Must have for newborn babies
Every parent needs one. Essential for those days when your baby doesn't want to be put down. Easy to use with practice. I also use the ring sling, which I love feeding in up until about 6 months. About to use both with my 3rd baby excellent quality, washes easy.

Our go-to gift
We are big fans! Hug-a-bubs are our go-to presents for expectant parents. We have lots of great memories with our two wraps and like to pass on the love. I did like the fabric that you used to use better though. It's too stretchy now! A wrap with stiffer material just works better.

Sanity saver!
Extremely happy with my wrap. My baby girl was delivered via c section, 6 weeks early so she spent two weeks in hospital and I felt like I missed out on a lot of bonding time because of this. The wrap allows me to be super close to her and bond. She absolutely loves being in it and it's very comfortable for me.

A lot to love about the hug-a-bub
We have loved this baby carrier. Bub feels very secure and always falls right asleep when in it. We have used it with both our kids. Great for a one stop trip (eg. Groceries or morning at the park) Found it exhausting getting Bub in and out and re-tieing when having runs errands. Otherwise love this wrap.

Good for winter
It's good for newborn to around 3 months old and mainly in the winter months. During summer or warm days it just causes you and baby to sweat as you need all three layers of fabric around baby holding them in
I'll use it for newborns inside and it is worth the money

Disappointed
I found this wrap hard to to learn how to wrap, unfortunately the the for me and others I know who have purchased this particular wrap just find the diagrams no where near detailed enough to do that wrap. Overall not particularly satisfying considering the cost of this particular product.

Very comfy baby carrier
It is a bit of a mission to get it on...especially when you have a crying baby. But once on and carrying the baby its great. Very comfy and my LO had a fair few naps in it. It also it great for travelling and not only for baby carrying. We also used it to cover the Port a cot to black the light out.

The most essential baby item
Used my hugabub for all 4 babies through to toddlerhood. Still in perfect condition. Saved my life especially when no. 2 came along and didn't want to sleep. Loved and admired by everyone. It should be the number one item on every new mum's list.

Fantastic product, we ordered the wrong one.
I love the huggabub. however we ordered the wrong one. we ordered the extra large version thinking it should be big enough... the tying flaps / strings were crazy long. we have made some adjustments to ours and its working great! This is a great product and an I have found it to be an essential item for new bub.

Absolute must have!
First time mum and life was easier with hug a bub! We had one of the bulkier carriers but it was so much harder to use with the buckles! I could put the hug a bib on a home and drive with it on, do the groceries with both hands, even the dishes! Baby sleeping or not she loves it. Made life easier since hubby is away 4 weeks at a time (FIFO). Hug a bub was so good I bought one for my sister too. She uses hers all the time too!

I've used my hug a Bub for my 2 children and soon to be 3rd. I couldn't live without it... Especially in those early days. It's amazing and soft and so comfortable. I love the pocket in the front, you can use it for wallet and keys great for when your out and about. I simply wouldn't be without it!

A life saver in the early days
I loved our hug a bub it was a life saver in in the early days with a colicky baby and then again with my second baby and a toddler underfoot.
Loved it and recommend it to all new mums to try as it's very easy to learn to use and comfortable to wear.

Great way to carry bub
The hug-a-bub was a great way to carry baby during the 'fourth trimester' of her life. There were moments where my husband and I got a little flusted trying to perfect the wrap but nothing a little refresher video watching couldn't fix! Our baby was always so comfortable and content in the hug-a-bub and we loved having her close to us everywhere we went.

Close, comfy and convenient
Could tie with my eyes closed in no time. My daughters would sleep as long as they were in it, which meant a whole new level of freedom for me - particularly as newborns. Loved wearing my bubs in the hugabub and bought for a lot of new mums to be

It's very good however hard to put on without it dragging over the ground!
I love my hugabub, however I get frustrated that it is so long that it drags onto the ground when putting it on. It isn't very hygenenic when u are wrapping your newborn baby to have it over the dirty ground! I wish it wasn't quite so long, to me it doesn't have to be, I have miles of material left over after tying it up! Maybe they could bring out a small, med & large?

Pegs leave holes
Purchased for daughter who did like to be in it when newborn, though as she would often fall asleep while i was holding her, it was then very awkward to tie. Was quite comfortable, although as i said cumbersome to tie so i didn't wear as much as I'd originally intended to. The shame is i had purchased thinking superior product yet pegs left holes in the material and apparently it is not covered under warranty as they said it is the pegs that caused damage, even though washing and drying the wrap falls under the normal scope of use and I had onl...Read more
y had it a few months and hadn't used all that often. I had a moby for $30 but purchased hug a bub pocket wrap for $90 thinking it would be nicer and yet it is the wrap that got holes. Buy a cheaper one, as you are not covered once it is ruined and out of pocket $100.!2 comments
I wouldn't want to outlay any further money only to have it be ruined again, as I would plan on washing it, which is a more than reasonable expectation. It was too expensive to begin with but I had bo... Read more
ught it under the misguided belief that it would be superior to other wraps. I WAS WRONG. The fact not covered under warranty is DISGRACEFUL. I WARN OTHERS TO PLEASE BUY ELSEWHERE.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Awesome
This was the 5th carrier/wrap I bought, and this is by far my favourite. I feel awesome using it. Lots of people take the chance to adore him all snuggled up at eye level - much different from a pram. Takes a bit of practice wearing it. My 11 week old boy falls asleep in it really well. It's the only way he gets sleep during the day and I can get things done handsfree. Would be great to wear in winter - I've been wearing it this summer and I get a little too sweaty. The material however is great for my sensitive skin. Very suitable for my boy a...Read more

Wish I'd bought this when I had my first child!!
I absolutely LOVE our Hug-a-bub. With a 20 month old child and a newborn, I quickly realised I was not ever going to have my hands free, so off I went to the baby shop to check out their range of carriers. I had seen similar wrap style carriers and knew I wanted something in a wrap style. I chose the hug-a-bub in byron blue and I have not regretted it for a second.
My major concerns about wrap style carriers were around how secure they are, and that they might be complicated to do. But I quickly learned that once baby is in the wrap, he is n...Read more
ot going anywhere! He was snug as a bug. I also liked that his hips were perfectly positioned (as we had concerns with his hips when he was born). Learning to do the wrap was super easy because there is an instructional video on the hug-a-bub website. I watched it a few times and then practiced a few times with my daughters doll before I put my little boy in it. It is just so easy to do and I never felt like there was any risk of my baby falling out. My hug-a-bub was a godsend! I could put my little boy in it (and he would normally drift right off to sleep), tend to my toddler and even do some housework. I would have gotten nothing done at home without it! It was also perfect for when my little one was unsettled. I would put him in the wrap and the calming effect was almost immediate. He just felt so safe and secure in it and also feeling my heartbeat was comforting for him. I did notice that my baby got quite warm in the wrap but I just ensured he was not overdressed when i put him in it and he was perfectly happy.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect for bub and mum alike :)
Purchased the hugabub wrap for my fussy bub so I could try to get out of the house without a screaming baby. My bub hates the pram and the car seat and I wasn't sure how he would go in a wrap but thought anything is worth trying. First 3 times he fell asleep and didn't hear a peep from him! Amazing. Ever since he has loved being in it and I have been able to do groceries, clean at home etc without a problem. He is 8 weeks old and just over 5kg and it literally feels like he weighs nothing when wrapped. The weight is distributed very well and I ...Read more
have had no aches or pains from wearing him. I found the first few times easier to wrap in front of a mirror but it really is simple to wrap once you've done it twice. Happy to say I can get him in and out on my own too which is awesome. Would highly recommend to anyone with a fussy bub or if you want both of your hands free haha.Similar opinion?
