Awful

To pay extra money for a diaper that is "clinically proven" to prevent diaper rash only to have our son develop the worst diaper rash to date is despicable. The first time it happened, I didn't believe it was the diaper but switched back to pampers anyway, just to be safe. When we ran out of the pampers, I put the huggies crawler diaper back on him as we kept them from our original incident, only to find him with another awful rash! I have never posted an online review for a product in a negative fashion until now. I feel that I must share this story as there isn't anything worse than watching your innocent child cry and suffer from pain and hopefully I can prevent another parent from experiencing this because of this product,

Love these Nappies!

published

We have used Huggies exclusively for both children, they are fantastic, nothing else is quite as good. With the supermarket competition they are just as cost effective as other brands if not more now because the quality is SO much better!

absolutely nothing bar the odd production "funny" ones, but if you ring huggies they have wonderful customer service.

You get what you pay for and these nappies are worth it!

published

Being on a budget you try to find the best priced product whilst working the best for your needs. After trying 3 other cheaper brands I seem to consistanty come back to Huggies becuase without fail they dont leak! I can leave the nappies on for longer if need be which means less changes and at the end of the day the cost either evens out or works out cheaper than cheaply priced nappies that I change more.

At the moment Huggies seem to be competitively priced at the big supermarkets and aren't too much more expensive than cheaper brands and cheaper quality nappies.

My son has never had nappy rash either
Never leak, no matter what! No leaking means less washing and changing which means more money in my pocket at the end of the day.

Never had a nappy rash while using these!

published

I have used many brands of nappies over 2 children but always keep coming back to huggies. My kids have sensitive skin and other brands seem to be less breathable and caused rashes. Huggies seemed to help and prevent this. These are great at night as they are super absorbent and even when they are full they don’t seem to let the fluid out. Easy for changing as the grip tabs can be stuck and re-stuck many times to make sure its fitted correctly or for quick checks. The channels around the legs keep everything inside the nappy. Even when baby is sitting. Cute designs too!
Reliable, No leaks or rashes, great customer service in case of product concerns

Very absorbant nappy

published

I was planning on using cloth full time for my son, but they didnt fit properly for quite a while. After trying ALL the cheaper brands, the last I tried was Huggies and they were the best. My son is a heavy wetter at night and would be absolutley soaked before morning came. But Huggies are the best. They have still leaked by morning unfortunately but only a littel bit. So Ive been using these at night and when going out the house. I dont know why I didnt try them first, it would have saved me alot of washing time.
Absorbant, boy/girl design. Slightly ethical practises by not chlorine bleaching
Price when not on special, adds to landfill. Sizes are small for the weight range.

My son was meant to be a full time cloth user, but after having to use the "huggies newborn" because he didn't fit in his cloth nappies, we have started using huggies for our overnight nappy because it is the most absorbent nappy we have found out there and has rarely leaked, we also like the fact that the cover is soft and doesn't have that plastic feel and that the tabs are re-seal-able in case they were dry and you want to reuse. The liner seems to be very breathable as my son has started sleeping 12-14 hours at night, he has never had a red bottom or nappy rash.
Excellent absorbency, very soft feel cover and breathable for babys butt
The price(unless you shop around for specials) and that they do contain chemicals and bleach

Huggies Crawler nappies are a great disposable that are very absorbent. I really like having the boy and girl designs with the absorbent panels located exactly where they are needed. This helps to minimise any leaks and in combination with the leg and back elastic help to contain any leaks. I always buy these in bulk boxes when on special which helps to make them a bit more affordable. We've also had no problems with nappy rash when using Huggies.
Bulk boxes available
Leg and back elastic give a snug fit and contain any leaks
Absorbent
Girl and boy designs available
Price, I only ever buy when on sale

This brand of nappies is quite expensive, but defnitely the best on the market. We have had the occasional leak, but there are some poos that no nappy can control, no matter how good a nappy it is.
They fit well and we have had very few leaks. Have never had a problem with nappy rash while using these nappies. They are very absorbent so you can leave them on for quite a while.
Quite expensive. We went through a lot of them, so I made sure to always buy them in bulk and preferably when they were on sale.

We are using these on my daughter at the moment and have used them for my son in the past. We have had no problems with them and have found them to be a quality product. I do only buy these on sale due them being quite expensive. Would never pay full price as they are on sale often. Have not had any problems with nappy rash since using these nappies.
Don't leak often. Fit well especially across the back. Hold a lot.
Can be expensive unless you buy the big boxes on sale. I wonder how much we are paying extra because they have Winnie the Pooh on them.

I love Huggies nappies and wouldn't buy another brand, due to the absorbency of them. They also keep the wetness away from baby's skin. If they got the size more accurate, I would have rated these as a 5.
Excellent absorbency, which means they are great overnight or for longer during the daytime.
The size does not seem quite right - my little girl is 8.5 kg but these seem to be getting a bit small. Also, she can't crawl as yet (most babies can't at this age/ weight) so I'm not sure why they are called crawlers!

Overall, great product and is very trusted amongst many mothers. I can trust that this nappy won't leak and doesn't give my daughter any sort of nappy rash.
These nappies are very absorbent. Lovely and cute designs on nappies (Winnie the Pooh). I love the fact that there are nappies for boys and girls and that they are different colours! Availble in bulk size boxes too.
These nappies are a little tight around my baby's thighs, however my daughter is a fairly chubby baby. These nappies can be a little expensive when you don't get them on sale. My daughter is nearly 9 kgs and these nappies are probably getting a little small even though they should last until 11 kgs.

I have been using Huggies Crawler nappies since bubs grew out of newborn size. Most mums I know recommend Huggies over any other nappy. I have tried other brands and they are just not as good. I know some mums keep Huggies for night time because they are super absorbent and use cheaper ones during the day but I use Huggies all the time because I love them and no other nappy is quite as absorbent or as well fitting.
Huggies fit my baby quite well and rarely leak. They are super absorbent which is especially great for night time.

Huggies has Infant size for 4-8kg. I use this when my baby nearly 5kg up to 7 kg. When he was 7 kg I realise the nappy is a bit too small as sometimes it leaked out. So I have to upgrade the nappy to Crawler from 8-11 kg. However with this nappy it is too big. Because it is too big it covered high up to the belly button. The top of the nappy not very soft so sometimes when the baby moved a lot the nappy kept rubbing the belly button causing redness of his belly button. I have to fold the top part when put him on crawler size. Untill he is bigger then I stop fold it. But yes I really love Huggies as it has excellent absorbancy.
Excellent absorbancy.
It doesnt fit well.

My baby has gone from huggies newborn to infant to crawler and not yet had nappy rash. I find the huggies nappies keep him dry even when he sleeps 10-11 hours overnight.
They are worth the extra money, you just need to make sure you always buy them when they are on sale and always keep your suply stocked up.
The huggies nappies fit very well. The velcro tabs can be adjusted, which you really need when your baby is wriggling around. The nappies aren't too bulky.
I wish they had a wetness indicator like the newborn nappies have.
