT
Well I have tried just about every dishwasher tablet available. The people complaining that their tablets are not dissolving do not have the water at a high enough temperature. With my old LG I had to put the wash on the highest setting which fixed the problem. My new Westinghouse washer is fine even on the eco setting. So it is not the tablet at fault.
Following the manufacturers advice I always use their Rinse Aid. The combination of the Quantum Max and their Rinse Aid gives me a sensational clean. The glasses in particular have that WOW sparkle and I gladly give this product a five star review.

terrible
I have had my dishwasher for 12 yrs and have never had a problem with tablets not dissolving, unless it was my fault ie dispenser didn't open properly.
However this quantum product is a disgrace it should be taken of the market as it simply doesn't dissolve and therefore work. The fact people are burning there mouth on the residue it should be taken off the market.
Need to go out and buy Cascade!
So frustrating. I've tried 2 washings with the Finish Max in 1. Both times, the capsule did not all dissolve in the dispenser, leaving my glassware filmy, dishes with a not fresh odor, and my silverware dirty!
The worst dishwasher tablet ever
I have paid high prices for the "best dishwashing tablet" Finish Quantum Max and it's the worst dishwashing experience of my life. What a terrible product. I have to run the washer Twice to even get the casing to dissolve allowing the contents to clean my dishes. Not worth the money. I had better results with other manufacturers.

Quantum is Rubbish
Never had an issue until the phosphates were removed from product. I have three different types of Quantum Finish and none of them dissolve.
Dishwasher is fine. Temperature is correct. Even technicians say that this product is now rubbish. I rinse the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher and still the tablet does not dissolve and the dishes are left with a film.
Not good enough!

leaves poisonous residue
hi all i suggest you do not use these products at all as they leave a residue on your dishes and glasses and cups that is poisonous. i recently used them and ended up getting poisoned by them and my mouth was chemically burned after having a drink from a cup washed with this product. i still have a blister inside my mouth and have no feeling in the end of my tongue and as well as that i cannot taste anything until it gets on the back half of my tongue due to my taste buds being dead on the front half of my tongue. my tongue still feels numb and...
Read more burnt on the tip and i had a strong chemical taste in my mouth for days even after rinsing my mouth for days. i contacted the company and asked to speak to someone in charge and even though they said they would get a manager to contact me they never did and still havent over a week later. i had to run the dishes through 3 full wash cycles with no detergent to try and remove the residue but it was still there and in the end had to scrub them by hand to get rid of the chemicals off my dishes. i will never ever use any product made by this company ever again and i would suggest you not use anything they make cause you could poison your children and family members by using their products. my dishwasher is brand new and i have not had this problem with other brands of tablets at all. cheersI have to agree with the person about the dishwasher
These dissolve each and everytime. I do not know if the other people are putting it wet or if it's their machine but these work. If it didnt work in the dispensor draw, they would've had the insight to throw it in the utilities tray or the bottom of the washer.
As for the cleaning performance we are happy. We previously tried the abysmal aldi ones that left grit and the performance wasn't stellar and the fairy which had an overwhelming stench of pure lemon.
These strike a nice equilibrium between the two. Everything comes out clean in a 1:30 wash and the smell isn't to offending that you require the run of the machine an additional 3 times to get the smell out (looking at you fairy)
Perfect.
I'm just laughing at all the negative review from people saying"it's not my dishwasher" and blah blah blah. It IS your dishwasher at fault here. I have a 2 year old Maytag and the tablet dissolve completely each and every time. Pro tip; use hot water lol.
Disappointed
I have rewashed so many loads of plates as i have found that finish powerball quantum max does not release properly into the wash cycle, it seems to stick.... it is an expensive product and its cost us so much more in extra water use. I will not longer purchase this product. Our dishwasher is 1 year old Asko and is in perfect working order.
Problem with gelatin like casing
The gelatin like outer casing of your pallet is causing it to stick in the dispenser. This means it does not disperse into the wash which defeats the whole purpose. This happens even though I ensure my hands are dry when handling the pallet and also I dry and wipe out the dispenser before inserting the pallet. I'm currently looking for another brand which does not employ this sticky outer casing. I see from these reviews this is a common complaint. Bring back the original pallets which didn't stick

Wrapping doesn't dissolve
Every time we use this tablet, we have to pray to God to dissolve the wrapping. If we were naughty, our prayers will not be answered and we need to wash them all over again.
I am not sure if it is God or the Finish tablet... I have to choose between one of them...
Finish dishwasher tablets don't dissolve
The new tablets don't dissolve and we are left with unclean dishes and have to put through twice....never had a problem before but now they are crap and now we have to find something else

Very, very disappointed, Jen!
We recently bought Quantum Max Powerball Lemon Sparkle detergent for the first time from our local Coles supermarket. We have been trying this product for four weeks now, but we are very disappointed in it. This is because the wrapping doesn't dissolve properly, so most of the detergent remains stuck in the open detergent dispenser. What's more, the glasswear is cloudy even with rinse aid added. We use a Bosch dishwasher on the very effective automatic wash cycle with the water temperature at 60 C. We have used other detergents very effectively on the same cycle. I do not recommend this product. Not happy, Jen!
Waste of money
We had to clean our dishwasher with cleaner as the normal finish ones weren't dissolving . Once we did that happened they dissolved! I don't think we need to buy the expensive ones. Dishwasher cleaner is important...as well as rinse aid and standard tablets.

No better than standard Finish tablets
Doesn't work as well as standard Finish tablets, which are ok performers, not great, but ok. Don't waste your time or money on the more expensive quantum tablets because of the slick marketing, I was sucked in to try this product but never again.
Solid Performer
Check out the Choice Magazine results for disherwasher tablets. They put the Finish Powerball Quantum Max Dishwashing Tablets With Baking Soda in the top 3.
I've always had solid results. Having said that, I also rinse my things properly before putting them through the dishwasher. I have a Bosch machine, and do find a sub-standard wash when using other tablet detergent brands.
