Unfortunately it is no longer available. I understand that a multi national bought this company then stopped producing this fantastic product. A great pity indeed.
It's made in Australia by Colgate Palmolive. I'm cross about it being discontinued also. I wish I had taken up the offer of buying 6 at a time at a reduced cost at Grays on Line.

Why would they discontinue such an amazing product? I have searched high & Low but seems it's completely off the market.Nothing else really works as I have tried them all.

I agree. It is probably because it was taking sales away from one of the Multinational's business, "so let's buy them out and close them down" (perhaps).
I wish I could find a comparable product.
My parents owned the company, they sold it in 1989 to Colgate-Palmolive, they kept it going for a while. We haven't seen it for years.

I am fairly sure that one of the large international companies bought it out and then closed it down, much like Alan Bond did with Powers Bitter beer when he owned Swan lager. Very sad because it is or was a superb product. Incidentally so was Powers Bitter

Some IGA supermarkets, one in Mt Waverley and The Cleaning Shop in Kew.
I rang the phone number on the Karpet tin, and they said it has been discontinued (due to lack of sales). So if you do see it, buy in bulk!
Do you have the telephone number for this please ? If we all kept calling them maybe they might bring it back.I had the number but not any longer so would appreciate it. Thankyou Carol
