Hi Tony C did you discover what this error meant?
My oven is giving me the same error after a self clean and not heating

Fisher and Paykel refused to tell me what the error meant and told me to call an oven repairer. The upshot is the oven can’t handle the pyro feature, it fried the control board and has cost me $700 to fix. Considering this is the first time in 4 years I used the function, not what I expected. The previous oven lasted 18 years without a problem but doesn’t make an 80 cm oven any more.

I was worried you were going to say that.....
So the oven is awesome, just don't use the self-cleaning function otherwise it craps itself....awesome.
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.

Has anyone else had Trouble with baking burning on outside but still uncooked in the middle? My daughter and I have wasted many batches of biscuits and cakes trying to get in right ... It seems the minute your back is turned, it burns! Have tried setting it way lower and watching like a hawk .... But Surely a modern oven shouldn't be this temperamental? Very dissapointing .... Tho does cook a lovely roast and potatoes like a dream!

Hi there, has the leak been fixed? Has anyone else experienced this problem? We are tossing up between this 76cm oven, the F&P 90cm oven (OB9S9MEPX3), and the Electrolux 90cm oven (EVEP916SB). Quite drawn to the size and specs of the 76cm F&P oven but nervous about this leaking issue!

We have never had a leak but the fan stays on over an hour after the oven is off and it's quite loud.

Where/ why does it leaking water. I was considering buying this oven! Still not happy?

Hi Janine, the oven has a design flaw. That's right it has not been designed to standard. The moisture condenses in the oven then leaks out the seals of the front door. And the water leak is significant. It is not just drops. Fisher and Paykel recognise this design FAULT, and have been working on a solution but they have not been able to fix it yet. Their last solution was a special tray to put on the bottom section of the oven. However this did not fix the solution so it still leaks. I am very disappointed that this oven is still being sold even though they know about the design fault and that the oven leaks water. Can you believe it? I cant. We have just been told to wait for the next attempt to fix the oven but we have to wait until January 2017. So they expect us to put up this this problem over Christmas. Can you believe it! Their service is HOPELESS and SLOW. I would highly recommend that you do NOT buy this oven and spread the news about such POOR QUALITY and POOR SERVICE. Thanks for your question too. Kind regards, Julie.
