Problems & solutions
Purchased outright & had a manufacturing fault - bottom left of screen not fitted or sitting flush to screen - contacted HP online sent immediate requested photos of fault - conversation took in excess of 30 mins with verbal notification from them of answer on next working day - I've had no further contact from HP. Took laptop to retailer who replaced laptop immediately. 2nd laptop - within a week laptop problems - loud whirring noise for 2-3 seconds then screen freeze on 3 occasions, separate screen freeze on 4 occasions without noise, powered

Returned to retailer who kept laptop, contacted HP - outcome: HP declined to replace, advised retailer fault was due to a firmware download, 7 other such instances with this device quoted by HP, laptop was factory reset & returned to me I set up for 3rd time - has had one screen freeze since. All this has taken 49 days to resolve. Advised by retailer to contact HP if any further problems. The good - very easy to use, fast, lightweight & similar in feel to my last HP laptop, suits my needs. Touch screen good response. Thanks to the retailer for helpful service The bad - right hand wrist rest area edge is a little sharp & small rubber buffer too is uncomfortable on the wrist when using for extended time, touch pad is a little choosy on tappingGood laptop for light work
This laptop seems to be targeted at maybe the college students or light work. It’s pretty portable and can do very little word processing. I use this for web browsing and for movies as the screen can go 360 degrees (as the name suggests) and can run light games such as team fortress and medium high settings at 60 FPS. So this is an ok laptop.

When I was looking for a laptop, I was looking for something small and powerful for a reasonable price, this laptop is all of those however, I've had some small problems. I've had problems with the shift button not working and a few blue screens but overall good, 4/5 stars.

Too much bloat ware, good for playing but no good for work
In the newest HP pavillion the keyboard is offset to the left but touch pad is centre. Result, you are constantly hovering over/ brushing touchpad when typing (properly touch typing that is, not just two finger while looking at keyboard) = poor or business functionality, scripting, blogging or any kind of fast work involving typing. Then you have to disable touch pad and get an accessory - USB mouse. HP Pav = fail on the keyboard/ touch pad layout.

Very Mediocre PC
I bought this PC for light web browsing and some occasional word processing. It's astonishingly slow, I mean to the point where internet browsing is sluggish and cumbersome.
This laptop is also meant to be a hybrid, but it's just too heavy and it doesn't feel comfortable to hold, just ask
the person at the shop to convert it and hold it for a minute... you'll see what I mean.
Battery life is sub par and reminds me of pc's back in the early 000's, it will give you 3 hours at normal usage and may not even make it through a whole movie, that

In a sum, this is a shockingly bad PC and I advise anyone to steer away from this one and try the competition, can't believe anyone could seriously give this device more than 2 stars. Hope you don't make the same mistake I made and get a pc that doesn't break the bank and does a reasonable job at light and common tasks, cause this one is not it!Good for home & travel

It’s a light weight hybrid laptop and with rose gold trim and it looks great. Its VERY flexible, turning into a powerful tablet albeit bulky when compared to a pure tablet. The touchscreen also works well in laptop mode. The display is excellent and for traveling, it’s nice and light & thin. The backlit keyboard is a nice feature in low light and it can easily be turned off, except for 1 activation key.
The USB 3 ports, card reader and HDMI all do what they’re supposed to and the process

There’s a 256 GB drive with 238GB useable (after the recovery partition). If you have a large amount of files then an external drive is necessary. The B&O speakers are over rated. They’re no better than other decent laptop speakers, so don’t expect too much. The tiny power button is a bit hard to find and press. The oversized scratch pad works well and can be used like the pinch functions for a tablet screen. Personally, I prefer a USB micro mouse, it uses 1 port, but that’s the same as any other laptop.Slow
It's fairly heavy for it's compact size. The touch screen quality is surprisingly good. It does take a while to load up, but is quite responsive when it does. When it's installing or updating software, don't bother waiting - it takes a good 30+ minutes. The speakers are the hyped feature but fail to deliver the sound quality one would expect.
Top quality
The HP Pavilion (red) with beats audio is a fine little unit. It has a great processor with adequate storage and packs a punch. The audio is superb, 360 degree swivel screen comes in handy, touch screen feature is awesome and the smaller sized screen makes it ideal for travelling and storing (the main reason why I purchased it) If you're looking for an all-rounder notebook that is powerful and ticks all the boxes this one won't disappoint - and at only $482 from Officeworks (price match and a 5% discount) it is one of the cheapest on the mar
