Hi Erik, thanks for taking the time to ask us a question. The Hose Reels come with a 2m leader hose and we have extensions available in 1.5m and 5m lengths. You can join more than one together as they are pre fitted with the hose end connectors. The longer you go the less output you will get as the water has to travel further, however the Hi Flow is a thicker hose so will give you around a 20%-25% increase compared with our standard 12mm hose reels. Hi Michelle, thanks for taking the time to leave us your question. I can confirm the Retractable Hose Reels use a lock anywhere system so the hose will not retract into the casing whilst you are wanting to water. When you are ready to retract the hose you just pull it an inch towards yourself to unlock it and then walk it back in slowly. Kind Regards, The Hoselink Team

Hi Tony, thank you for your question.

Unfortunately our leader hoses are already in pre-cut lengths and we don't have hose available here in order to customer make a leader hose for you. The leader hoses are really easy to replace though therefore if you have any hose at home that you can use, we can certainly send through instructions on how to remove and refit the leader hose. It's super easy too, you will just need to undo a hose clamp!

Hi Jill and happy new year!

Our hose reels come with a 9/10 kink resistance therefore it is very unlikely you will have any issues with the hose kinking. With the hose reel packages we give you an accessory connector with swivel which goes in between the spray gun and hose and will allow you to water at any angle without affecting the hose - therefore this is perfect for preventing any problems with kinking.

These hoses are quite east to pull out of the casing if mounted correctly around waist to shoulder height and will lock off anywhere along the hose length when you stop. You can certainly try out the hose reels at our showroom in Sydney. We are at Unit1/108 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale, 2100. We are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We hope to see you soon!

Hi John, thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear you have been having issues with the fittings disappearing, that's not good at all. With the hose reels, unfortunately there is no way you can lock the hose inside the casing. The only thing you can do is to put a padlock on the unit which means it cannot be lifted off the wall bracket. Would there be any chance you could mount the unit out of sight and just have a longer leader hose running up to the unit? Or could you store the hose reel inside when not in use? Hi Sarah, thank you for your question. With any hose reel you will find there will be a drop in pressure regardless to the model/brand you choose. This is due to the way the water has to travel through the leader hose and internal workings of the reel. Our Hi-Flow model is available for people who have low water pressure or people who are using them on tanks/bore pressure. The reason for this is because the hi-flow has a slightly larger diametre hose than our standard reels and actually allows more water to flow through at one time.
