This is good product.

Although, 2nd year, milk & egg were frozen after moved home. The fridge was under warranty within 3 years. After fixed, using until now. I can't believe it is 16 years old.
Inside design is smart temperature and good storage. Outside is so slim and smart out look. That moment, bottom mount wasn't popular. Not much choice.
F & P have done a good job.
My fridge is the best and excellent except a little bit noisy. It locate in kitchen. It is okay.

Purchased in April 2021 at e&s for A$1,299.00.

Great buy

Perfect sized fridge for a small family.
Various compartments makes squeezing any item with ease with plenty of space to spare.
Temperature is consistent throughout freezer though do find top compartment in fridge to be coldest and sometimes freezes items so have fridge temperature on lowest setting but still very good cooling through lower compartments.
Quiet, and efficient in energy consumption.
Easily cleaned as all compartments and parts are removable.
Glass shelves are of great quality.

NO COLD WATER

Very disappointed to find out after our fridge was installed the water is tepid at best!!! Advertised as cold water what rot. Never purchasing
F& P products again! Paid top dollar for nothing :(

Quiet and roomy

published

Had the fridge for 4 weeks. VERY happy. No noise. was concerned about this as lots of reviews complain about it....mine is totally quiet. Lots of shelf space. Spacious crispers keep veges fresh. The freezer drawers are large. make sure you push doors closed properly. Serial number is on side panel at back, low down, so make sure you record this b4 the fridge is pushed into place. You need it for the warranty. So far I love my fridge.
shelf layout and spacious. freezer below. very quiet.
the handle should be a bit higher as the space in the toppart of the handle is a bit narrow.

Never really been happy with it

published

E442B: now 8 years old. has always been sporadically noisy as thermostat adjusts and makes sounds as if ice is dropping within.when set on recommended temp for cold foods, leafy vegies and fruit freeze. cracks appeared in shelves not long after purchase and have finally broken so cannot be repaired again. will use this fridge till it gives up the ghost and will buy replacement shelves. Wouldn't buy another FP product.

This should not be happening, but probably because you live outside a service area, it is a problem to get a serviceman to your door, do any other manufacturers service your area???

reasonable fridge

bought february 2011 for $1370. has been working well so far. have noticed a decrease in electricity bill. former fridge was a f&p 514 litre which lasted 15 years before getting ice build up. Nice looker in white it makes noises like someone with a digestive problem but are not too intrusive.vegies don't seem to last long in the crispers - there are humidity control slides to help. freezer is good with sliding drawers. we watch what we buy now because big items or leftovers do not fit in the freezer but there is lots of room for smaller stuff.a family would need more space but its good for the 2 of us.
compact, nice design, no wasted space, sturdy shelving
egg holders only hold 10 eggs so have 2 over.

I have found this to be an excellent fridge. One of the best features is that it beeps when you leave a door of the fridge or freezer open so you know to go back and close it. I also like the wine rack that it comes with, and it has egg compartments to fit 20 eggs. I am happy with this model.
My fridge was bought three years ago, and I’ve had no problems with it. Has the fridge up top, which is where you access it most, and the freezer lower down. This means you don’t need to bend down to get to what it usually in the bottom of a fridge (eg. fruit and vegetable compartments).
I have had no problems with this model

Sold as Stainless Steel "look" Paid as if Stainless Steel, got it home and it is aluminium and so soft any slight bump and it dented, Wife went totally nuts over the finger prints overall not a good experience as with other F and P products I have purchased
Looks nice, upside down design is good, adjustable shelving good.
Bottom door shelf drags on interior holding door open, Butter storage doors fall off, cooling fans fail, vegetable crisper should be called soggy vegy drawer. Finally power board fails and cyclic defrost element melts inside of fridge cabinet

Disgraceful. A bloody expensive product that instead of surprising a delighting ends up disappointing and frustrating. youre too scared to open the fridge in case it starts the buzzing noise
looks nice
be prepared for the buzzing. be prepared to sit around waiting for a repairman to come fix your brand new fridge !!!

The fridge has survived two moves and a renovation and done everything well. We haven't had a fault in two years and have recommended to others who have bought one and are equally happy.
Had this fridge about 2 years now. Love the compact design of the filtered cold water. Does everything it should and has performed very well for us. Plenty of storage and space for fruit & veg, cheese, dairy etc. Love the ice maker and freezer drawers.
Not much to dislike, it's not big enough for a larger family, we will need to upgrade in a few years once kids have come along.

We've had this for around six months and not had a problem. We love the fridge and F&P customer support has actually been more than helpful. We'd purchased a factory second with a few scratches for $850. The water filtration kit was not included with our purchase and F&P were more than happy to send one out for free. It looks great, our food is keeping really well and we love the water and ice functionality at the price we paid. Ours runs whisper quiet and all works as it should so we're extremely happy with our purchase for the price we paid.
Well thought out design, manage to fit a lot in for a fridge of this capacity. Looks great and keeps food fresh.
Nothing yet.

Frankly, Fisher & Paykel need their a$$es kicked. Customer service is a joke; absolutely rude and inefficient. Their staff are very well trained in passing the buck and that's about all.
Very functional and well-designed.
An absolute lemon. The noise was unbearable from day one - enough to wake us in the night!. Given the royal runaround by Fisher & Paykel "customer service" for days on end. Would NEVER buy anything from them again. Refused to replace fridge no matter what we said. Harvey Norman finally relented and allowed us to swap it for a Westinghouse.

What is the fuel economy of a car, it varies depending on how its used.
Putting hot food in the fridge will increase the power consumption, as will leaving the fridge/ freezer door open (esp on a hot day.)

Sorry, I don't know.

I'm chasing same mate. Open the freezer and look around, there is a sticker: Defrost (W) is 322. Reckon that is the most power it will run at. However, doesn't tell us surge/peak required at startup. That's what we need to know.
Don't think I can do it off batteries (even though high capacity deep cycle industrial).
Reckon you may have luck with 2000W or above gennie so long as it's "pure sinewave"

Open the freezer door, on the kick strip by your toes you will see a silver serial plate with the model and serial number. Serial number is comprised of 3 letters and 6 numbers.
