This company is a joke
I wouldnt even give 1 star if I had that option. This company is a joke. I sent several emails and called numerous times and every single time they conveniently lost all my information and couldn't find my account for my replacement parts. [name removed] was the one I was dealing with for the 2 weeks I kept calling and emailing and he confirmed that he got my information and that I would hear back within 48 hours. A week goes by and nothing. I call back and talk to a different person and they can't find any of my information or emails yet again...Read more
. Everything I sent 2 different times just gone!!! How does this happen when [name removed] confirmed over the phone that he was looking at my email? Unless he conveniently deleted it So I end up having to go through the whole process yet again with a new person. This guy named [name removed] says he got all my information back in and will be sending my parts in about 2-3 weeks. I will now be waiting a total of 4-5 week from the start of this process to even get the part to get to use my storage container bc it came completely broken out of the box. This process has taken way to long and is completely unacceptable in my option. I will never use this company again. They are to much of a headache to deal with and their customer service sucks.
Purchased in April 2021 at Lowes for A$95.00.

Poor quality product.
The storage shed side was damaged on arrival, however I patched that up rather than try and send the unit back. However the roof has basically sheared where the hinges are located and the whole roof has warped and discoloured in the sun. Not fit for purpose is my view. I certainly can not recommend this product to anyone with my experiences to date.
Purchased for A$800.00.

ith us. We have sold hundreds of these and they are in use all over Australia and I can assure you your problem is not common. Your hinges look bent, I dont think its the lid that is warped.The hinges are fine, as I have removed them to allow the lid to lie flat. I have duck taped all the tears and holes to make the lid water proof as best I can. At present the lid is simply lying on top... Read more

Poor product, non-existent customer service
Bought a shed last year. The product was fine for a few months but then the top panel started to warp allowing the rain in. Gotten progressively worse. After trying to fill in a the form on their website the site said it's not working at this time (for a while now). So I contacted Keter Australia a few times with absolutely no response. Their product seems pretty poor and the customer service is totally shocking. Couldn't recommend them at all. With no response from Keter, I'm still trying to figure out how to get this product sorted out - its too big to return to the place of purchase

Keter factor 8 x 11 garden shed
I purchased this shed from Bunnings and was it delivered undamaged with no pieces missing.. Its quite an ingenious construction. The panels look a bit flimsy but when erected it is quite strong. A couple of problems with it. The ad says no slab required but the first instruction in the handbook says lay a concrete slab.I didn't lay one but it does need to be dead level so the doors close and the panels are straight..The door hinges are rubbish I cant see them lasting out the Lifetime warranty..I did the whole job on my own without help and it t...Read more
ook a week to erect. The roof panels were the most difficult to do. Whatever you do don't take them out of the box until they are ready to be installed. If you get the slightest bend in them you cant slide them into the grooves. I had that problem with one panel and ended up cutting it in half and joining it again when up. It reminds me of those construction kits of battleships I used to do as a kid. Guttering as an optional extra would be good though. All in all don't expect it to look exactly like the picture in the brochure.. Ingenious design by Israeli Manufacturers..The instructions were easy to follow. Product delivered damaged!
Do not buy. Ordered the Keter storage shed Grande. Shed parts damaged. Sent email, nothing, not a thing has been done. It has been over 2 months. Assembly of product proved to be a pain in the neck. Would not buy from them again. It would seem that they don't stand by their own products.

Great value - long term thinking
Expectations are rarely met because at most times we expect perfection - this is not a solid resin pre-fab, if it was you would be paying 4 x as much, when you 1st unpack your impression may be that the panels appear weak or flimsy however as you progress through the construction you will find that at each stage the engineering balances that.

a "tinny" together the average cost for labour is $1.200 and that's without the foundation" this job took 5 hours at a cost of $ 275.00. In comparison a Keter shed seems more expensive than a "tinnie" but given the longer labour of a 'tinnie' and long term benefit of resin, as in no rust + good air flow = no condensation for stored metal tools and other equip + visual appeal, I'm a bit OCD but I'm rapt with the purchase and would recommend - keep in mind as reality is a few minor flaws but the visual finished product as opposed to 'tinnies' is to me a better option, I'm trying to have a argument with my wife just so I can have a sleep out : )Similar opinion? There cupboards are cheep rubbish!!
Bought one of there plastic cupboards which was poorly finished, rough edges etc.
Broke whilst putting together,doors didn't align and the panels where warped.
Do not buy this expensive poor quality rubbish.
No luck in trying to contact the company and no luck with dealing with there reseller.
Avoid wasting your money.

8x6 Keter shed
Arrived promptly when expected good communication on delivery. Started putting this together bag of washers missing to put the Base together. Rang keter on hold for 30mins then cut off. Their website would not allow you to contact on line. Eventually managed to send an email on [email protected]. Still no response. Building the shed without them. After spending £500 on a shed disappointing these parts were missing and vital to start building the shed. Wasted more than 1 hour trying to contact them. Poor customer service. Only the roof to put on now. But le9vel Base needed as this is the 2nd attempt at erecting the shed. Some of the panels are a little warped.

Sturdy good looking storage shed
I bought this shed from Bunnings a few years ago and have been pleased with it ever since. It's a good looking shed and stores everything securely. However it was actually tricky to put together, so it was lucky I had someone handy who was doing it for me. Even so it took a lot longer than the instructions suggested it would take. A couple of pieces were a little bent and we bent them back to the right shape - but that would be an inconvenience if you were unable to do so. I didn't have a concrete slab so we laid pavers down on the area beforehand and this worked out well.

Hard to put together, some pieces arrived bent in the box

Great DIY shed
I bought this shed online through eBay and it was delivered by Cheap Sheds in 2 days ( Brisbane Metro). Fantastic customer service with speedy delivery. Well done Cheap Sheds.
The shed itself was easy to build and I did most of it on my own, apart from screwing down the roof panels which requires someone holding down the roof panel from the outside while another person works inside with a screwdriver. I had it finished in a 4 hours. All the parts are well labelled and Instructions are clear and concise.

w To Build" video(s) while waiting for delivery because this makes it so much easier to follow the instructions. I built my shed on a 20cm compacted base of drainage gravel as it will house a model railway for my father and I need it to be very dry inside. The flooring panels have bedded in after a few days of foot traffic so there is no more crunching sound underfoot. It appears the roof 'gutter' may direct water onto walls and external part of the floor panels so I may have to seal the wall floor joint or attach a proper gutter to redirect the water. As for the construction...Plastic "flash" from the molding process was mostly cleaned off but I did have to do a little myself. All the parts fitted together easily but, as per instructions, the site must be perfectly flat and level or the roofing sections wont come together with the walls. I had this problem but because I erected it on gravel a few movements of the shed back and forth leveled everything up. The roof panels are black so get quite hot under the Australian midday sun. It would be good if they were a lighter colour to reflect some of the heat. As an experiment Ive attached white corflute sheets to the roof and insulated inside the shed on the sun exposed side so we can work inside during the day. Results yet to be determined.1 comment

Very Functional Garden Shed
i wouldnt buy anythinmg but Keter sheds, this is the second one i purchased. you dont need a concrete slab... it is water proof, and the way the floor and everything fits together you hardly any spiders and definitly havent seen any mice or rats in there.... and very simple to assemble.
it was very easy to make it happen, didnt need to get concretors in to do a slab and only took me 3 hours to install
wasnt exactly cheap but the old saying goes.... you get what you pay for, i would say it was good value for money but not cheap.

I have just bought an Oakdale Keter shed and as usual, the customer response is average at best.
I am considering installing a small wall AC and TV on separate end walls and was wondering about the load or weight bearing capacity?

I shouldnt think a tv is a good idea on a plastic shed its not meant to be load bearing.. It is suiitable as a garden shed but probably not to live in.The air conditioner is probably not suitable due to fire risk.

I dont know.Instructions reccomend staking it down but we are in South Australia and dont get cyclones.If Bunnings sell them in Queensland then they probably are ok but check with them before buying.The floor has holes to bolt it down through. Same would apply to any shed I would think. From what I have seen even houses get blown away so you have to take a chance I think.

Hi Peter and for anyone else watching, Geoffs' answer is pretty good. If well anchored these are very strong, they are rated to 105 KMH.
