2014 ranger dual cab, has had the traction control light come on at 30, 40 klph then go into limp home mode and no gear changes in the auto. stop turn off re start all good Ford, no mechanic can help me ???? has this happened to anyone?
What codes are the scans bringing up? TCM/ECM/BCM?

i would recommend buying genuine as the after market ones had issues. Little dearer but worth it.

I have a 2.2 2014 dual cab with 165K, noticed recently I have intermittent revving especially in low speed, like the engine is purging, noticed the taco fluctuates every 5 sec or so, though when on open road @ 110k it is less frequent, this also happens when cruise control is activated, hoping someone can share how they rectified this issue without going to the dealer to spend $$, a friend recommended blanking the EGR..

Anyome had expereince with 2013 auto 2.2l sputtering / souting in 2nd gear between 1500-2000 revs
No but massive issues with the 3.2 2013. No smoke, push pedal to floor and comes good but hates sitting on 1500-2000 just cruising. Feels like I’m pulling 10t of weight and doing my head in.
Also replaced airflow sensor already seemed like it fixed it for a day then back too shit. Worse when warm.

Hi, we have a 2012 manual ford ranger, came home from work the other day to find the all the passenger side indicator lights on solid. Keys were inside, car was locked. Have had to disconnect the battery in mean time. But cant seem to find anything anywhere as to what it could be.
Hi our 2.2 diesel Ranger 2014 anti skid and limp mode lights come on when we use the brakes. Was told it was the rear wheel speed sensor which was replaced. The lights still come on when we use the brakes. Any solutions?
2013 Ford Ranger PX, I'm trying to find where to tap into a wire in the cabin which is controlled by the dimmer switch (eg. only has power when the headlights are turned on). I'm wiring in some switches for spotlights etc and want the blue light to only glow when the headlights are on. Any help would be appreciated.

Don’t do it. I’ve had no end of problems with the electrical system since day 1 (in 2013) and Ford still can’t tell me what’s wrong with it. Car won’t start at random times, various systems turn themselves on or off, music chooses itself. A real lemon.
hi have px1 2013 xlt, battery went flat and it went into limp mode, i replaced battery and all went well for 1 year, now flattened battery again and its going into limp mode. have abs, engine and traction light on. have a new battery and computer fault codes cleared, its throwing output speed shaft sensor error and ecm/pcm data invalid, some days its fine but others its in limp mode or ill be goojng 100km and it drops into first and revs out. have to put into neutral and turn off and sometimes it resets and im ok and some times its not. ford have said most probably new tranny $8000. Wondering if anyone has had this as there seems to be lots of occurrences like this. intrested to know if anyone can provide any light on this and how you can elliminate abs sensors
Check your cold air intake pipe between your throttle body and intercooler. It's on the right hand side when your looking at the engine. If it was transmission I would think that it would be constantly
Could also be the lead frame in the auto, about a $500 part but needs the valve body to be removed to replace.

Anthony, sounds like your cold air intake pipe, between throttle controller and intercooler. It's a rubber pipe and when it gets a small crack it does exactly what your experiencing

My 2013 2.2 limited started with a small misfire at low revs a few weeks ago. Not all the time,just every now and then. Then last week when I went to pull away it died and the powertrain light came on.i left it for 5 mins and then it started again. It's done this 3 times now and only when I put my foot down a bit. Could a faulty battery be doing this? Or something more sinister??
