Excellent Mower!
I purchased this mower as a replacement for my old Honda push mower which still goes fine after 15 years but saw this model on sale and thought why not upgrade to a larger deck with self drive.
In short it is an AWESOME mower which gets my mowing done in what feels like half the time it used to, and absolutely no fatigue from pushing when used with some common sense. Personally I dont get most of the negative comments in these reviews. I have owned this mower for nearly 12 months and it has been absolutely faultless!

If it’s hard to drive forward or spins the wheels - raise the front height a notch or 2 higher than the rear so the grass can enter easily at the front. If the lawn is really damp or really high, leave it till it dries out a bit or raise the cut a little or cut it in 2 runs If it’s hard to pull backwards (which personally I don find an issue) change the pattern of your mowing so you go mainly in a forward direction. Also, sounds dumb but make sure you have fully released the drive button as it is easy to still have your finger on it without realising and it is fighting you backwards. This Mower has a very wide cut and it is a large mower which is why it is self propelled. If your yard is small with tight spaces don’t buy this model as it is to big! buy a smaller lighter push mower.
Purchased in January 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$799.00.

Quality
I have used honda self prepelled mowers for 22 years and always been very happy with the product untill their latest model it is under powered struggles through long thick grass cuts very poorly the wheels spin so you have to push it just a very poor mower all round very dissapointed honda should be ashamed of their product

LOVE IT!
This is by far the best mower i've ever owned. I actually enjoy mowing my lawns now :D
PROS:
-Can and will cut ANYTHING!
-Self propelling is smooth and she goes like a dog shot in the behind!
-Will cut through long grass, sticks, and weeds with ease
-Large cutting deck means the job is done in half the time it used to take me
-Seems to run on fumes! I can mow our front and back lawns which takes me on average about an hour or more 2 or 3 times before needing to refuel it!
-The mulcher is really great, its so fine its like its not even there!
- The engine and shazzis is really non stick, so grass and even petrol should you spill any, just rinse right off very easily.

A breeze to use!
If you are sick of pulling the handle and pushing through thick grass then this is the mower for you. It is so easy to start and glides easily through the thickest of lawns. The catcher is simple to empty and I find the mower very reliable. The first major service was expensive but worth the effort. It is very dependable.

Back breaking self drive system
Mulched really well, thought I would never use catcher again, starts easily. That's all the good stuff. The self propelled system is a cheaper version of the commercial series and is really hard to pull backwards, had mine in to be repaired as Honda sent out an update but came back no better. You can't adjust the drive speed unless you don't push the drive all the way and make to belt slip. Returned it to Bunnings for refund. Wish I had read the reviews on here, would have saved time and money.

Not as good as the old type
Pretty poor. I live 1 hr form the place where I purchased the mower. It is very challenging to fix even simple things like the belt which keeps coming off.
Mine has done very few hrs and it drives me mad. Have to see if i can get the old one going again.

Great Mower
Purchased this mower 2nd hand, great mower to use, like the self propelled as I have back problems, just wish I could find a catcher as mine did not come with one but I use the mulcher anyway. This mower has more then enough power to get the job done, yes it is heavy to push but it is self propelled so that is a mute point anyway.

Terrible
Bad mower.
Don't even think about it.
After a great run of 16 years with a Honda Buffalo it seemed like a good idea.
This mower isn't a patch on a real honda,In my opinion the usa models are crap.
No power and just plain bad all round,,I want mine gone asap...

The biggest load of crap out
Very expensive to maintain a lot more expensive than most of the other Honda models the blades are hard to buy even the mower shops are finding it hard to get blades when you do price them there about $35 each and there are 2 blades not cheap . The self drive on this model is crap as well I have trouble all the time with trying to pull the mower back the self drive wont let it pull back . The motor s are ok and runs good but that's the only good thing about this model I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MODEL TO ANY ONE AVOID IT ALL TOGETHER
