Sly way to earn money with no option online to cancel membership
I have never used their service and just registeres thinking will use it someday. 2 yeara down the line I see 2 invoices as memebership fee of 197$ and no way to cancel the membership online. This is a very sly way to earn money from people. Donot recommend for these reasons unless you are a very alert person and read through all terms and conditions thoroughly.

Don’t Provide Credit Card
try for yourself, search cancel membership Flexicar, see if there is anything.
You guess it right, nothing on their App to do that too!
I got charged for 3 years for a suspended account!
Question for FlexiCar’s management, how can you charge an annual fee for a suspended account for 4 years? That’s sort of things get you into jail!

Poor product and experience overall
Flexicar’s app and website log in doesn’t work. They asked me to send in screen shots of app and website error screens and then took seven days to get back to me, which forced me to spend eons on the phone to customer service determining what cars in the area were available and for how long. Their email to me lacked an technical insight as to why I couldn’t use their website log in or app. The smaller cars in my area that I wanted to book were unavailable due to servicing but they are still parked on the street. I’m going to GoGet.

The worst customer service I have ever endured - insulting and degrading experience.
Mis-charged by thousands for almost a YEAR due to administrative errors & refused compensation. A loyal customer for over 5 years. Incompetent & has no conscience - Flexicar is never to be trusted.

I would give a negative star if I could
Incredibly bad service. I have been trying to set up my account for three weeks now and keep being put through another step in the process at a snails pace. Incredibly poor customer service. Nothing flexible about it. And no one can seem to resolve anything over the phone without telling me to write an email.

Flexicar Ripped Me Off For $1 136.51
Hey everybody, check this out. I just got ripped off by Hertz/Flexicar to the tune of $1 136.51 for two small dents in the rear bumper bar, which they haven't even bothered to repair. Took the money 12 hours before sending the bill. No detail, no quotes, A complete scam. Steal a car before hiring from these thieves.

Not recommended.
A dishonest company with rude staff and no interest in listening to their customers. I've been a loyal member for over a year and was treated with a huge amount of disrespect after I was involved in an accident where I was at fault. In short - I was happy to pay the excess but Flexicar failed to provide proper communications and then sent my file to a debt collector (for the entire amount, not just the excess). When I called to discuss, the staff would not even try to help me resolve the situation. I'll be terminating my relationship with this company and do not recommend them to others.

Terrible customer service / SCAMMMMM CREDIT ROLLOVER / WORST EXPERIENCE.
I call them to solve my flexi car account problem and they took it as a JOKE!!!
They didn't have any ability to solve customer problem especially when you re in hurry and urgent.
They will just put you on hold until forever. Never get back to you even you send them an email.
Never pay them credit in advance for credit rollover. They will suck your money as they do.
Poor little company with no sense of responsibilities especially the customer service department. They will just shut you off over the phone. What made me laugh out loud at Fl...Read more

Worst Customer Service - Member for 5 YEARS
I normally don't put negative reviews. However, the treatment I have received from the Flexicar customer service compelled me to leave a review. I have been a member of Flexicar/Hertz247 for the last 5 Years so a review coming from a long term member carry some weight.
The customer operators are not fully trained for the job. Some are very arrogant, judgmental and argumentative. They do not know how to handle a situation other than charging fine to users.
The company has only one manager that deals with customer issues. I have never ever heard of a company that has one manager and no C level execs or no Board or no Head of operations.

Makes living without a car easy
I have been using Flexicar for about half a year now. I would consider myself a light user, booking a car once every month or so. After using the service for a while I thought I should leave a review
Flexicar is a fantastic service. Bookings are easily managed from their phone app and they have a big fleet of nice modern cars to choose from. It certainly helps that I live in inner-city Melbourne where there are lots of cars dotted around. I have had nothing but good experience with Flexicar and would (and have!) reccomend anyone considering ...Read more
using a car sharing service to give Flexicar a go! My favourite things about Flexicar: - very easy booking system - cars are all modern, kept clean and in good contrition - Flexicar offer different levels based on your estimated use. If you use them a lot you can make it cheaper by being on a high-use plan - the price is very competitive at around $10 an hour you have the veichle - petrol is all included!Similar opinion? What used to be a fantastic company has been trashed by Hertz
I have been a Flexicar customer for many years - at least 7 I think. In the past three years, I have seen the user-friendliness of their booking and billing systems deteriorate.
The booking system no longer allows you to see when a particular car is available - e.g. say you want to book a car for a trip out to the country, say 9am to 6pm. The old system would show you exactly what hours a car was available. The new system just shows you that it's not available and you have to do trial and error with the hours to see if leaving an hour later ...Read more

They Don't Answer the Phone and charge you extras you have not required
Worst customer service ever, they don't even answer the phone. Additionally after an accident with just a broken tyre, I was charged $800 for a patrol I had not required, and even if I was not given an option it was still charged to me by EUropcar, and Flexicar did not stand in to protect my right. Never ever ever Rent from this website.

Poor value
I did a comparison between Flexicar and Avis/Budget. One day I hired a Hyundai iLoad from Avis/Budget, which cost $130 (it could have been $95 but I went for a lower excess option) for a full 24 hours. A couple of days later I hired a Nissan Qashqai through Flexicar, which cost me about $50 for two measly hours. The Avis/Budget staff were easygoing whereas the Flexicar staff were a bit snarky. What I don't understand is how Flexicar and others like GoGet managed to convince Melbourne City Clownsel (bad pun intended) to hand over dozens of parking spaces to them alone. My guess is that there must be big bucks changing hands, and it is gullible consumers like me who get stung. All in all, Flexicar is a bad deal.

Promises not kept
On Oct 22nd my wife found the spot to return the flexicar occupied by a non flexicar vehicle. She knew this as the flexicar agent was on the phone and advised her to wait for the spot to empty. While waiting she received a ticket. Flexicar promised to pay the ticket then. For the last 7 months we have re contacted flexicar each month, sent copies of the summons, received new promises, only to find again, on 19 June, they have not payed. Flexicar is the most incompetent company I have ever had the misfortune of working with. I am disappointed to write this as we otherwise really enjoyed the service. Beware.

New online booking and app
The new app and online booking is terrible. You can't change monthly plan. The last system had a great time-frame code that enabled you to see specific times cars were booked. Now, it only shows you availability for time period you select, thus not allowing any flexibility in your choice. You can't easily determine what the type of car is, i.e. if you are looking to rent a van, there is no guide to allow you to select van hire. Not as easy or straight forward as the last system. Very user unfriendly.

ROBBERY!
I think it is disgraceful that Flexicar can absorb your outstanding credit on your plan if not used by the second month. If anyone wants to use this company make sure you are on the right plan that suits you. Sadly I was on an on a roll over plan that meant $100 was deducted automatically from my account each month, I was saving it up for those trips out of town that only come about every now and then, and when I went to check my credits it was at $0. Flexicar had been pocketing my cash happily while I was away on holiday. Terrible practice. Read the fine print!

(clause 27). Then it turns out I didn't just hire a car, I signed up to an 'annual membership' of $70. Flexicar already have a direct debit on my credit card (clause 20.2). There are no refunds on terminating 'membership' (clausr 25.1). Then there are the services fees and fines in clause 32. I was about 45 minutes late in returning the car, due to a mix of heavy traffic and optimism on my part. Returning a car late costs an initial $70 plus $20 for every 30 minutes or part of 30 minutes. All up I think a 2 hour 45 minute car hire will cost me $245: $50 for actual booking period plus $15 for 3 phone calls (it aint that simple first time, not for me anyway) plus $110 for being late by 45 minutes plus $70 annual membership fee. Worst. Deal. Ever.
