Kaboodle rubbish
Kaboodle push to close drawers
Designed to fail !!!
I have replaced all push to close runners 4 times now over $1500 worth of runners they last about one month before they drawers stay open and don’t close !!
A steel striker runs over a plastic mechanism and the rear and wears down in no time !!!
causing you to buy a new runner and same thing !!
Now I’m at the point where the chipboard carcass are stripped due to replacing the runners so many times. ...

Problem solved
Our kitchen was measured and supplied by Bunnings. Assembly was done by myself. Overall very happy with the experience and end result. Only negative was a problem about 12 months later with the soft close drawer runners. Contacted Kaboodle and they resolved the problem immediately by replacing the drawer runners. No argument or confrontation they couldn't do enough to help. Very happy with end result and the way I was treated by service team. Good value.

Great Quality Products
I built a kitchen from scratch using Kaboòdle everything went according to plan with the help of the kitchen specialist at my local Bunnings store i would highly recommend this to anyone with a small degree of diy skill.

Don’t do it!!!!
We had our quote done through Bunnings and the got it wrong every step
Of the way. Measurements were off, it looked like Frankenstein mess by the end because bunnings just don’t have any attention to detail.

Great warranty support
Our vinyl wrap kitchen started to change color approximately 9 years after installation but was otherwise in as new condition. I called Kaboodle about the problem and they acknowledged the problem and confirmed that they would replace the entire kitchen and pay for the re-installation. They provided a catalog of all the new colors and kitchen finishes that I could choose from and asked me to get 3 quotes for the install. I now have a new kitchen and it looks great! Thanks Kaboodle for the great support!

Excellent value, great service.
I have installed cupboards & benchtops in a kitchen and a large utility room. Delivery was quick & the assembly & installation was simple with clear instructions in each pack. The rooms have been occupied for 3 years and perform well & look as good as when first installed. I made a warranty claim on some of the doors and the matter was dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently. Happy

More than happy
I designed and installed my Kaboodle kitchen cabinets with no experience and no help. The result was beyond my expectations.
The online kitchen design app was easy to use and helped me plan, budget and visualize my kitchen. Bunnings staff helped the process along beautifully.
I managed to put together my dream kitchen, despite having had no experience assembling or installing kitchen cabinets.
I'm writing this review because I think it's important to give credit where credit is due. I'm pretty sure that installing a Kaboodle kitchen myself, saved me about 10k and added around 30k to the sale price of my apartment.

Looks great NOW but we've had our problems.
There are too many faults to go into - dicky hingers, laminate lifting at bench top joints etc. However the Kaboodle service guy was excellent to deal with and all is now fixed at their expense. Bunnings were hopeless and hand balled the problem very quickly to Kaboodle.
The cost saving was worth the disruption but take care!

Very disappointing
Started the process in end of October 2020 now at July 2021 and don’t have a functioning kitchen. No water, power bench tops etc.
Very disappointing. They promised the word delivered an atlas. They still can’t tell me when they will finish it.

She'll be right mate!
Kaboodle kitchen kits highlight everything that's wrong with Australian built products. She'll be right mate, it's close enough. I had to use Kaboodle as part of a kit home I owner/built. The kit looked promising to start with. Good design process and finish choices were broad. I can see how someone can easily be convinced they could save money with this kit. Here's the problem however. From an installation POV these kits are problematic and builders will need to charge more to install as a result. Pre-drilling tolerances are poor so panels don...
Read more't always line up meaning I needed to pre-drill replacement holes and realign. 3 out of my 4 end panels had scratches and markings that wouldn't come out with cleaning. I ended up taking 2 back for replacement and used one where it wouldn't be seen. One cabinet kit had a broken panel even though the box looked fine so I can only presume it was broken before packing. There are numerous little 'chips' found across the panels and these needed a water proof adhesive applied so they wouldn't cause problems later on. Ironically all of these kits had a 'quality check' sticker applied to them! What are they actually quality checking for god's sake? And don't try and remove the sticker as that is just a PITA to clean up. There are so many areas where you (the installer) need to do most of the work - fitting front panels on drawers for instance. These could easily be pre-drilled along with handle holes but aren't, so you need to carefully align everything and do a lot of drilling to finish. The oven cabinet includes two strips of metal that appear to be a last minute addition as they do not install nicely. The only way to have them hold properly is to use a high strength heat resistant epoxy. After reading some of the other reviews I decided to coat the bare particle board ends with a water-proof adhesive to stop water destroying the cabinets. I'm yet to find out how the kitchen will fare long term but from some of the other reviews I'm not holding my breath. My advice would be to check how much an equivalent Ikea kitchen will cost and if it's less than 20% more expensive, go for it. You'll save the money on the install.- 5 reviews

Only Excellent things to say about this company
We bought a self install kitchen from Bunnings. After almost 10 years two of the hinges of the corner cupboards failed. We went back to Bunnings to try to purchase. Absolutely showed No interest whatsoever, no help. One of the team members after our 3rd exasperated visit looking for a similar item to buy, mentioned the hinges and fittings etc (maybe the complete kitchen?) came from Kit and Kaboodle. We emailed them. We didn't expect much after the Bunnings experience...Not a bit of it. The lovely man there, got onto it and within ten days sent new hinges. Wait for it...gratis...Brilliant Brilliant service. Who offers this level of service these days?? No one. Well these people do...
How is this for customer satisfaction
Went to bunnings to view Kaboodle kitchens. Told by two of the sales people that they could meet my request of replacing kitchen doors. I was given a range of profiles and colours to choose from. Here we go, pay $99 and we will send out someone to measure and quote. Three weeks later I get a miss call that he was coming Monday at 12 noon for a measure up. I am sending you an email prior to the meet for you to fill out. Just fill in the form as to which items you want. "HELLO' doors as I discussed with the salespeople. Things went into overdri...
Read moreve on the inspection eve. Sorry, but we don't sell doors for replacement. I am cancelling our meet and Bunnings will be in touch with a refund. That's not what I was told and that is not what their online info says. All I want to do is liven up my kitchen doors so that I can get a price on my house to sell. I waited over three weeks for them to decide whether they replace doors or not. Like most people I read the reviews after the event. Now I believe the negative reviews. Bunnings are you sure that you are an efficient Aussie company.- 2 reviews
I am absolutely happy with the product and services!
I was surprised by the negative comment in this post and was initially reluctant to go with Bunnings. But both my wife and I are very happy with the decision we made. Right from the start to the end the process was very smooth, predictable, enjoyable and within the estimated budget. Bunnings did an excellent job. After the initial phone call made to Bunnings we were directed to visit one of their bigger showrooms in Midland. There, we were met by a lady who was more than helpful, caring and friendly. The design was great. The tradesmen we got w...

Run away as far as you can from Kaboodle Kitchens its still not refunded/fixed.
Ordered our Kitchen in January 8k kitchen and 5k installation also other trades with Plumbing and Electrical about 4k we were in the hole for approximately 17k we also had spent another 12k on appliances so roughly a 30k experience for us.
We got it installed in March by Bunnings Kitchen recommended Installer, and we found thirty faults in our thermo formed doors and panels after Installation.
We were filthy by this stage and got Bunnings and Kaboodle involved in a rectification plan and it was agreed after a lot of toing and throwing that we...
Read more would give them another chance to fix it. We were assured by Kaboodle that all the new panels and doors would be quality checked and assured us that the product would be perfect. The troubles started after we started to ask when they expected to arrive and when they would arrange for the Bunnings recommended Installer to fit it.Disappointing product and service
Doors are a poor fit to the cabinets. The gaps between each door including corner doors are far too large.
Many back and forth emails with customer service to be told I haven’t adjusted the doors correctly. I am a licensed tradesman and building supervisor so I haven’t come down in the last shower.
I could not recommend their product based on my experience.
$15.300 disappointment
Kanoodle quite quickly replaced our first bench tops as fine tears were appearing in numerous sections of all 3 tops. These appeared within 14 months of installation.
3 smallish bubbles have appeared on one of the replacement tops which Kaboodle has told me can happen and sorry for the inconvenience. My reading suggests t is probably a lack of adhesive where the bubbled have appeared. I have had 40 years of laminated kitchen bench tops and know their limitations.
The drawer and door closes are of a poor quality and invariably the drawers need...
Hats off to the kaboodle customer service team
About 8 years ago we installed a kaboodle kitchen after going through a Bunnings expert and working through the digital kitchen builder. From early last year a few frequently used hinges of corner cupboards and push to open drawers began to malfunction.
Since the products were still under warranty, I contacted the kaboodle customer service. After complying with their request for a copy of the invoice and pictures of the kitchen I did not have long to wait to receive the necessary replacements.
Hats off to the kaboodle customer service team who also provided me with a tip on using corner cupboard wheels to keep the weight off the hinges to make them last.
Bench top laminate quality extremely bad.
My sons moved into a deceased estates house and the family had installed a kaboodle kitchen. I had recently sold my cabinet making business and I could see that the cabinets were installed properly plumb and level but the gloss laminate tops had probably thousands of scratches throughout. Working in the industry for so long I know the good brands of laminate just don’t do that no matter how rough you are with them . I went to Bunnings to discuss and rang the customer help line and they said because they couldn’t tell who installed it they couldn’t help which is pretty typical, although the entire kitchen was supposed to be brand new, appliances and cabinetry they still refused to even look.
Dissatisfied
Doors fallen off drawer runner jamming up
Corner hinges spreading bout 2 years old. Would not recommend this product. Very disappointed.
Terrible, do not waste your time!
Sat in store with a the apparent Bunnings expert who went through and ordered everything as per the digital kitchen builder. Ended up with a estimated delivery date of 12/12/2020 fast forward to mid January 2021 we finally received our first delivery which was missing entire sections of cabinetry and end panels. Seems the cabinets were missing the ended up cutting an incorrect bench top. When we raised the issue with Bunnings there response seemed to be of concern and very apologetic until they sent through a completely incorrect plan again and...
Read more after we had radio silence. Once we finally got hold of the personnel we were dealing with they laughed about our plight like it was some kind of joke. The date is 26/03/21 and after 5 incorrect deliveries and countless hours standing around in store, because no one cares until you’re in front of them, we finally have a finished kitchen and never plan on using Bunnings special orders or kaboodle ever again. If you want cabinetry, pay a small local business who will take pride in their work and customer service.Extra Information
