Comfortable drive
Pros: Spacious, dashboard design is great, easy to drive.
Cons: I have realised that it is a little noisy when driving but im not sure whether that is due to the state of the roads. I feel like that it is fairly so when accelerating from a stop, i have to really push my foot down on the pedal to accelerate from 0-100kms. The touchscreen is very outdated and has slow responses.

18 months old, elecrics/electronics unreliable
The Honda Civic looks and drives great however, we have had many problems with the charging system (flat battery) and minor electronic problems. The Honda agent is unable to fix the problems permanently. We have been a keen Honda family for the last 18 years having owned various models from Jazz to Accord luxury Euro.

Great overall car
Owned this car for a couple months now and so far no mechanical problems. It is economical and has a good mileage. There is one thing that is annoying however. First time setup for the navigation system was a pain in the back and the UI was not exactly user friendly. It did not feature inbuilt navigation and had to rely on apple carplay.

Reliable car and economical
Very reliable car. No problem so far. Quiet and cruise control works well.
Good fuel tank, about 43 litres. Good fuel economy 7 litre for 100km.
Good back boot for storage, this model offers much better boot space compared to previous models.
Came with free 5 year roadside assist . Saved at least $400 there.

Beauty
Love it: Keyless entry is super convenient, surprisingly roomy, very quiet, push to start ignition is very sleek, excellent power, love the automatic windscreen wipers and temp control.
Cons: This car needs to be serviced twice a year to keep the manufacturers warranty, that adds up quickly even with capped price servicing.

Great little car
I've always owned a Honda and upgrading to the new Honda Civic VTI MY17 hatch (base model) was a no brainer.
The new features of the Honda Civic is on par to the features of most new cars in the market; rear parking sensors, apple play/android friendly, digital speedometer and spacious console storage. I can only rate the performance based on my previous driving experience to my old Honda car and I can say its a huge improvement - its smooth, powerful and steering is very responsive. The car overall is surprisingly spacious for a "small" car ...Read more

Fantastic Daily With Plenty of Fun
This is without a doubt the best value for a performance car on the market in it's category. It offers world class handling in a compact car and is well equipped inside and out. Transmission most definitely exhibits Honda's signature Type R feel and turbo offers plenty of punch with minimal lag. Copious amounts of legroom for the driver and all passengers with a spacious rear cargo.
If you are chasing 0-100 times, this is not the car for you - do not be deceived by the FWD system. The interchangeable comfort settings are significant and the fuel economy is about 8.4L/100km with some spirited driving. The only disappointment is the exhaust note as it could be a little more aggressive but there are always aftermarket options.

Perfect little car
Despite its small size, the Honda Civic feels extremely solid and steady. The driving experience is great as the performance of the car is more than enough within the city/urban areas. The car has many smart features equipped, as does most newer models. The shape of the car is beautiful and very unique compared to the other cars on the roads today. I would definitely recommend this car!!

Beautiful Car In and Out
Purchased a brand new Honda Civic in the Lunar Silver colour. First time buying a brand new car and this definitely did not disappoint. Everything is perfect from the performance to the interior/exterior of the car. Very generous space in the boot and the back seats. Very fuel efficient and great extra features such as parking sensors, side camera viewing and no key locking.

I Absolutly Love This Car
After 13 year of owing from new a Honda Accord Euro that never gave me any issues it wasn't a hard choice to make picking the Honda Civic RS. I must admit that stepping down in KW from the Euro to the Civic was a slight concern, that was until I drove the Civic RS. The turbo help out with this and I don't even notice the fact it has less KW. One thing I do notice though is the amazing fuel economy that I'm able to achieve with this car. Since purchasing it in March last year my average fuel economy is 4.9l per 100km. The best I've ever achieved...Read more
was 4.4l per 100 on one tank of fuel, that was using Caltex 98, but I mostly use Caltex 95. I love the way the car handles and how easy it is to drive, it has a super smooth ride and just glides around corners. I also enjoy using the paddle shift gears to shift down when I need to slow down going down a hill or I see traffic ahead slowing down, meaning I don't need to use my breaks as much. The sound system is amazing too, perfect balance on base and mid range. The 10 speakers make a huge difference, they have a very crisp sound, I love my music and this sound system does it justice. The boot in this car is great for the size car, I was able to fit 6 x 2m long sleepers in with the back seats down. I would definitly recomend this car to anyone that is looking at it, I don't have a bad word to say about it. I'm sure you wont too!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect first car!
Purchased a Honda Civic VTi model as a first car and it does the job for the price (~23k). Can't ask for a better value sedan at the price point. Very comfortable interior, zippy but economical engine and the added touch of Apple CarPlay inside is perfect! Is a great small sedan that fits in small parking spots around the city but large enough to carry all your goods. The exterior looks sleek and the contours of the car look very good. Highly recommend.

Super Spacious and refined
This car is great. Coming from a 2015 Mazda 3 SP25 (BM) model, this is car is much more spacious, has heaps better NVH, is quieter and more refined. Looks futuristic, Turbo engine is sufficiently torquey and brisk. Could not have asked for a better affordable family car. The best thing about the this car is the steering. its super responsive and a joy to drive on windy roads.

Perfect Everyday Car
Bought a 2017 Honda Civic VTi Sport for $25,990 and a slab of beer. Car is great for a everyday car, not under powered and not over-powered. The handling is great as well, but there would be times where I prefer to turn corners better but that is just form me coming from previously owning a rear wheel car. Noise is very minimal making it great for road trips. Boot is spacious as well, can fit around 2 large luggage + small ones. Interior has that plastic feel but you get for what you pay for. Touchscreen apple android play is probably the best upgrade Honda did from their previous gen. So far, car has no issues and running costs (driving 50km a day) costs me around $40 per week in petrol which is considered pretty good!

Great affordable modern car
Recently purchased a Honda Civic sedan as a much needed upgrade from my old 2003 Toyota Camry. Was looking for a small sedan that I could use to drive around the city and for the odd road trips. This car ticked all the boxes. It is modern and sleek with a new design from the Civics of old. It has a very modern dashboard and is compatible with Andriod Auto which is a great bonus. There are some nice safety features too with front and rear sensors as well as rear and left sided cameras. The car itself drives well, there is a sports mode if you need a bit more power. Fuel consumption is about 8L/100km and it generally costs around $50 to fuel up a full tank.

Love my Civic
When the time finally came to upgrade my car I really wasn't sure what I was looking for. After test driving a number of vehicles I decided on a Honda Civic Hatch. I love the shape & style of this car. The fuel economy is great and I definitely feel I made the right choice

Honda Civic
I took test drives on both Honda and Mazda and felt that Honda Civic had the modern technology on the same price range, and the dashboard and interiors were of better quality. It comes up with inbuilt iPhone connection with the dashboard which will show the mobile screen on the car dashboard. The car is awesome and value for money. They are also giving year-end free warranty and roadside assistance and insurance for free.

Fantastic car
I purchased a new Honda Civic hatch after having a new Honda sedan previously for over 8 years. In between I purchased a Holden Cruze as the Civic hatch was not available until this year. I would highly recommend the Honda Civic to any one looking for a new car. They are reliable with little issues if any with engine issues. The finish is excellent and the new Hatch is fantastic with its Constant Variable transmission. I have done nearly 9000kms in this car with an average fuel usage of 6.6 litres per 100 kilometres. With its 5 year unlimited klm, warranty, fixed price servicing and 5 years roadside assist you cant go wrong with this car.

5 months later, I’m still in love.
I got a great price on my brand new Honda Civic RS. It took me six months to choose a car, but I just couldn’t shake off the slick black RS. But the price was just out of my range. So I settled for the VTEC. My dealer called me and said they won’t be shipping the vtec for two months but they had the rs in stock within the next few weeks. Clearly it was fate! I love and adore it more than my children sometimes hahaha. Can’t go wrong with a car you love! And so cheap to run. Costs me $50 a month in fuel.

My Favourite Car - Better than a Prelude
I love this car! I have just passed 5000km and have had it for 3 months.
There are a lot of negatives on journalist reviews but I think they are all bunk. Firstly, it is easy to forget the touchscreen while driving, you simply use the wheel control to skip a song or backtrack - or change to radio, bluetooth or Android or Apple car play - whatever you want! Volume also on the wheel. You can also put whatever image you want on the touchscreen - it is like an iPad.
I have navigation on screen or via Android - and the safety features on VTi-LX, l...Read more

Civic VTI-LX 2017
Urban running costs are a bit high for short distance travels. The back seat passengers have to bear the heat on a hot day as the car lacks back ac vents. With ac in the urban running costs are abnormally very high for the size of the car.
No stop start technology. If they had this it would have been a big winner for Honda.
Reliability no issues. Being a top end car doesn't have any special batching or appearance.
Long distances on freeway has good economy as depicted by Honda.
The seats are too low and for the passenger side are abnormally lower and cannot be adjusted. For a person who is taller this is not a car to go for.

Has anyone experienced problems with the airconditioning not functioning properly in 2016 Honda Civic 1.5 litre turbo model?
Mine can take up to 15 minutes before cold air flows on a hot day and then cuts out again if I turn the fan down or change airflow direction.
Similarly in winter, the a/c doesn't effectively demise the front windscreen as the cold air doesn't cut in for ages.
