If you use a hdmi cable you don’t need the audio/video cables

I am working on putting Disney plus app on as I have the model that has google so should be able to install it. Have not had a chance to get back to this.

Hi Damien, depends what app you are trying to download? You can navigate through the Freeview Plus service via either the channel's own service (i.e. Tenplay, 9Now, 7Plus etc which is an inbuilt feature on the TV however certain criteria must be met . Alternatively our TV has numerous factory-installed apps, there may be others that you’d like to download. From the Home screen, click on the Apps to select the AppsNOW icon. Use the navigation buttons of your remote to select the app that you want to install and then press the [OK] button. A page displays that shows a written description of the app. 3.Click on Install. The selected app has been added to the Home screen.

So I’m having issues recording shows. I tried to record something last night as there was two shows on at the same time that I wanted to watch, anyway the tv automatically changed to the program I had set to record and when I went to change back it stopped recording it? My question is can I record a program without actually watching it or no??

Hi Jodie, yes TV must have an antenna plugged in, The TV must be connected to the internet and it must have good signal strength/speed.Must live in an area that Freeview Plus is available in. You can check this by searching the customer's post code at: http://www.freeview.com.au/freeview-plus/#/menu3

My TV has a slight blur to the look. It is UHD 4K and you would expect the picture quality would be better than my standard HD TV. What can I do to fix it?
Problem solved. Phoned support who helped with settings adjustment.

How do I turn off all the damb annoying " Store Mode" and advertising it a pain.
Tt should be ready to use by the consumer when it is delivered in the new package as mine was . In the retail store they should enable this for use only in the store.
would it be too hard to just have a simple button or switch. to disable all the store mode settings. So please tell me what have I got to do before my wife throws a bricks at it.

Gday mate. Just push the settings button (cog symbol). That brings up your menu .scroll down to settings and select. Then scroll down to system and select. Scroll down to advanced settings which is not visible at first but is after hdmi &cec functions. select. Advanced.Scroll down to store mode and deselect.. Finally carefully remove rock from wives hand. Give kiss and put on her channel. Tomorrow claim your tv remote back and become king of your loungeroom again.lol

Please help! We find that when the volume is below level 10, the sound is staticy/disoriented. I have tried adjusting the settings, restored factory settings, firmware update, the works. No luck.
Not only that, when attempting the sound test, it is unavailable???!!!
I am also unable to connect to the TV using the RemoteNOW app on my phone, even when the phone and TV are both connected to the same WIFI network.
Then, when trying to look for apps to add, AppsNOW is ‘currently unavailable’ and to try again later. This is ALWAYS the case.
Need help setting up with GoogleHome, the instructions and attempting to find how on the internet has been fruitless.
We have had this TV for a month without being able to resolve any of these problems. Please help or we’ll have to return it. Definitely not what we expected from a ‘Smart’ TV.

Our tv was faulty from the start. The sound and picture did not line up. They sent two sticks to reprogram the tv, then picked it up to to fix it. The relate people said it was fixed, but you needed to reprogram it every time it had the same problem. Not happy. Company did not want to replace the tv.

I purchased a Hisense 50R6 smart TV in Dec. 2022. With all the free to air channels eg channel 9, why is the picture not at full size screen, it has a black strip 5 inches wide on each side ?. Yet the Netflix and YouTube are full size screen.

With this Hisense TV? Probably not the software is that bad... Don't recommend these TV's sorry, I wish I could help though...

Sorry john dont think it has bluetooth mate. Ive got the 75r6 and after googling the same thing and following instructions for hisense tvs (no specific model) that being: settings/ network. Then display shows 4 options on mine starting with network config./int. Con/wake on wire/wake on lan. The googled site showed a fifth option for bluetooth which the r6 doesnt display. Not all hisense tvs have bluetooth. You can buy bluetooth transmitters/ recievers that you plug into either headphone socket or other port but you need to check that its suitable/compatible with your headphones. Ive bought a couple on ebay but due to minimal info given with ebay it can be hit and miss. Avoid the cheapest $5-15 ones as most are only mono sound which did connect easy but just average sound. Try look for the stereo ones and with bluetooth compatable with headset eg bluetooth 4.2 etc. What im not sure about with this option is the sound lag which is adjustable in settings which if youve had as many dramas as ive had with lipsincing on this tv youll know where in settings to find it.Alternatively i think some wireless headsets. Are wifi and or bluetooth but youd have to check. Then you could connect thru wifi. Good luck and great name mate
