Great app
Love flybys. Just wish they had better deals on the app. I use flybys everytime I go food food shopping. Which adds up to extra money to spend at Christmas

Cancelled my membership and unable to redeem points
Same as the other reviews, I was told that I didn't use my account for 12 months so all my years of accumulating points is gone. There was no notification given to me and it doesn't tell you when you swipe the card. Very shady practice.

Cancelled my account without notification
I've had my card for many years, I stopped using it for a short period of time, and then started using it again. At no stage did i receive any information about my account other than advertisements and promotional materials. Ive been using it again for 4 years now. Flybuys continued to send me promos via post and email about their offers etc. But i waited to keep accumulating points, delayed gratification!

Cancelled My Points When Issuing A Replacement Card
I receive d a statement showing I had over 11,000 points which I wanted to transfer to my airline points. I had lost my card so I requested a new one. It took two weeks to arrive. When I went to use the card they advised that they had cancelled all my points as I hadn't used the card in 12 months - which is incorrect as I had used flybuys shopping during that time. Would definitely recommend giving flybuys a miss - get a virgin velocity card or a qantas frequent flyer card. Not a flybuys card.

Best rewards program by far for me
I regularly get great bonus points offers from FlyBuys for both spending a certain amount & on various product purchases. I have found this to be the best rewards program I use. Bonus points are always credited on time. Any issues always quickly resolved by email or FaceBook which I find helpful because I don't want to call any business ever.

Fly Buys Automatically Close your account and steal your points
They automatically close your account if it's inactive, then when you call them about it they won't give you your points back. You have to start a new account. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Freezes every-time on iPhone
The application appears to have bug in it. It freezes every-time on iPhone. Only can run once after phone is switched off and on again. Very annoying. They need to fix it.

Fuel Discounts
Absolutely disgusted in the 10c per litre fuel discount only being available to unleaded fuel...
I have been a member since flybuys started and have asked about why this discount does not extend to diesel etc but no one ever replies

Reward Tickets - Good and Bad
Thought the rewards tickets, that get send out to customers, are pretty good to earn extra points on a weekly basis and looked forward to receiving them. However, in only a very short period of time, the amount that needs to be spent to earn the reward points is getting up and up and becomes ridiculous to achieve. From $30 to $100, and this will go on and on. Not worth anymore receiving the tickets.

I stopped getting the 10,000 Bonus Point offers for shopping 4 weeks in a row
All of the sudden, about six weeks ago, I stopped receiving the 10,000 Bonus Points offers where if I spend a certain amount for four consecutive weeks, I am rewarded with 10,000 bonus points ($50). I used to do all my shopping with Coles on a weekly basis to receive these points. All of the Sudden, these offers stopped coming!! Now I only get bonus points for certain products or Partners! when I called Customer Service, he was unfriendly and could not answer my question. I used to think Flybys was great but now, it will take a year to get $50 voucher!! These bonus point specials are needed or the whole program is a major ripoff! Could save at least $20 a week at Aldi just shopping there!!

No response to many enquiries, no rewards after 10+ years of membership
On the two occasions I have tried to recoup points, the first one to share a cash benefit to both users approx 5 years ago and my recent request to have my 18,000 points redeemed in cash both didn't have any outcome. I didn't question it years ago but now I am. It is a rip off, Woolworths is better but Aldi, with no rewards is better.

Program is Great, Customer Service is Terrible
Contacted customer service to query about changing an option that I mistakenly selected for an offer, wasn't fussed if the answer was no but I wanted to find out. Spoke to a team member named Phillip on the phone who had a condescending tone of voice from the get go when asking for my name and address. Flybuys, your offers are excellent and the program does feel rewarding but please review the training of your customer service team as the representatives on the phone come across as very rude.

Inappropriate administration
Card was continually used but cancelled because of 12 months worth of no usage (which is false). Even if that was the case, card was still accepted at checkout at coles and kmart after the card was cancelled. All points were lost

I love my Flybuys card
I have been a member of flybuys since they started, in the early days my husband and I had two mystery flights both from Perth to Sydney, they were amazing days out, but now I opt for the points to be loaded on to my Flybuys card - which I have been doing for years and I can use that in flybuys accepted shops. Who doesn't like to get rewarded for shopping, we all shop anyway so why not get rewarded for it. Just for using my card I generally get about $500 back each year. I just shop as normal, if Woolworths have a product cheaper I buy from Woolworths, if Coles have it cheaper then I buy it from Coles.

Customer care is non existant. I did not get my points on a bonus reward and have been trying to get in touch with them for week with NO RESPONSE. Not worth using flybuys.

Not Rewarded
Ordered Sunbeam StickMaster Stick Mixer but received Sunbeam Diamond Collection Kettle. Have rung C/S 3 times in a week no response. Sent photo of incorrect item but still no call back. Emailed advising my kettle enquiry has been sent to their Support Team?
Flybuys contacted me, they said I could keep the incorrect item (someone's xmas gift) and the correct item is on the way, sorry for inconvenience. Not inconvenient but lack of communication..took 12 days of me chasing it up....but all good now..gave them a few more stars

The website is as clear as mud. I tried to update my password - OK so far, then it didn't recognize my PIN, date of birth assumes I was born today unless I scroll through history, then it times out. In the second decade of the 21st century, it assumes that EVERYONE has a landline and won't accept a mobile number.
There is no email address offered, useless.
September 17th 2022 Update: Redeeming dollars
I FINALLY got my dollars, but why is a degree in rocket science needed to get anywhere? Woolies' rewards are automatic - get 2,000 points, $10 is ready on the card for shopping - easy.

Updated my Operating System, new device, Flybuys refuses my login.
Flybuys has an incompetent IT department, where user login and verification are broken.
There is no simple way to verify an account, such as email. You are required to enter your surname, and DOB in a month/date/year format. Some surnames are not accepted by Flybuys even though they are legal and common.
Their phone system requires you to enter your 16 digit membership card FAST, and then your DOB, but this time in a date/month/year format.
All of this hassle and for what? A few cents to be data mined, wasting money and time on the phone.
Flybuys is absolute rubbish.

Bonus points is a joke
If you click bonus points, for example bonus 2000points for spending $60 in coles, the bonus points should be arrived in your account in 48 hours. But it didn't so I rang flybuys, they said rang again after 30 days. Then I rang 2 months later, they said it is too long, they will pass to another department then that's it. No response. Even I told them I have screen shot to approve I did activate bonus offer, they just ignore.
