To or Not To use Olive Oil
I’ve been using the Jamie Oliver Tefal cookware for many years. I was told not to use olive oil when I purchased them. As I want to make healthier oil choices in cooking, I’ve started cooking with olive oil on a gentle heat.
This has definitely affected the surface of the cookware.
What are the manufacturing recommendations on this?
Otherwise I have been happy with the quality and longevity

Disaster
Followed all care instructions, coating almost instantly started to peel and flake into food. We are throwing away now after 12 months of use. The worst cookware I ever bought.
Purchased in at David Jones for $500.

Don’t waste your money.
I bought the Jamie Oliver Tefal cookware around 7 months ago. The non-stick surface has already blistered and the red dot heat indicator is gone. On top of that when you contact Tefal they fob you off and refer you to their warranty where they state that they don’t warranty because of overheating. Note that Tefal is happy to sell you a product to heat your food and also a product that can be used in the oven but then they will not honour the warranty because they hide behind the ‘overheat’ excuse. Don’t waste your money.

Very disappointed.
I am currently throwing out a wok and a frypan. The non stick surface is not non stick. I have looked after these 2 pans as a chef would - done everything right but after 12 months they're just a bunch of crap. Now I've got to go out and buy again when I thought I wouldn't need too. Very angry!

Questions & Answers
My Jamie Oliver teflon fry pan has started peeling around the rivets and is no longer super non stick. Very disappointing. Can the pan still be used if it's peeling? Is the peel harmful?
I wouldn't continue using. Worst pans I ever bought mine went in the bin after a year. Can't believe Jamie puts his name to this.
I'd bet anything Jamie wouldn't be caught dead using them at home. It's a celebrity name on a piece of rubbish that is known and proven to be bad for your health. Those little bits of Teflon that are missing ended up in your food.
I’ve just inboxed my new JO HA wok. Super excited. I’ve just noticed however, that there are a couple of “tacky” glue like spots on the inside of the base. Thinking that they were a bit of sticky packing residue, I have tried to take them off gently with my thumb nail, but they won’t budge. Too scared to try anything sharper as I don’t want to scratch the non stick base. Any ideas?
