This is perfect
The sizing of the fridge is really good, it just fit my new kitchen. Buying this brand as i feel like this a reliable brand and it did not disappoint me. The temperature is quite consistent and reliable. It is not noisy as well, would recommend this to everyone with a small kitchen
Purchased in June 2021.

Love it
I really like the sizing of the fridge as this fridge just fit my kitchen! It is in a good temperature, good space, worked great
Love the drawer of putting veggies and fruit, it is super easy to see what’s inside of the drawer and it is pretty easy to open the drawer
I also like the design of it, very neat and tidy
It is easy to open and close the fridge
Purchased in September 2021.

Fridge of my dreams!
I love this fridge. It’s so deep and well thought out space wise - much better than my old fridge. Yet still small enough to fit in a small apartment fridge space. It’s great having the plumbed in cold water - we drink so much more water everyday now than we used to. And the automatic ice maker is going to be a lifesaver in the summer months. Really happy with my purchase.

Love it
I loveeeee my fridge. 3 years on and it still looks brand new. all functions work perfectly. Water filter and ice maker are great. Space is great, as are storage areas (shelves, trays, etc). Freezer is great with small and large drawers. Easy to adjust temperature in fridge or turn on/off bottle chill or ice maker. Would by 10 more if I needed it.

Super good
This is one of the best fridges I've ever used. It is very suitable for fresh produce, and can keep milk for a longer time, which can effectively delay the automatic food maturation process. The food is in a very good temperature state throughout the process, so that its heat preservation effect is better, food nutrition is preserved, and fresh food lasts longer. Very convenient and fast. It's perfect for small kitchens like ours. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Great fridge, good storage
This fridge is well designed and has a good amount of fridge and freezer storage space. It does nto use as much electricity as other fridges and is economical to run. It is quiet when running. stainless steel marks easily so requires constant wiping. take care when relocatign as the firdge door dents easily.

Fridge temp keeps changing
Hard to clean, has a very loud hum at night. The shelves arealso really hard to clean, the feet are just plastic screw on and look cheap.7 and the doors mark really easily.
I get fed up of wiping finger prints from all over the doors.
I would rather have the shiny stainless steel model.

Great fridge
Love this fridge. Well designed compartments in both the fridge and freezer sections. Love that we can have a water and ice function in such a compact fridge - this was a must have but can be difficult to find in a smaller fridge. Quite expensive but worth it. Very happy with our purchase.

Solid fridge, this is really a 4.5 star rating
1 month into use
Pros:
- Lots of volume, good temp control in compartments.
- Lots of door space for milk, eggs etc
- Quiet
- Active Smart Tech
- Useful alarm and interior controls
- Freezer draw out trays are good, the top fridge idea is worthwhile.

- Came really unbalanced. Not sure why. I had to stack some papers on the left side to get it level and prevent it wobbling around. - More volume in freezer would be nice but not a big deal Overall: Worth the buySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very helpful, very reasonable.
Well designed, maintains a good temperature in all compartments, especially well designed with the ability to switch between fruit and vegetable drawers, according to the moisture levels.
Doesn't have any whiz-bang ice creators or anything, which just take up more space. So lots of shelf space in the door which is helpful.
The freezer on the bottom is slide out like a drawer, which sometimes makes it hard to access all areas, but we got used to it in the end.

Ideal for family of four
Temperature and storage wise it is well designed, but I think the storage for bottom freezer with two draws only is hard to manage all the frozen products.
I have been using it for around ten years now but still maintain to keep it quiet and no frost which I had problems with previous fridge getting frosted every now and then.

its so good
I am not so happy with the fridge. It kept breaking and made that high pitch noises every time we open the door. However, the space is good in the top mount but the freezer is not well designed. it could have been better with the ice trays because every time we fill up trays the water spills.

Good reliable workhorse.
This was a replacement of earlier model to the same specs that lasted 18 years. So far this is repeating the good service.
Much quieter than I expected from the reviews. Much improved lighting inside. Keeps temperature steady as set. Electrically was one of the most efficient on the market and that pleases the hip pocket.

So far, so good
Loving the Fisher & Paykel E442BRXFDU5 so far...though we have only had it for under a week. This model has a plumbed water dispenser and ice maker. They both seem to be functioning well, once all air was cleared out of the system.
The fridge itself is a lovely design - it knocks our old one out of the park! The interior lighting is lovely and bright, it's very easy to see what you have in there. One of the most influential factors of purchasing this fridge over others was the fact that it has so many options with shelving - each shelf can b...Read more
e adjusted to a different height with rungs every few centimetres, which makes it very convenient for our family. The crisper drawers are great, they slide in and out with ease and I love the fact that the humidity can be adjusted for each side. The freezer is of good functionality too - the only downside I can see is the flat draw, I can't really imagine what I'll ever use that for (maybe freezer blocks or ice packs), we don't have too many flat items for freezing and it does seem to take up a reasonable amount of space that perhaps could have added to the depth of the drawer. It's not a problem for us, as we have a stand alone freezer as well, but this might be an issue for family's that really need that extra freezer space. One thing to mention is the exterior door handles - the position of our fridge in the kitchen is against a wall, and we had to go with the option for the doors to open to the right, towards open space, otherwise the large handles would have stopped the doors from opening past 90degrees and we would not have had full access to the crisper drawer. Just something to be mindful of.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Thrilled to back teeth.
It is an amazing fridge. I hadn't had a new one for over 12 years, it was also Fisher & Paykel so was sure I would get good value for money.
I had no idea just how advanced they are now.
Having never had a bottom freezer before it took a bit of getting used to. Now I am really happy with it. Yes, it keeps the food in great condition and everything that is frozen stays that way. It has touch temperature control, no more knobs to accidentally knock.
It holds a lot more than I thought it was going to.
The fridge compartment is more spacious t...Read more

good fridge
We had a stainless steel version of it, it worked great, nothing really stands out, but it's a great appliance, our old one now are in our rental unit, still performing well, and that one is a second hand one. For a big appliance, I am definitely looking for reliance. I can't agree on this brand's washing machine, but for fridges it's great.

Reliable good unit
Lot of room to store foods hopefully need to careful where to put fresh food as the top level is much cooler than the bottom one and may cause the food freeze a little bit (I avoid this problem by putting the food in plastic container). Also my unit have the handle on the left hand size (not on the right as shown in the picture, possible because my one is older unit)
So far the unit is working strongly and hopefully it will have the same life span as my previous Fisher & Paykel fridge it replaced (last one was used more than 10 years)

E 442B Fridge Noise
My new fridge is also extremely noisy, 24/7. It is like having a fish tank in the room with the air filter bubbling away constantly. I am told it is the compressor pushing gas through the pipes and the serviceman told me to turn on the radio to drown out the noise!! F&P technician says all fridges make a lot of noise these days but I do not believe that at all. Will never buy another F&P appliance.

So far mostly good.
My fridge with this model number has the handles on the left (reverse of that shown in the picture) and it has a flitered chilled water dispenser through the door (and an automatic ice cube maker using the filtered water).
The fridge is quiet, a faint hum that I tuned out entirely after a few days. Crispers are larger than they seem and the humidity settings on them work well. Stainless steel exterior surface wipes clean effortlessly with a damp kitchen sponge. I love having the drawers in the bottom mount freezer.
I haven't had the fr...Read more
idge plumbed in yet - will be done in a couple of months when I get my kitchen replaced, so I will come back then to review the water filtration and dispensing and the automatic ice cube maker. My one criticism so far of the fridge is that while the fridge is usable without being plumbed in, making ice cubes manually in trays in the freezer is awkward. There is nowhere in the freezer drawers to secure ice cube trays without them spilling over. It's a bit of a nuisance now while I wait for the plumbing job. And could become a nuisance in future if ever the automatic ice cube maker breaks down or if the water filters become unavailable or too expensive or difficult to keep replacing.Similar opinion? Never imagined I'd be excited about a fridge!
I had trouble getting a fridge that opened to the left and was despairing BUT am so glad I found this one as the door was able to be re-mounted. It's a dream to care for - and when you've got better things to do, who wants extra work? It runs soooo silently (& I even discovered I can control that annoying - but functional - warning beep, when the door is left open. How good is that?)
Freezer drawers are very practical and much easier to access than I'd initially thought. There's even a cute slimline ice block tray so you don't need to ...Read more
pull open one of the main freezer drawers. Smart thinking! Lots of room and plenty of options to move shelves around, which I particularly like. For example, at Christmas I needed space for tall dessert bowls and extra space for bottles of bubbly. Not an issue......just switched some shelving and problem solved! Never imagined I'd be excited about a fridge but there you have it! You can tell I couldn't be happier with my F&P. :)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
