Great for basics, looks cool, love it!
I bought this phone for 2 reasons: 1) I inevitably lose my phone 2-3 times a week so didn't want to follow the herd and spend a tonne of money on a wizzy dizzy smart phone if it's going to be lost so much. Just something that will get words from A to B! 2) The green version looks cool.
Have loved it from the word go. I actually got the bright green version which looks like some sort of disney pixar character and is easy to find again when you put it down (yay!). The buttons are easy to use, straight forward though there was a learning curve ...Read more
as there always is with new phones when you just don't know which button does what. The home screen is a bit basic, but easy enough to use. Has some cool ringtones already loaded on there. Texting is easy, like I say the buttons are big enough for anyone to use. It also has T9 texting which is worth learning as saves a lot of time. When making/receiving calls, the audio has been crisp and clear despite limited reception where I live. The camera is hardly going to win national geographic, but for the price it does a good job. You can match pictures with contacts so it appears when they call. It also records audio and can hold a few songs. Internet is easy enough and straightforward to use, like I said it's basic but gets the job done. The only problem I've had so far is that it won't let me go on hotmail. Not sure if this is a Huawei thing or a Skinny thing. My favourite thing has got to be the battery life, which lasts week when you're using the internet a lot and about 2 weeks with moderate use. Can actually go 19 days which is pretty amazing. I've loved it so much that it hasn't been lost yet (I've had it a month so that's a record!). Not everybody's cup of tea but it's perfect for me and does everything that I personally want it to. Would suit somebody who wants a basic call/text reliable phone, that can do a bit of web surfing if needed, and can go literally weeks without a charge. 2 week+ battery life, looks, easy of use, reliability. I've had trouble connecting it with the computer but this is probably something I'm doing wrong, not the phone's faultSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
