Very smooth and luxurious
Our Tucson gets used everyday of the week, and so far it has been great. All the comforts of a luxury car but without the price tag. We bought a large SUV to make way for our growing family, and thus far we have had no problems with it. We love the automatic lights, push start, push button back door and all the tech stuff inside. On the downside, it does fail (at times) to change gears properly while on the road and has a lag in changing gears at the right times. The transmission by hyundai is the major let down. But apart from that, a beautiful car!

Great Car & very competitive in the market
Having searched the market for a new family car and deciding on the Tucson we are very happy. The Car and it’s inclusions are very competitive with others in the market and has great value for money. One thing we really liked with the Tucson is the room still available to the front passenger despite having a rear facing car seat behind and also the air con vents for the back seat passengers. In comparison with other models we found the air con didn’t circulate well enough for the back seat and the passenger seat had to be very close to the dashboard with no leg room once our Newborns car seat was in.

Great car, lots of extras you don't with other manufacturers
I got the Elite model. I purchased this car to help with my back issues and so far it has been good. Haven't had to bend my back in crazy positions to get kids in and out of the car, and no bending to get shopping bags out of the boot. But you get that with all SUVs.
What sets it aside is this car is pretty brilliant for the price you pay; you certainly get your money worth in terms of the gadgets and technology included such as hill break assist, integrated bluetooth, handsfree phone, individual climate control, keyless entry and gps/naviga...Read more
tion system, automatic lights, wipers, tinted glass etc etc. I am not a car person but I do enjoy driving the Tucson. I feel much safer in this than my old car as I can see so much more, and the reversing camera makes parking SO EASY. It seems to handle well and gives me all the power I need for city/suburban driving. No breakdowns but I have accidently unlocked the boot a few times. I put this down to having things in my pocket with the keys, but I love that the boot opens by itself when I have my hands full...life saver! So there is no way I would disable this function (I might get a key cover though!). It's a little niggle but I think the only thing Hyundai need to do is to make sure their sales staff don't lead people astray when it comes to promising certain updates with the in car systems, and also to make sure the servicing team knows how to update the software on the car! They are the 2 main negative experiences with the car; not being an issue with the car itself. I am happy with the purchase and I recommend this as it has a 5 year warranty and roadside assist which is a bonus so they really do stand by their product. Capped priced servicing is good too. It's a beautifully styled car, very sporty looking. Lastly, I can fit 2 huge car seats in the back (can still just squeeze a third person in the middle) and still provides heaps of room in the front cabin. Boot size is reasonably large - pram and shopping and odds and ends fit without a drama.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Worth every Buck
Bought our first SUV and after a lot of research and restricted budget, zeroed on Tucson Elite and am really happy with our decision. The driving experience is really great, smooth, well controlled and easy to manoeuvre. On highways the noise is very controlled and the features this vehicle comes with is worth every buck that can be spent. The vehicle is strong and even smallest things like seat belts are much more comfortable than higher price models.
The only thing that I have not liked so far is that it needs more revs to wizz it through.
It is really a reliable car and am yet to figure out the running cost.
