We have just turned our HCF524 Freezer on and the green light comes on ok, so does the yellow super freeze light, but red the alarm light seems to be covered over so we cant tell if its on or not, can the light cover be taken off, why will we know if theres any issues?

No. Once it is up and running we switched it over. Ours is set on 4 and the green light for Control is on. Great freezer. Very quiet. Low maintenance.
