Quiet & energy efficient!
This model is compact & easy to use. It's very quiet, easy to keep clean & the automatic function saves on our power bills. It compliments our front loader Fisher & Paykel nicely, they make an attractive & energy saving pair. I highly recommend them for a medium sized family, you'll never look back.

Fantastic dryer
We bought this dryer this winter to complement our washing machine and it was well worth it. I really like how quiet it is and it doesn't cause condensation in the laundry.
It simply self explanatory to use. The mod cons are intelligent provides you with multiple settings and functions. I especially like how it notifies me if the water tank is filled up and if the lint section needs cleaning if I've missed it.

Fantastic dryer, Still can’t get the sheets setting right
Had this dryer for a month now and it’s fantastic . This was a replacement for the f&p areo xl condenser dryer .... probably the worst dryer we have owned that failed in a major way after 3 and a half years resulting in a near fire situation in the laundry. If it wasn’t for the fact we had a f&p front loader with the stacking kit we may have chosen a different brand . Over all we have had a positive experience except for one thing! The areo xl had no reversing function which made drying sheets almost impossible as they roll up into a ball. F&p ...Read more
couldn’t really care less after talking to them and the retailer. My previous to this was an Electrolux which had no problem reversing the drum 50 / 50 % of the time . Now this is the key! We asked the retailer if this model had a reversing drum and they checked and said yes so we went for it. On drying our first sheets load ( 1 flat sheet 1 doona cover and 2 pillowcase covers ) we discovered what can only be described as a pure work of artificial intelligence genius. This machine had wrapped the items into an origami ball that took my wife and I 10 minutes to unwrap. We were so amazed at the skill this machine displayed I just wished we had recorded the event as no one would probably believe us! Anyhow after watching the action on the next cycle it’s speed has increased over the last unit and the reverse drum function turns back about 3 rotations in ten minutes !!! Attention fisher and pykel!! Reverse fuction needs to be 50/50 both directions .... otherwise it’s absolutly pointless!! Whoever thought reversing the drum 3 times then running the other way for 10 minutes obviously has never had a dryer or looked at what the compitition is doing ..... sighSimilar opinion? Great product
love my dryer, it has so many settings, something for any situation.
the water capture area is fabulous, such a change from putting a hose out a window! It is easy to empty and only takes a few seconds.
plus, it looks attractive and matches in nicely with my washing machine.

Fantastic Product. Owned Over a Year - Not a Single Problem.
We bought this dryer over a year ago to replace out 16 year old dryer that had finally died.
This dryer is fantastic and has some amazing features, we cannot recommend it highly enough. The fact that all moisture is collected is the best moisture, no more fogged up laundry window and wet walls.

Works really well and energy efficient
When i first purchased the dryer i thought it would make my energy bill sky rocket, however energy bill has only increased by about $20 per quater and during winter i used the dryer frequently. It is a quiet machine and works efficiently, clothes always come out dry and never damp.

Love it, love it, love it
Having used this product for over 3 weeks, I can honestly state that it is a wonderful product. It dries my towels, sheets, everyday clothes perfectly. And the amount of water I empty out of the cartridge after every load is a lot. So, instead of that water creating mould-making steam in my laundry, I have a much cleaner solution. I save money in energy - the appliance is rated at 6 stars, and I no longer have to turn on the fan and open the window. And my clothes come out fresh, and does not take that much longer than my old vented dryer,...Read more
and I do not have a hot laundry room in Summer. I would not hesitate in recommending this product for the benefits it provides - energy efficiency, and no more mould patches in the laundry. And it seems to be kinder on the clothes too.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Expected better for the price.
I’ve had this dryer for around 6 months now and had a few problems with it already.
1. The dryer comes with a shoe drying rack, which I have given up on trying as the dryer keeps telling me to “fit rack” even though it’s already in and fitted properly. It takes at least a dozen goes before the dryer realises the rack is already there! I contacted customer support about the shoe rack, only to be stuck with someone who had no idea what I was talking about. I’m going to contact them again about the other problems, hopefully I’ll get to talk to...Read more
someone who has some idea about the products they’re supporting. 2. The power button has started playing up, sometimes I have to press it several times for it to work. 3. When the dryer first starts, it makes an awful squealing noise. It does this for a minute or so then stops. The only positive thing about this dryer is that it dries clothes! But so do $300 dryers. At $1500 this dryer is of poor quality and very disappointing.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
Low power consumption, quiet operation, drum light is useful, no condensation in laundry, no vent needed.
I love this dryer. So little noise, no moisture in the air, and so cheap to run. I couldn't ask for better. I highly recommend this dryer to anyone considering buying one. All good

Super quiet
Easily the quietest dryer I've owned. Very easy to use and the buttons are light to touch. Great feature is that it's sensor dry so no over use and unwanted high electric bills. My daughter uses the shoe rack for drying her shoes regularly and says it's great. Absolutely great value for money.

Excellent & Efficient Clothes Dryer
We checked out All Brands & settled on Fisher & Paykel which we Purchased from The Good Guys. The Dryer has ticked All of the Requirement Boxes that we were looking for to Replace an Old Hoover Dryer. Not Only is this Dryer very efficient in Electricity consumption, it is also very efficient in its Drying Cycle.

Great product
Bought this with a matching washer for stacking. The correct stacking kit was $120 which I thought was expensive for what it is and they should have a deal that if you buy both the stacking kit is either free or at least at a discounted price. The product itself is great!

This is great
This dryer was pretty cheap from the Good Guys. It has a dial and you select how long you want it to run, rather than going until the clothes are dry and stopping automatically, so you can't just put it on and wait for it to finish, you have to guess how long it will take to dry the clothes. It works well and generally I can guess how long to put it on for. The lint does not all go in the lint catcher though, and is often on the outside of the catcher for some reason - not a lot and it does still stick to the catcher so comes out ok.

NO condensation issues
Great purchase and very quiet and efficient with little noise and wouldn't recommend any other dryer, particularly good with heavy duty items and love the fact that there is no condensation on the walls and windows of the laundry especially in the cold conditions of winter time, price is expensive but they are it looks great next to the underbench matching washing machine too.

Best for rainy winter season
I bought this item to be used for rainy days in winter. I was so amazed because this is not only useful during those times but all the time when I needed to get things done.
This item is very helpful. It really serves its purpose, not noisy when used and did not give me headache in my electricity bill, it's energy efficient.

Love It
Turns itself off when done.
No moisture condensation.
Bad Points−
Takes time to getting used to longer drying times as opposed to vented dryers.
Teenager daughter disappointed that the clothes are not warm after drying.. This is also a good point.
winkle free function which is awesome too
absolutely love it

This is good. Highly recommended.
Nice capacity and cheap to run apparently. I find an iron still required for my clothes but maybe I'm fussy. Nice long cord to dispose of water and easy clean filter. Nice looking unit and control are easy although adding minutes on fly like a microwave would be nice. The wife is happy and me and the kids have clothes, that's the main thing! This is my first item bought it in new year and I am very happy.

What is the matching washer for this dryer? FP customer service are horrendous. Not only do they have no clue what they are doing but think this is a technical matter. Seriously no one in technical support even answers calls.

It’s the Washsmart WH8560P2. I detest F&P and will never ever use them again. They also don’t answer my emails as my bedding still getting tied in knots.

Does the dryer stop automatically when it been set on everyday cycle? I did an everyday cycle and towel cycle, both were still going after 2-3 hours. I had to manually stop the dryer and find out that all the clothes and towels are already completely dry. But why the dryer does not stop itself even when all the contents are totally dry? we talking about going on long long time.

you might find that you've got the 'wrinkle free' button on. It is basically giving everything a shuffle to make sure nothing settles and creases. If this button is in the 'on' position, turn it off and you should find it fixes your issue. The button is next to the Dry Temp buttons.
Yes mine does. It’s it the best dryer I’ve had but need to learn the cycles properly.

We bought a new Fisher & Paykel washing machine 20 years ago. We had 3 power boards replaced while under warranty (within 3 years) the 4th time the power board needed replacing when it was out of warranty we bought a new washing machine. At the time we were told Fisher & Paykel washing machines do not suit a humid/tropical environment such as Cairns where we live. Has Fisher & Paykel's technology changed in the last 20 years to make them more resilient/suitable to a tropical environment? I have just purchased Model *WH7560J3 but hasn't been picked up yet so most probably would get a credit towards a different washing machine. Any feedback is welcome!!
Cheers Meg
