It seems that many people are quick to complain, but that not many leave reviews when things go well! I recently purchased a cross trainer from the Heidelberg Store, on a Saturday, the one staff member was pleasant, informative and managed to efficiently deal with 3 people who all wanted her attention, as well as take phone calls !
The Cross trainer was delivered on the following Wednesday- and so far, fingers crossed, works well !

I purchased on the understanding that any repairs required for the first 12 months would be covered and undertaken by a technician in my home, and the next 12 months would require return to base. If I have any problems I shall advise !and 2 years later.. all is still working well so I guess the proof was in that pudding :) if it dies tomorrow.. then what I got was good value for money... if it died 12 months ago I was a winner... it is all in how you look at things I guess :)

Read morequipment. Not just us, any vendor or retail organization would expect you to purchase a replacement part if it has been lost or misplaced. Such items are not covered under warranty. Then you changed the story to say that your treadmill never came with a safety key (important to mention you purchased your treadmill in July 2015 and this is your first contact with us in March 2016). Upon your call being forwarded to the service/parts department, you changed your statement once again to have broken the safety key and was asked by the service manager to please post back the broken item which you were unwilling to do which lead us to believe that your original statement about the item being lost was rather correct. You were quoted a price of $35 for a replacement key to be sent out to you which you were unwilling to pay for. We admit that the call was cut short after we asked you to speak nicely while you continued to use unethical tone against our employees.I ordered a treadmill online. I was happy with the prompt response. I was able to collect it the same day I ordered it. Delivery was going to be $65.00 for a 4.3k trip. So I elected to pick it up.
The same day I assembled it and it didn’t work. I contacted Just Fitness and a technician walked me through what could possibly be wrong. All seemed to be I’m order. At the end of the conversation he advised that someone would have to come and look at it. Someone from Just Fitness would contact me.

After all when you purchase something new you expect it to work. I advised that this was rather difficult for me to bring it back as it would be difficult to get it in the car. His response was that it is not very heavy and it shouldn’t be an issue because I did not have far to take it and how did I bring it home yesterday. Yesterday my husband was there to help. Distance wasn’t the issue the size and weight of the treadmill was. I ended up bringing back the handle bars with the display unit because it was the easiest to bring back. This unit worked. It had to be the base unit. I managed to get the base unit in the car on my own. LOL! Two men took it out of my car!!! The base unit was faulty, it was fixed on the spot. I am not happy because I paid for a working unit and got one that didn’t work, then I had to waste my time taking it backwards and forwards to your warehouse when I had previously been advised that someone would come to me. Surely things are tested before they are dispatched!! I am not happy with the service I have received. I should have paid more attention to the negative feedback that I read on the internet because in this instance it has come true. So glad I didn't pay $65.00 for delivery!!

Read more Please understand when you buy a product online and choose to pick it up yourself, place a check mark at the checkout to specify that you have read the terms and conditions of the purchase, item suitability, requirements and warranty etc. In this case the item purchased was offered only with a "back to base" warranty as specified on treadmills specification page. The item was assessed by our technicians the same day it was returned to base, which in our view is a very efficient and respectable service. All the items sent out of our warehouse, whether via courier or picked up by the customers are brand new unopened sealed boxed items. A possible cause of the issue could be related to incorrect assembly or installation of the item. (Please Note: all our items are QC checked at the factory) It is important to mention that we have been in this business for more than 2 decades and we have a well established service team and delivery and installation professionals. Having your item professionally delivered and setup may cost a bit extra but eradicates the possibility of any incorrect installation and would provide you with the peace of mind that your item has been setup by a professional to factory specifications. Regards, Just Fitness Team!Hmm incorrect assembly. The majority of the assembly had been done before if was packaged. All i had to do was unfold it, put on the handles and plug it in. It didn't work. I was not the cause of the malfunction. It wss faulty equipment.
Bought a treadmill just before xmas and was delivered in 3 days - great! Assembled and trialled it straight away. Speed felt a bit slow so I did some measuring and found that the belt with no weight on it is on average 20% below set speed.
They have sent me a replacement console, got worse.
Then they sent a replacement speed control board, still no good.
Been going on now for over seven weeks with no resolution in sight. Next step, ACCC.
Avoid this company like the plague.

we have bought a commercial Ignite treadmill for as we were told it was a full commercial model, emergency button
broke off when in use it was reported as an incident, when we contacted the head office they ask us to pay the call out charges and repair charges it was under warranty they did not accept that. This business has no customer satisfaction policy and they should go out of business as how they are treating customers, another bad review

One delivery driver was incapable of lifting the equipment and subsequently smashed a tile in our hallway. When I called and spoke to the Director [name removed]. I was told its nothing to do with him and the tile was weak. Apparently I signed a waiver saying they were not responsible. Could this of been when his saleswoman kept talking incessantly and informed me I was signing to say I was happy to accept floor stock!!! Avoid at all costs because if the crash into your house they are not responsible. Most unprofessional people with terrible customer service skills. After contacting Vcat they have advised to claim compensation from the company or employee.

I bought a tread mill from this company 2 years ago and the thing started to fall apart just 6months later, husband had to tighten a few screws ect... I called them to complain they didn't want to know about it. They didn't return calls, emails so eventually gave up and the treadmill ended up in the garage and then in the tip. Do yourself a favour and save your money, don't waist a cent on this company, they are the worst, and I know other people who have had a bad experience the good reviws are people they know I've been told.

I brought a treadmill online on a Sunday and had it at my house by Wednesday. That is the fastest goods have arrived when I buy stuff online. The treadmill is fantastic. All up great experience.

I bought an ignite folding exercise bike two months ago from Just Fitness, Bayswater. It was priced at $128.00 reduced from $499.00, what a joke! The piece of rubbish only lasted one week, used only thirty minutes daily before the flimsy magnetic drive belt shredded and snapped. Now it's nothing more than a cheap clothes rack. If you want to throw your money away on cheap products, they're awesome!

I went to Heidelberg store and was served by one individual. They rude and not helpful at all.
I then went to the Epping store and was surprised by the contrast! I bought a rower of a guy would recommend him. The other person working with him seemed nice too.
This is by far the worst place I have ever delt with. The customer service was apauling, would not answer messages and guess what still the $377 dollar trampoline has not turned up. Thanks

I purchased a power USA multi gym and have had trouble from day one. The pulleys had ceased up and were cheap. I had to call the store to have them all replaced. The steal tore, cables plastic tore, metal inserts broke and plastic caps all were out. The product is very cheap. Overall the product was bad.
I attempted to buy an exercise bike (977.95 in total), almost 3 full weeks ago. They said it would ship in 3 days. It hasn't. Called them on day 14, they said it would ship the next day. It is now almost day 19, still nothing.
Every review I can find on this places service is beyond revolting.
All e-mails are totally ignored; all phone calls are handled in a "dodge-and-stall" routine. I ended up opening a dispute with PayPal.

Make sure you pay them through PayPal, as that is the only, real way you stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting your money back in any capacity.Just finished talking with the manager, who was very polite and apologetic, but I was still given excuses. He did agree to refund me, after the 3rd time I asked. I won't close the PayPal dispute until I receive the full refund, however.
I bought a treadmill in November and I still can't use it. The console and the base are 2 different models and can't be connected. After being told to just loosen the arms and stretch them out to accommodate the console, which is did not do, I was refused a refund and was told I just had not followed the instructions properly. I took the matter to the department of fair trading and was told that they point blank refuse to refund my money, so I am now going to the tribunal. I have sent numerous emails to the manager and he has not acknowledged a single one, disgraceful. my recommendation is people should avoid Just fitness all together.

Their service guys from their head office have had to come out to my place 8 times now, i have spent hundreds of $ replacing everything they told me I need to, despite believing it was their mistake and hours of work time given up and I still don't have a working treadmill. They have stood in my house yelling at me that I was a liar until I had to ask them to leave. They keep making silly mistakes and having to come out to fix them again. It has been over 2 months with a pointless piece of junk taking up room in my house. I have been waiting for a call from their manager but keep being told she will call back. Talk about disgraceful service. I have bought 2 exercise machines from them so far and never will again.
I bought a C300 Nordictrack treadmill 3 weeks ago and after 8 days I received a broken treadmill. I contacted them straightaway and advised them of this with photos. They referred me to their service department and they only offered me repair. It really sucks to pay 1700 bucks and have to use a repaired product from the day one. I have done lots of online shopping for even bigger items and had never any trouble for replacement of damaged/faulty items but this business doesn't value the customers at all. They normally avoid any written communication so they don't get in trouble with their terrible customer service. I recommend you spend more and deal with descent businesses.

I bought a rower online. It was delivered in a box and I had to self-assemble it. I found the assembly easy enough but it took me over four hours including having to drive to the shop to get a replacement part. It had a crushed computer cable (the replacement cable could have been mailed to me but I wanted the assembly done in a day so I drove to them with the half assembled rower and got the part supplied/fitted). After assembly I realized the product was faulty. 20 + phone calls later I am still waiting for the equipment to be repaired. I have been promised/guaranteed a call from their service contractor. on at least 8 occaissions ....still waiting ! I have asked for a refund & conviniently both Directors are OS & no-one is able to make a decision ! Purchased this over the internet after seeing that it comes with a free biozone heartrate monitor and watch that other competitors just couldn't match. So i thought, bargain and went ahead with the purchase. A day later, got a call and was told delivery will be in 7 days between 10 and 2. So i took leave to attend to the delivery but, on that day at 12, was told they are out of stock! Ok so it was after long weekend so i thought i'd take it on the chin and get on with it. Anyway, once the package was delivered, it did not come with the biozone heartrate monitor and watch as advertised. Be careful with these guys, they false advertise just to get your business!

Bought an exercise bike a few months ago from the Just Fitness Heidelberg Store. I really like the bike which suited my needs. The salesman was helpful. One problem - the Bike didn't have a drink bottle holder(I should have noticed it at the time) I rang up and mentioned this to the store manager who gave me one for free. I think they are only a few dollars, but it was a nice gesture. Overall it was a nice experience with good customer service - couldn't fault the whole process except the air con could have been it bit cooler!(it was a pretty hot day)

Happy with treadmill & thanks for free delivery. I didn't realise the treadmill came is such a big box, so if you get one, be prepared to help the delivery guy. All in all a good experience. Only issue: I was told delivery would be 3 days but it came a day late.

Delivery was timely, the product was reasonable quality for the price paid and the advice over the phone was spot on. Speaking to one of the gentleman over the phone, I got to know they have been in the business for 22 years and sold half a million items, a handful of bad reviews don't matter. February 15th 2017 Update: 3rd Purchase from Just Fitness I purchased my 3rd piece of equipment from Just Fitness. Got a special deal as a returning customer. The delivery took place within 2 working days. Now my personal home gym is finally complete. Free Delivery & good treadmill Took 4 days for delivery instead of 3- 4 reviews

I would have thought good business practice was to remind people when they plan on taking money out of your account.
I hired a bike for the winter months (3 months in total). They then debited my account for an additional month without checking. It's probably in their T&C's that they can do this - but poor service.
Even though, I've paid for an extra month - they need to pick it up almost 2 weeks before it expires. Brilliant!

Decide to buy a supposedly reputable machine and chose the Tanturi F30R based on online reviews, perceived quality, and it seemed to be in many stores so we assumed that after sales service was not going to be a problem. The machine worked well for the first 12 - 18 months, but the dinky little power supply kept getting trodden on and damaged, and the cord breaks very easily. This did not worry me too much as I managed to splice it back together each time, and each time it got a little shorter.

Read moreed it in after 18 months...not covered by warranty! We approached just fitness, the store from which we bought the unit, and they quoted $218 to replace the unit and a 6 week wait. We looked around to see if we could get the unit repaired locally but with no luck so decided to proceed with the new unit. 9 weeks later the unit arrived after many phone calls and false promises only to find it was wrong. So back we went. Just fitness did not believe us until we were made to bring the old unit so that they could compare the differences, at which point they asked to keep the old unit so they could send it with the new unit back to Tanturi. At that point we were again promised that it would not be more than 2 weeks and everything would be sorted. Now it has been over 4 weeks with no contact from anyone and no display unit, new or old. We have other NordicTrack equipment (from WorkoutWorld) which is faultless and I will stay with them in the future. Waste of $2500.... Bad service, no product knowledge, dishonestStill waiting for correct part....And don't post negativevcommentsmon their facebook page, they delete them.
