Don't waste your money
RZ4219An absolute waste of money, it started chewing belts from day one, couldn't be relied on to mow less than an acre of level grass each week without some sort of problem,
dealer supplied to wrong manual and didn't really want to know about the problems. I got rid of it and bought a Toro and have been happy ever since.
Well performing mower
RZ4621I agree with other reviewer about main deck belt not staying on. I had it serviced with local small engine mechanic & the belt came off during operation was constant problem, until I figured out by inserting a rubber bush from discarded shock absorber and fitted to the deck assembly. That was 3 years ago and I have not had any problems with deck belt. My mrs love it. She mowers about 3-4 acres with it. She rests it every 40-50 min to have short break, also give mower to cool down. She used it for 2-3 hours straight on a dense, long grass and m

It doesn't like sloped ground anymore than 45deg, however, it works wonder on gentle slope or flat ground. I had it for 6 years and apart from main deck belt coming off, there were no other problems or dramas.Absolutely junk, run from this mower!!!
RZ4622I bought this mower new as well as a new husqvarna weed eater at the same time. Weedeater ran maybe 10 minutes shut off and never ran again customer service said i'm sorry but there is nothing we will do. The mower has had a miss since 2 weeks old and has been to three different shops will still the same problem. This is a real belt eater also it refuses to keep belts on and after it throws it for about the third time the belt is ruined. Bottom line is Husqvarna is a terrible company these days and produces junk. In fact call the customer service when they answer "thank you for calling Husqvarna Poland" enough said. The only reason I rated this mower at one star is because there is no option for negative stars.

RZ4220Time and money waster, would never buy a husky again. The steel is cheap chinese, bends and brakes. The only good part of this mover is the motor, the rest is only good for boat anchor!!! Husqvarna should give all owners a refund.

Worst ever for blade belt staying on.
RZ4621The belt on this thing jumps off all the time. Sick and tired of it. Thinking about going to go buy another mower and use this one for target practice. I would strongly recommend staying away from this mower unless you like headaches and working on it all the time.
Show detailsHas been a good mower belt replaced after 3 years.
RZ4219Selonoid replaced on carburetor after about 4 years. Love zero turn mowers. Controls work good . Deck height easy to adjust. Easy to start. Mower is comfortable and is compact, will fit in close quarters better than my Cub Cadet mower. Spin on oil filter with oil drain hose makes it easy to change oil.

RZ Series Zero-TurnIts not too bad.. it does the job. Nice clean cut most of the time. couple of belt issues with it coming off, but probably from going over rough terrain.

Bunnings is better!
RZ4220I have returned this mower to fix it at least 12 times in two years. The belts will not engage unless tapped with a stick... The deck has fallen off and the left zero turn lever will not smoothly pass the engage arm. I think I am going slightly mad. In all honesty I have used a plastic Aldi mower which is better. I would like to return it' but feel embarrassed every time I call.

RZ4219Good points, works well on short grass (up to 8 inches) on very level ground, relatively easy to service.
Bad points, First day out, flooded every time on startup even with zero choke. Returned to dealer who could not find a fault after a week of "looking".
Noisy is an understatement and rides like a rodeo bull.
Front wheel axles have no lubrication points.
Chews belts very quickly, at first belt replacement I was supplied the incorrect belt as the dealer had not checked the updated service bulletin advising of a new belt part number.

What a turn out!
RZ42192 HRS won't turn left. 6 HRS destroyed deck belt. 20 HRS blade engaging cable snapped. 32 HRS sound developing in blade spindles, no grease nipples, snapped 4 bolts removing them! This mower doesn't like leaving the dealers shop! Would I buy another one? YES, but not a husky. Dealer has been supportive but hinted he may relinquish selling Huskies because of death threats!
Paid $4500 12 months ago for this mower,32 hrs on the clock, dealer offered me $1500 trade in,what a joke.!
Belts
RZ4219Bad design causes belt breakages. When the clutch is disengaged, the belt is loose and can fall under the RHS brake arm. When the clutch is next engaged, the belt runs under the brake arm, gets shredded and breaks. Suggest move keeper from front of RHS idler pulley 90 degrees towards centre.
Waste of money, and crap customer service
RZ4219I purchased my mower in December 2014. So it's 14 months old, in this time it has been back to the shop 3 times, and they have come to my house 1 to repair. All issues with the cutting deck, cables snapping, bolts snapping.
Then today mowing my lawn again yet another bolt snapped causing cutting deck not to operate. Waste of money will be taking back tomorrow to demand a full refund.

Easy to use and maintain
RZ Series Zero-TurnI wander why people give such a low comment about Husqvarna but as I am very beginner, and this was fun and joy to mow my 5 acre yards.
Fast enough and comfortable to mow every fortnight.
54 inch blade range is perfect for private use. I highly recommend to people this zero turn mower.
got rid of mine
RZ4219Started only half the time, and then it was so LOUD. Constant belt and pulley issues--the last of which was only fixed to my partial satisfaction. Finally traded it in on a quality machine.
This is what happens when a company tries to quickly design and build a machine to a price point instead of to a quality standard...the consumer ultimately pays the price.
Just does not perform
RZ3019This has been a waste of time and money! The catcher unit (3019) continually blocks and I have had it and my 42inch in for constant repairs mainly due to faulty parts like 3 broken pulley bolts, 1 link arm breaking, 2 pulleys breaking and as a result of these faults a couple of belts! As a commercial operator this has cost me a great deal of down time which has added up to money. What happened to German engineering? I can only assume they are not using superior quality steel in their parts. I have spent $10,000 on their machines and keep spending!! Very disappointed.
