Junk insurance by DudPath
Don't ever try to make a TPD claim via your industry fund on Onepath . They will treat you like a criminal, spend 3 or 4 months wasting your time trying to find any reason to not pay.. When they can't find one they will just keep concocting ever more bizarre requests to doctors that have nothing to do with the policy but is about stringing you along. You will most likely have to sue to get your money AVOID.. I have complained also to CEO of the co-owner professional association. That utilises Dudpath-nil reply. Amusingly they did end up paying ...
Read moreme late payment interest for improperly delaying my claim but only after an initial failed attempt to give me the flick when claiming this.. Persistence pays off with this crowd but still to be avoided at all costs.
Awful, stay away !
Been trying to move my money to another account and I have sent in everything that was requested and I have waited over two weeks. Now they want even more forms etc sent in even though they weren't originally required . The customer service is non existent especially from one [censored word removed] named [name removed]. Rude, arrogant, doesn't listen at all. I would never ever have anyone put their money with these fools if i could help it. Currently on the phone to my lawyer about this lot.

Worst service in my entire life - AVOID!
I work in the Financial Industry and had to contact ONE PATH on behalf of a client. Repeated requests for information fell on deaf ears - Our client who is in his 70's was given the run-a-round over the phone while he was even at our front counter requesting ONE PATH give our firm access to his details! They had been taking money from him for years, but as soon as he requested information they 'stonewalled' him, We will jump through you stupid hoops ONE PATH - get the information you require and then CANCEL EVERYTHING. I would advise anyone who has money to waste - see ONE PATH. Once they have it - you will not see it again.

Awful Customer Service
I've been trying to withdraw my super fund with onepath for a few months now. Have experienced absolutely terrible customer service. A different person replies to my emails everytime and no details are saved on file so I have to repeat everything several times. This applies to forms sent too. I was told the only thing I needed to post was my certified passport copy and the rest of the forms could be provided by email which i did. Now they are saying all forms have to be sent by post. I live overseas and don't like sending my bank details in the post. It seems they are just trying to delay closing my account. Very frustrating. I highly recommend choosing a different superfund.

Worst super fund in the world
If your thinking of joining one path super or getting any sort of Insurance with them or ANZ . All I can say is Don't. I am in the process of letting my late husbands employer know how mistreated I've been. They employ a lot of people, so hopefully they will change super provider after learning the lack of service I received.
Poor customer service. Lots of lies.
The greediest worse super fund
My husband passed away in Feb this year it is now July and we still don't have anything. My children are the beneficiaries....2 are over 21 while the third is 16. Now they are saying that they will not pay out the 16 year old, they will put his money in a trust fund and won't release it till he is 18. What right do they have to keep the money. People use these funds as a way to either support themselves in their old age or to support their loved ones when something happens.they are quick to take the money but it is a fight to get what is owing. I am with first state super, as were the rest of my family and they had no problems receiving their money.not worth any stars...
Bad service..don't give you what you are owed
NOT HAPPY.........
I have been with onepath super and insurance for years and have never missed my annual fees, but now I have needed to make a claim they don't want to know me. I have been suffering from epelypsy and having upto 30 a day my memory has been very bad and I forget alot of things and now they are saying that I have not said the truth and it is going to the underlining team and they may reduce my claim. It is not fair I took out this policy so myself and my family would be covered and now I can't even put food on the table and bills are pilling up I have been so unwell this shouldn't be happening . I would suggest to enyone who is thinking of using onepath be very careful. You can call me on 0468421440 to have a chat.
Nothing
They don't pay out.

Absolute Disgrace
Having not received a single communication for over a year from these guys I guessed something was up... I phoned customer service to ask how that is possible and what the hell was going on with my super not increasing at all, no employer contributions for 12 months showing online, I was accused by customer service of not letting the company know I had moved address, despite me explaining to the lad that i had updated my address and email online on my super account. He actually argued with me over this, yes great customer service OnePath!! i th...

I then explained again my details had changed when he read my email out to me and i explained i shut that email account over 2 years ago the poor guy was terribly confused. I explained again how my details online at changed. He couldn't seem to grasp an error had occurred on their system somewhere, not good enough. He then went on to explain that they had written to me to transfer all my new super contributions to a new account as of the new financial year, without any authorisation from me! He explained we wrote to you... Uh, hang on you wrote to me at the wrong address that I changed online, are you for real. Absolutely shocking, despite a bad ROI for this super and setting up a new account this was the final straw... DO NOT USE THIS SUPER... I set up a new super and am happy to be rid... An absolute joke... First review I have ever written on this site as people need to stay away from this toxic super...- 4 reviews

15 weeks to get my super
ANZ Onepath withheld my super for 3 & half months .
My cheque was lost in their system & nobody did anything about it for over 30 days even though I made multiple calls to there CALL CENTRE.
ANZ onepath operates a stall cantre & if they don't sort your problem within a couple of calls you should resort to email & letter & keep copies.
ANZ onepath is totally incompetent & uncaring to customers.
They will not assist in resolving you problem & in the process will lie to you - but nothing gets done.
They will also reduce the amount owed to...

how can a superfund return a negative result in the last 12 months
I just find it inconceivable that this fund can make a loss in the last 12 months in a balanced super investment.
Given industry returns last three years have been between 9% and 13% over the last year for the top 10 performers, so given this has returned negative growth means that the management of these funds has been exceptionally poor.
These funds should be scrutinised very closely as to how they can perform so badly, would not be so aggrieved if it was positive but negative in a balanced fund is just hopeless..... not sure they will be around if they keep this up!!
Took me 8 weeks to get my money out of an investment account
This organisation is still unable to transfer money into my account. I started this process 7 weeks ago. They take longer to open their mail than it does for me to recieve a parcel from America (5 days). They keep telling me they will "escalate" my application but three times on and still nothing! Forms are not clear, no followup, no one seems to know what they are doing. Investment has not gained financially since they took over from ING (who were good). I intend to close my other investments once I have had a chance to look at other produc...

Why cant I give this useless company 0 stars.
Minimum is 1 star which they don't deserve.
I am yet to make any money from my superaccount.
I joined one of there funds with an old employer.
Changed Jobs and they changed my management fees and insurance premium without notifying at all.
It took 3 calls and 2 emails(email response times are at least 5 working days) before I found out why I was being charged more and what the nonsense in the Transaction List actually was.
Like most companies they are just sucking the life from you retirement savings.
Most people would earn more from a savings account.
Customer Service is terrible, Wait times are terrible, Fees are shocking, changing of price regularly and without notifying you,Watch as you loose money.

Terrible service
What ever you do, don't deal with this company. Started a policy about 20 years ago agreeing to pay 23 dollars per month. In the last few years I paid several thousand dollars of my superannuation into the same account.
Lost my job so will retire at age 55 years. Onepath said that they will take 10 percent of the balance of the account because I need to access it earlier. I could understand them taking a small amount relating to the agreed monthly amount of $23; but to take ten percent of the thousands of dollars which were deposited ou...
Read moretside of the original agreement is Highway robbery. Have sent info. to the Superannuation Complaints tribunal. Hopefully they will assist; but I'm not holding my breath. I must re-iterate don't deal with Onepath if you think you may want early retirement. Tell your friends and relatives. Just as well I did not deposit $100,000 they would have taken ten thousand dollars!worst website, poor customer service, woeful fund performance
Here's what I was going to write in the feedback form but couldn't send because it has a character limit. They don't have a published email address to send through feed back either.
Dear OnePath,
I am very angry and disappointed with the login and password recovery process.
First, despite changing my password twice and entering it correctly, the site won't log me in as it thinks my password/login is incorrect - this is a glitch and is completely infuriating.
Second, when I have 'forgotten' my password, I want to retrieve it - not ch...

I don't write any of my passwords down for internet access and (like most people) I am not capable of remembering 14 different passwords. Your security policy jeopardises the security of my personal information by forcing me to write passwords down.- 168 reviews

OK
This really is only a good super option if you are working for someone else and have employer-sponsored contributions. Otherwise it is a little expensive, which is surprising given ING's record with other financial products. It's very difficult to work out your transaction history on the website, which is one of the poorest I've seen from a super fund. But it does offer an excellent range of investment options.
Competitive fees if you're on an employer-sponsored plan, and good range of investment choices.
Expensive if you leave work and end up on the corporate plan. Very hard to navigate webiste and keep track of transactions.

OK
I have found this to be a great super fund and with the online website I can keep regular track of how my super is doing. The fees are not too bad and I like how I can easily change my investment options online at any time.
I have been with ING Super for some time now and have found them to offer a pretty good super fund which you can change at any time. The fees are pretty competitive and there are lots of different investment schemes to choose from. You have ready access to your account anytime online.
Terrible
This year's return on our Capital Guaranteed Fund (0.19%) is twice as bad as the previous year's (0.39%), which was the year of the GFC. Their interactions with this client was unprofessional, bordering on incompetent. Attempting to obtain information pertaining to the reason behind this years poor performance is frustrating in the extreme - like having ones toenails ripped off - slowly. They are either incredibly stupid, or they think that I am!
At the moment none
Have been with this company for many years/decades. The past four have been disastrous. In my humble opinion their actions have been unprofessional, bordering on the incompetent.

Super is getting less and less... and negative now !!
Don't understand why the government let all super fund charge "the fees" but the investment earning is so little that it deducts the original contribution month by month... and now... even turns negative !!
Why onepath don't have the rebate of fee for account balance less than $1,000, as in MLC ? Isn't it a government regulation?
I would rather put my money into any one of the banks.
Don't like super at all !!
no rebate of fee

If any other business just sent out invoices (or actually dipped into your bank account and took the money) for services you'd never requested they'd end up in court.
ING "Sold" me life insurance @ $500/year on top of my super account (& just took the funds directly from my super) without me every requesting it or agreeing to it, relying on the fact that most younger people don't look too closely at their super, and requiring you to opt-out in writing in order to get it cancelled. Apparently my silence amounted to acceptance to "buy" this over...
Read morepriced service that I'd never wanted or requested. If it were any other industry (where the supplier doesn't already have their hands on your money) you'd simply refuse to pay, but just try getting the money back of them when they've already got it.- 3 reviews

We have just rolled over to another superfund April 2008.Found out in March 2008 that in Feb.we had a lost of $23,000 from our fund.We weren't informed until March when we were enquiring about our investments. We were told it would pick up.It didn't.Our savings,Our loss...who gained???(money for their commercials that got us in, in the first place?)Financial adviser who was handling our investments at the Bank, quit his position.WE had only a small amount left to rollover. We will be retiring in a few years,it seems unfair.
Large amount of loss.

Good
I was just reading the last review on this product and really wanted to clarify the point about the insurance the client was "sold". I am going to assume that the ING super fund that Customer99 was invested in was part of an employer fund - the employer automatically opened the fund for he/she when they started work there.
Under the Choice of Super laws, an employer MUST chose a fund with a minimum level of death insurance. This comes at a cost to the employee - the premiums for this minimum level of cover come out of your super fund as you ...
Read morementioned - you pay for it. It is not ING who are wanting to scam you out of your money, it is compulsory for them to do so if you have joined under an employer group scheme. I don't really feel it's fair to rate ING on something which they legally have to do and it would be no different if your employer chose Rest, Hesta, AMP or any other fund. You can cancel the compulsory insurance, or you can choose another super fund, which won't have compulsory insurance as you would not be joining it as part of your employer's default. Offers quite a few investment options, good features. Is probably more expensive than some other products.Other Retail Superannuation Funds
