Often Good, Sometimes Bad
Most the staff are brilliant but the sexist ones go out of their way to ignore you; these ones are not helpful at all. Its a bit of a lucky/unlucky dip and it makes me think twice about this store.

Non existent service at Cremorne
I really don't know why some people are in business.
We made a special trip today to the Cremorne store. Basically we have a large project on a multi storey building and needed to paint timbers to match the wall colour.
A young guy greeted us and asked how he could help. I told him that I needed some assistance to match Regency White - a specified Dulux paint colour.
His reply.....
''All colours will match that colour"
''Really'', I said, ''even black? You are joking aren't you''?
He said ''all colours will match all other colours - it just depends on what you want''. ...Read more
I was a bit gob smacked by this inanity - these people are also supposed to be colour consultants. An older person, I assume the store manager'' piped up from behind the counter and said ''White will be OK'' Great. What variation of white? There may be 50 .Totally unhelpful and uninterested. The young guy then said ''we are closing now'' and walked off. We wasted 45 minutes of our time and they missed out on selling aroundy $640.00 worth of paint which we bought from Bunnings who could not have been more helpful.Similar opinion? Visited inspirations paint to purchase two cans of paint for $280.00, While i was in there i told them about a roller frame i purchased previously and explained that the thread was faulty on the roller and it will not tighten and asked for a replacement, the attendant told me no! and went on to say that it was the luck of the draw and had a chuckle to himself whilst telling me this!! I contacted inspiration paints head office and the representative said she would send me a $20.00 voucher to use at the store, the next day the same rep phon...Read more

Matching a colour.
I went to Inspirations at Loganlea to match a colour and they told me to cut off a small piece of the paint and bring it back to match. They used their machine but did not show me the paint in the tin. The chap in charge showed me the sample I had brought in and told me the corner had been painted with the new colour, I realised later I had not seen him do this. Trying the paint at home the colour was too dark so I returned to Inspirations. They told me they could not make paint lighter and the chap in charge told me the same thing, so I had ...Read more
to leave. I have been to other paint shops and large hardware stores and they have done their best to correct shades, one shop even replaced 4 litres of paint for free. I went to Inspirations because it was closer but I can get better results else where.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great service and advice
I have just returned from visiting Inspirations Paint Shop at Old Northern Road, Dural and am truly impressed. I do not have any expertise at all re painting so went there hoping to find out how to go about my project. I was lucky enough to speak with Joseph, who explained in great detail just how to go about doing the paint job I was embarking upon. I came away much more confident and really looking forward to starting the job. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine which customers can use whilst waiting for their paint to be mixed. The most...Read more
important thing for me was to have someone really take the time to discuss just what I wanted to do and advise me accordingly. Well done to Inspirations Paint – I will definitely be returning - probably for more advice on my next project.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
