Wouldn’t look back
We bought this car, after writing off our BMW X5. We no longer wanted a car with the same price tag as the BMW but we still wanted some form of luxury Iike leather seats.
We first looked at Mazda CX-5 and when the salesman wanted to show us the Hyundai Tucson, we initially thought he’d be wasting his time. Anyways after having a test drive and a look through, we were sold.
The Hyundai’s warranty was also another selling point. 5 year, umlimited kilometres :-)
We find this is a great, little family car :-) bit squishy when Nannie comes too though but that’s okay

I like the moon roof
We bough the Tucson Active X with moon roof and it was really value for money. It's one of the biggest in the market and it can open all the way back as well. Makes the car so much breezy and the natural light is excellent with the moon roof.

Engine a bit weak but still a good drive
It's a good SUV for this price especially with the latest technology and leather seats and 18 inch alloys. However, the engine performance is a bit weak. The manual gear box is a bit hard to function as well as it's very easy to stall. Still a good buy in comparison to other same price SUV in the market.

LOVE MY TUCSON
Being a 30 year old family to be. The Tucson is just perfect, It does everything we need. we both love it.
we have never had a problem.
the only thing i do not like is no cd player. but in this day and age that is the way all new cars are now,
love my leather seats. got them leather conditioned and we just keep clean with baby wipes. i have never been a Hyundai fan. but my husband is a mechanic and says they cant be faulted now. super happy

Plaisant drive
Very pleasant to drive, however the passenger seat is quite low with no lever to correct it. I went to the dealer to find a solution but the sale person knew the problem and said there was nothing to be done. I also find the A/C button a bit complicated to operate while driving, one other button has to be on a specific position to be able to be activated. Petrol consumption, quite economical on motorway but goes quickly to 12L in the city unless we drive at 60 kmh. The back seats fold flat, very roomy. In the all it is great value for money.

got an active X with optional roof racks delivered last Friday, clock up 600 kms in 4 days of running around.
car is great, I didn't test drive as it was for my wife ( I'm still driving it, told her I want to make sure everything works before handling to her ) and it was between the CX5 and Tucson. read good motor review on Tucson, went to dealership to sit in it to make sure room is ok and bought it.
mileage currently at 8L/100km but I'm driving a bit of freeway. car is quiet despite the roof racks fitted. tyre and wind noise is benchmark f...Read more
