Hustler fasttrak 52" 20hp kohler
Had it for years ran great other then but a small breaker, change oil, sharp blades and add gas. Going up steep hills always go up and down in rev just like any ZRT. I just trade it for a 60" 25hp kaw SD fastrak. Just because I could. good luck.
Last long great lawn mower all around
It was not a 60" SD well they didn't have SD when I got my 52"

Turn a real task into an enjoyable pastime.
Had not realised how easier it is to mow large areas so quickly and do it in comfort. The Hustler's zero-turn precise control and speed allows me to cover our 5 acres of garden and lawn in an afternoon. I use to wonder why it was fitted with 2 fuel tanks (about 40 litres) when it only uses about 10L. for the 5 acres. I suspect you could really ride it all day and comfortably mow a large city parkland with these tanks. Very strongly made and is truly commercial quality that can handle just about any terrain, and do a good job comfortably.
Fast, reliable, comfortable, a fun in the sun experience.
Does not have a beer fridge.

HUSTLER FASTRACK 48" Zero Turn Mower - Excellent.
At the early stages after buying the Hustler and very impressed. It has a 22HP Kawasaki FS651 series motor, (a very torquey V twin cylinder of 724cc). After extensive worldwide reading on mowing and landscaping forums this was one of the mowers that rarely has a negative word spoken about it. My local small engine expert also spoke volumes of the brand and he doesn't even sell them.
The robust nature of the construction is only seen on a few mowers and the whole unit speaks of good design and longevity.
Arriving home with the mower after 2...Read more

Now tried and tested
Since my last post I have now used this mower on my (currently) vacant block. I mowed three acres of paddock which varied from small bushes to thick tussocks. Something really more suited to a tractor fitted with a slasher - but I don’t have one! Now I did go slowly, mainly due to the very rough surface and to look after my back but the mower did not hesitate at all, in fact I was blown away with what it did. I started off with the deck at full height as I thought it may be too tough but soon lowered it and mowed to around a 50mm height, without a hitch. The paddock now looks like a football playing field and an inspection of the blades after showed then looking like new. Totally impressed and worth every cent paid!!

I now have well over 100 Hours on the FasTrack and I am still 'in love". It threw a belt a week or so ago. It was a bit like a jigsaw puzzle to work out how it went back on but actually not that har... Read more
d. Cause = ME. I had just mowed a lot of Cape Weed and it is very sloppy and wet and does clog the deck a bit so I chuck the mower in and out of gear and raise/lower the deck simultaneously to chuck out the buildup. The spring on the "jockey" pulley came free. I sued the opportunity to clean the underside of the deck which was the first time in ?? forever! Seriously, if I was to buy another mower tomorrow ... this would be it! The grunt is unbelievable. As a long time/old time motor bike rider I always knew Kawasaki made great motors - ordinary bikes. IMHO. (speaking about the past, don't attack me pls.)Mower is now seven years old and has never missed a beat to date. Still very happy. It starts easily runs strongly and mows anything. Have been through umpteen sets of blades, 1 belt as previously m... Read more
entioned (my fault), several oil changes, and filled tyre tubes with Green gunk to block a couple of punctures I got (from wire pieces). Great mower.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I've just bought a rural property and it comes with a Hustler FasTrak. It starts OK with the levers pushed outwards into the park position, and the deck clutch off. But the moment I pull the levers toward me, the engine stops - and starts again when I return the levers to the parking position. I can't figure out how to keep the engine running so I can actually start to get the mower to move! Any suggestions?

1/2" bit of plastic hose on it and empty into a container. The filter has a lip under it also which also helps to direct the residual oil and keeps things clean. The mower has been fault free.
