Have tried New Finish Quantum Max Shine & Protect on three separate occasions, I have a Miele dishwasher that has always given a perfect wash, found with these tablets nothing comes out clean and is left with streaks on everything. My tea cups generally come out crystal clean but with this product they don't even look like they have been washed. Very dissatisfied

I have a Miele dishwasher and have always used finish products as they are recommended by the manufacturer. I recently purchased finish powerball quantummax and found that they do not expel the tablets from the compartment and I have also found them to leak and all clump together. Upon contacting Customer Service, I was told the obvious not to put water on them and close the pack. They claimed that I must not have closed the pack and put the fault back onto me saying that as I lived in a semi tropical climate they could not do anything about it...

Thick plastic cover melts and sticks on dispenser. It never dissolves due to too thick plastic wrapper. I don't have a cheap old dishwasher. I am using brand new $1000 LG dishwasher.

I did try placing tablet at bottom of the dishwasher but didn't receive any better result than Aldi tablets. I did receive a sample of Fairy All in One Lemon Dishwasher Tablets and it provided stunning clean.

I am clearing this rubbish lot from Finish and then go an look for Fairy.

Disappointed..

I don't understand the bad reviews. Must be the dishwashers or timing. I've tried all the cheaper brands, fairy, morning fresh etc and they never clean my dishes like this. I prefer the powerball one out of all. It doesn't fit in the dispenser, so I put it on the bottom and always dissolves. I buy in bulk when on special. I don't buy another brand anymore cause I know it will work first time, everytime! 60 minutes wash.

I've tried several cheaper brands but the extra cost of Finish is well worth it. It never fails to produce a first-rate wash. You can always look for cheap bulk buys online to save on typical supermarket prices. But it is essential to use rinse aid; even a cheap brand will do. Any detergent will leave streaks and less than shiny glasses if there is no rinse aid in your dishwasher.

I switched to Finish after using Home Brand detergent for years and haven't looked back. It gives a far superior clean. It isnt the cheapest around, but there are plenty of places that sell it such as The Reject Shop and online stores like Groceryrun.

The Home Brand detergent would leave my glasses hazy, Finish leaves them perfect. I recommended this to others and they have all changed after seeing the results.

Tip: If it sticks in the soap holder on the door, just place it on the bottom of the dishwasher. I had it get stuck in the door a few times, but have never had a problem since putting it on the floor.

I think Finish does the best job of any detergents I've tried. I never have issues with the tablets sticking in the dispenser and I've been using Quantum for about 2 years or so.

NO IT'S NOT YOUR DISHWASHER !! It's the faulty rubbish the makers of Quantum acknowledge is a problem but rufuse to rectify. Even with a receipt the store will not refund because they cannot as reps can not bring back these products nor will they allow exchange for a different one.When you ring the company they will tell you it is your dishwasher which it is not.They will suggest you put the tablet on the floor of the machine instead of the dispenser which means the soap action goes down the drain in the first rinse. I have been reading all the bad reviews and have to say I love this product. I had an old dishwasher that tablets were never disolved properly and dishes were left dirty but 5 years ago bought a SMEG in Jan sales and it is fantastic - I would never go back to another brand. We run it nearly every night so it gets a lot of use.

Most times the tablets do not dissolve properly and a lot of the dishes are left dirty. There is usually a half dissolved tablet lying somewhere in the machine.
Not good enough.

First time user of these tablets and out of a 20 pack about 5 have not dissolved hardly at all. Have followed all of directions to close up pack and keep in dry cool place. I won't be using again.

I am using Finish Classic tablets and they are inconsistent when it comes to dissolving. A half dissolved tablet is left in the dishwasher at the end of a load. This worries me in case detergent is left on the dishes. I will try running the hot water tap at the kitchen sink first as recommended.

After many years of using Finish Tablets and Finish Rinse Aid I have changed to another Product(Fairy Platinum All in One).
Reason for change is that dishes were not coming out clean.The new product results in much cleaner and sparkling result on all glassware,crockery and cutlery.

I usually use a commercial grade powder and always had pretty average looking water marked cups and dishwasher that looked like it needed de-scaling every month of so, I also used vinegar for the rinse aid.
Partner bought the quantum tablets and the finish rinse aid for me a fortnight ago, and I'm surprised by the results but at the same time questioning if I will be buying the products for a second time.
I knew from the start that the wrappers were known to be difficult to dissolve, don't bother putting them in the powder dispenser or using ...

Just moved into a house with my first dishwasher and the next week recieved these in a sample box from redpawpaw so thought it was a good sign..they worked fantastic and will purchase them next shopping day..thank you and I will be happy torecompend this product to family and friends..

How many people know that if your anaplyaxic to citrus you cannot use any finish products that contain citrus products.. My daughter is the worst case scenario . Finish doesn't make many products that don't contain citrus . I can use the old style finish dishwasher product, but no new products. I've just seen a new hand washing detergent out. Won't be using it at my house u

I am thoroughly impressed by the finish quantum. Everything comes out so clean and sparkling, even silverplated cutlery and my 10 year old saucepans look like new; likewise my cutlery! I think having a new dishwasher helps as my ten yr old one didn't heat sufficiently to dissolve any tablets.

Bit expensive but worth it

I am glad I have found a place to write about this. Not sure if they have changed formula but I have tried several Finish products hoping to solve the issue but the tablets often do not dissolve properly and I have to rewash even simple things like plates, bowls, cups - frustrating and so time wasting.

I usually buy the old style Finish product for my dishwasher and I was quite happy with that. I asked another family member to buy some Finish for me since I was busy and they were going to the shops. They bought back the Quantum finish powerball. I have tried this 3 times and each time I had trouble. If I can find a receipt, maybe I can get a refund because they are a horrible product. I love them! I've never had an issue with tablets not dissolving. My glasses are always really nice and clean at the end of the cycle. Its great that they're a main brand because that means you can often do what I did and buy them at crazyclarke's/reject shop etc. as apposed to safeway.. you can save up to $12!!!

I have tried this product and am incredibly disappointed. I am quite happy to spend money on a good product but these are a total waste, I really feel I have been ripped off. Did the makers of this product actually test them at all? Out of a full box I would be lucky to have had 4 that actually worked, the rest get stuck to the tablet holder. The company should withdraw the product immediately and make a public apology for their incompetence!!

So disappointed they were horrible, they don't dissolve no matter where i put them in the dishwasher and the dishes' are still soapy when the cycle is finished.
I could not fine any phone number on the pack or online to complain.

I bought a pack of 40 powerball's and over half were stuck together, if you tried to pry them apart the sacks ripped. I would complain direct to the company but the only place I found to complain to was the UK. Very sad and off putting and this was enough that I will probably not purchase them again as I found no way to let the company know of this issue

unfortunately I am not as impressed.. I find these stick to the holder of my dishwasher and do not disolve I prefer the wrapt ones... as they seem to be smaller and do the job just as effectively..I have no complaints with any of the other Finish products... this does not happen all the time but enough now to no longer purchase
