Then at the same time they drew on our credit card for a second payment and we were charged late fee again. They refused to admit they had two payments, we had to send our records as proof. Where were their records?!
On top of all their blunders they threatened legal action, further fines and bad crediting rating records for not paying them the fee for the over payment being non direct. Unbelievable.

Won't allow to cancel somehow accessed bank account after "cancelling"
Called/emailed/wrote a letter to cancel service then cancelled direct debit which they should not of had access to, Possibly using personal information to access bank, Continued to send bills, called them up to cancel again after 3 months since they kept sending bills they claimed we needed to pay our overdue bill before we can cancel -reason for cancelling Bad service as a provider for the value and customer service cannot comprehend wanting to cancel, Tread carefully with sharing personal info as they are most likely a scam, Thought account # and pass code should be enough,

Australia should revoke their licence
Without question the worst service, the biggest bunch of liars you are ever likely to meet in this industry. If you are a business, stay well clear as three months in, we are still waiting for our land lines to be hooked up after moving office. Our internet took over a month to establish. These people are totally incompetent.

The customer service is like hell and talking to a kindergarten toddler when it comes to their technical supports.
At first, when signing up for contract promised so many damn good things then they provide no quality.

This comany is very dangerous.
When I got a new land line, I could not use it even for one second. I contacted the technical support who did not fix it. It lasted around two months and I continued paying for the phone but not able to use it even one second. Then, I decided to cancel the service and I had to pay the cancellation fee. I am still using their internet service. I explained them about that several times but I was unsuccesful to do anything regarding that. It is a shame that customers don't have any protections.

Took over Roundcube Webmail & can not access again
IFTelecom took over Roundcube Webmail and after many repeated attempts to access my account I am still unable to get my email. If I get a chance and get to my email I will re-direct all emails & get as far from this company as possible!! Put on hold for extended times; Lack of resolution; Poor Service; Got me locked to my email account but no access ... Just a Terrible Company!!

Appalling service
I have been with Iftel 2 years and resigned again in October 2017. Since resigning my internet/house phone has been off line a number of times. 1ST call 24mins to be connected to tech services. Disconnected twice due to my phone only working in certain parts of the house and over 2 days before they said it was a NBN fault. Last night spent 2 hours on the phone reconfiguring etc to no avail. result connected again. Whilst I continue to tell the agent He's doing it differently to the last bloke He very firmly tells me to follow instructions. This is my day off (only time I have to spend all this time courting Iftel) and again and cop this because I don't use my internet every day it forgets the passwords hence my disconnection. Any one with this same problem being away from home for 2 weeks means your service gets the and disconnects you. Greedy Uncaring Company!!!
This unhelpful greedy company, deciding that they would renew a contract of my elderly friend for another 24 months without being asked, and WITHOUT an option for her to switch to the NBN at the time, now want her to pay for the contract termination fee as she had to get the NBN elsewhere!! My neighbour could not understand any calls from the operators when they spoke to her. What a massive rip off this company is!! They have mad us both so angry the star rating should read - 'Beyond Terrible'.

They are an absolute joke of a company my grandparents have been getting ripped of for years and they have the balls to try and make them feel bad for leaving and getting a bette deal service is appalling and staff are rude definitely don’t use them there overpriced anyway

The very worse AVOID at all cost
I have been running round in circles for months with this company. I keep getting accounts in spite of being disconnected and waiting to port to a new provider. I'm now told there was 10 minute wait to speak to a 'consultant' so I hung up.I wonder how long the wait would be if I was requesting to sign up!!

Ever since I was 'pushed' into signing up and getting NBN before I was even meant to or due to my line has never worked properly for more than a week! I'm a small business and I hope iftelecom are going to compensate for the business I am now LOSING!

I installed the modem for my elderly neighbour, but it would'nt work, so she rang IF Telecom for help.After an hour talking to someone that 1/ couldn't speak english well enough and 2/ was extremely arrogant, impatient and rude,and did everything but say straight out that we were stupid, it still wasn't working. Got another friend
to try, had the same experience. After calls three days running, they finally sent a technician whom immediately said the splitter provided in the kit was illegal and caused the problem! These people had my neighbour in tears and totally stressed!

A Joke Of A Service.
I have Been All up with IF Telecom/ZOOM TALK for 3 years and a bit years . was with there first Company Zoom Talk for just over 2 and a bit years.
They would have to be the most annoying/rude customer service representatives i have ever spoken with over the phone. The type of customer service representative who has placed themselves in a role as a sales representative but still works under the name CUSTOMER service. I think the title is SALES guys. Disaster
Pushed into nbn with this company.Only to be without internet for 11 days,i demanded head office phone number which they would NOT give! Supervisor then came on phone,after 2& half hrs later she said all sorted.Next day land line disconnected and two devices cant pick up wifi so far im at day 16 with no help what so ever! Im now going to take further action.this so called company is a absolute joke.

Avoid this company at any cost
I don't have the internet more than 8 days and I don't know when I will get it again. They introduced NBN. They told me that they would charge me $199 if they find anything wrong on my property. However, they could not find anything wrong on my property as told by a technician but they still charged me $199 and of course there is no internet connection. NEVER AGAIN....AVOID!
Like other reviewers I have had an very unsatisfactory experience with "IF Telecom/Telcotalk/???" - I think they have had at least 3 names in the 23 months I have dealt with them. The service support provided has been very limited (no weekend support), rarely helpful and no returned calls. However they have been very quick to call me to remind me of an over due account - one call was for $0.11! after the bill is due. I have also been bombarded with ongoing daily phone calls demanding to know why I won't connect the NBN thru "IF Telecom/Telcotalk/???". I have had sales staff demand to know why I won't sign up with them, tell me I am rude and refuse to listen to "No" - no matter how many times I say it. Horrible company, bad service!
We used this mob at work and as soon as NBN was available in our area they contacted me and the sales rep was extremely pushy in selling me the NBN package even after I told him I had to run it by my boss first. He never once told me our phones were to change to voip as I didn't know much, if anything about this voip system. In turn when it was time to change to NBN we lost our phones...no incoming calls and no making outbound calls. ers diverted to a mobile and we lost all the other incoming numbers including fax so we could not receive more than one call. This was a disaster!!! After contacting our IT guru we were then informed by him that in order to use voip we had to upgrade our phones as the ones we used were pretty old and not compatible to use voip, another bit of information the If telecom rep failed to mention. That was one of many problems that occured including not having internet as well. I have spoken to so many people there that I should be charging them for my time! We have changed providers now but If telecom want to charge us $90 disconnection fee for each phone number we had with them for breaking contract, I'm sorry we are not paying for a service that never worked in the first place, your company is a scam you know why I say SCAM? because another rep contacted me to try and tell me that our NBN was still with your company when I know for a fact it is no longer with you. My warning to you all stay away from any telecommunications company that have their call centres overseas look for one based in Australia, we did and it's the best support we ever had!! I can only assume you have taken up a Red/IF telecom service, If that is the case, I can only recommend you completely forget that service as it will be non-existent, then contact Telstra and get a prepaid sim service, maybe even consider ALDI mobile as they use Telstra backbone as its the most reliable network with the best coverage (albeit it more expensive) though as far as RED are concerned, do not remotely expect them to help or even get back to you..once they have your money, you will never hear from them again. The smart move is to get a new phone if your RED/IF supplied phone is locked to their service (an unlocked Samsung A20 is a good choice both for performance and cost) and get a Telstra sim prepaid service to give you the best chance at decent reception. I hope that helps.
