Good health.....bad behaviour
I have used Incremin on and off over the last 2-3 years at the recommendation of others. I have found my son (6) has had less colds and generally better health, however everytime we use it, he gets aggressive and easily annoyed at things which wouldn't normally annoy him. Once we stop it, behaviour returns to normal. I would love to know why.....we will be trying another product as it is quite clear he isnt a happy boy while taking it

Love this stuff
Was given Incremin as a child and loved the taste. I looked forward to getting a spoon full :-)
Only disappointed that they removed the giraffe from the packaging as this is what it was know for!
Full of good stuff for dietary supplementation. Glad it’s still made and used by people.

This is great
It's really beneficial for my little one.
Every time she was complaining that food make her full after only one bite. Once I started this her appetite coming back to normal. And she is having better sleep too. I would like to recommend this to the who are really fussy in eating.

My child acted very aggressive and annoyed while taking Incremin
I have used it while my 8 year old was younger around 4 years of age and found she was very agressive and easily annoyed while on it. Once I stopped she was behaving normal again. I have tried it in between then and now and have also tried it again just recently and still have the same reaction?!? I'm sure this is very useful but I would look out for reactions like this.
I would love to know if this has happened to anyone else?

My child was refusing to eat, has having extreme mood swings and was excessively tired. The pharmacist recommended incremin upon a discussion regarding our concerns and it has done wonders. My daughter is now eating three normal meals, plus snacks each day, she is no longer experiencing the extreme mood swings and behavioural issues we were seeing every day and sleeping patterns have returned to normal. I would definitely recommend speaking to your pharmacist about this product to see if it can I help your little ones if they are experiencing similar issues.

Affected my LO's sleep
We believe this medicine affected our 4 yr old's sleep so we decided to stop this medicine after 2 weeks as a trial. Within 48 hrs her sleep patterns started to return to normal - along with her mood !! Strong coincidence possibly, but we won't be giving it to her again.

Gave my kids sore tummys & constipation & only slightly raised their iron levels.
When I found out 2 of my children had anaemia, the pharmacist recommended Incremin. After 2 weeks of taking the recommended dose the children, especially my oldest stopped eating because they felt so sick. They didnt eat for over a day. They had constipation, & tummy pains. After a 2 day break I started giving them half a dose every second day then after a week the full dose every second day. The same thing happened a few days later & they wouldnt eat. Not so helpful when you are trying to increase iron levels! After 6 weeks (4 on Incremin & 2 ...Read more
on floradix) there iron levels had only slightly increased. (Along with this we were eating red meat 4 times a week) I have found an Ethical nutrients supplement Iron Max. The iron is an amino acid chelate & much more gentle on their tummies, hopefully it will also boost their iron levels dramatically too!! Nothing Gave the kids constipation & only raised iron levels slightly.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I remember this when I was a kid, so naturally I turned to a familiar product for my 2 kids, it really helps increase there appetite and they fight over who will go first, the taste is great too!
It has a great taste and the girrafe on the front really helps I tell my children it's girrafe medicine

My kids love the taste (it tastes exactly the same as it did when I was a kid). I never have problems convincing them to have it. My kids are really fussy eaters and quite often become low in iron but within a few days of being on Incremin they are full of beans and back to their old selves. Some times they get a little constipated but we usually counteract that by giving them pear juice in the morning. I would highly recomend it for fussy kids.
It really works!
Only that it's very sticky when it gets spilled.

I have known Incremin since I was young. In my home country, this is a very popular supplement for kids. It is known in boosting kids' appetite. I remember my mom gave this to my youngest sister because she was so sickly as a kid. That's why I am very familiar with this brand.
When I became a mother, I started worrying about my son who is a very fussy eater. He does not eat anything but plain pasta, plain rice, plain bread, a bit of chicken sometimes. When he gets sick of one food he won’t eat it anymore, no matter what. Our family do...Read more
ctor recommended Incremin to boost his appetite. Truly indeed, my son maintains good appetite. Although he is still very choosy with food, he would eat sufficiently which makes me happy and content. Very effective appetite booster, contains Iron1 comment

AMAZING - helps keep my child calm and get to sleep and STAY asleep!
This product is AMAZING - had a friend recommend it to me. Her son has Autism and has trouble sleeping. I tried it on my child, and she's gone from massive meltdowns at bedtime to being very calm and going to sleep without arguments. Tried NOT giving it to her, and the 4 times that I didn't her behaviour was out of control.
Helps my child calm herself and get to sleep.

My mother gave my brother and I this 'tonic' every time we were recovering from an illness to pick us up and give us an appetite and it does work. I have used it over the years on my children for the same reasons. We call it the 'giraffe medicine' and it's no worries trying to get it into them, it has a great cherry flavour and they always ask for more. The only disadvantage with Incremin, is being an iron supplement it can cause constipation or diarrohea but I have only struck this once with my kids and most likely it was to do with the illness they had not the Incremin as we have used it many other times with no upset stomachs.
Good reliable product
Can upset the bowel

It gives me peace of mind. I give it to her everyday with her carrot and apple juice that I make for her in the morning. If she has drunk that then I feel okay about sending her off to kindy 3 days a week. I really don't like to think about how she would cope without it.
My daughter doesn't eat red meat and if I give her this then I don't worry so much about it. (In fact she won't eat a lot of things)

This is excellent, my daugther is a terrible eater and when she is sick with a cold or ear infections usually resulting from day care, she will not eat. This really increases her appetite, I just wish I used it sooner

most kids go through phases where they don't want to eat so it's a handy item to have in the medicine cupboard. Inexpensive, non addictive, easy short term answer to one of the probs that come with kids.
the kids like the taste, easy to administer
none, it was actually recommended by our GP if in doubt ask your gp

Every time my son lost his appetite, I give him incremin. He loves the taste, and within 2 weeks his appetite is back. When I want to give it to him, he'll ask, "What is it mommy?" I'll say,"It's your vitamin, the yummy giraffe".
After I arrived to Brisbane from my home country, my son lost his appetite and became thinner and thinner. So after I checked with pharmacist, I saw the Incremin has speciality in iron to help kids to increase the appetite or get back their energy. And it did work, he got back his appetite and back to his normal weight.

Hahaha, exactly the same here! Loved it when I was a kid and disappointed to find that they removed the giraffe as I knew it as ‘gifaffe medicine’ !
