Bad radio reception
I have kia cerato 2016 with touchscreen radio panel. The radio reception doesn't work since i bought it. I rang the dealership many times and they keep on saying that this problem is from manufacture and they cant fix this. I took car took car to them twice also but got same reply that they cant fix it as this is problem from manufacture. Fed up with that now.

Fatastic, comfortable, responsive and great value.
Purchased October 2016, my Kia Cerato S Premium is an absolute pleasure to drive. Good fuel economy and very comfortable, with all the extras such as auto lights, auto door locking, rear camera, GPS Sat Nav included. A software update fixed my problem with the AV unit cutting out intermittently. In Econ mode, the engine noise is a bit high when shifting down a gear. Overall, an excellent car for the price with the added bonus of the 7 year warranty and fixed price servicing. I'll definately be looking at the Cerato again when it is time to update.
Purchased in October 2021 for A$22,800.00.

Brilliant car
Ditched the european car and will never buy another. If someone told me 5 years ago that I would love a Kia more than any other car I have had I would have laughed at them, but it has been excellent. Pleasure to drive over short or long distances. Not a thing has gone wrong except for the Sat Nav which packed it in recently and was quickly replaced under warranty. Servicing isn't exactly a bargain, but at least being capped we know what we are in for. Looking forward to getting a larger Kia sometime soon.

Good car with bad fuel milage
I own a brand new KIA cerato 2016. The car is fine with very few complaints. The worst part is shocking fuel milage compared to other similar cars. I live in Sydney and do mostly city runs and struggle to get anything below 10ltrs/100km. Highway run has been very good with as low as 5ltrs/100km.

LOVE IT!!!
Have had my top of the range Kia Cerato Sedan for a year now. Love it!
Have not had any issues. Services have gone perfectly at Northern Motors Greensborough.
Comfortable, smooth and very stylish.
Love all the added extras, seat warmers, and seat cooler, navigation system, Bluetooth, sun roof.
Perfect car for me.
Lots of room and the kids in the back are not squished in.
Will only ever buy a KIA again.

Excellent vehicle - spoiled by inferior GPS and screen placement
February 2022. Still going very well. Mainly long distance driving over the last six months - 600k on weekends to a new house we're working on) No complaints, vehicle remains very tight, no rattles amd MPG is excellent around 5.9l per 100k on long runs. (We cruise at 110k usually and our total mileage is 120,000k) St Nav works fine. Considering the latest model. Will test drive soon. Highly recommended vehicle.
Summary, October 2018. Vehicle has performed excellently. Only regular servicing and has clocked up 80,000k, mainly long distance driv...Read more
ing. Economy ex-city averages around 5.5 to 6.5 litres per 100 - usually with a heavy load. Vehicle remains tight, no rattles or squeaks. Now considering purchasing the latest model (2019?) - waiting to see what KIA produces. All round this vehicle has been value for money, comfortable, economical and reliable. One of the best cars I've owned since my first back in 1965 (EH Holden) May 6. Finally some action thanks to Sunshine Motors, Gold Coast. GPS/Media unit was replaced with the new version and to date works fine. (The new version comes with an adapter harness so that it can be retrofitted into the earlier model - I have been told that some KIA agents refuse to fit the system using the excuse of "incompatible cables and plugs". I suggest this is not true and another example of KIA Australia trying to avoid their warranty obligations. ) Even the screen is more tolerant of bright light - I suspect it's a daylight screen vs the old box brownie viewer version of the original. KIA Australia weren't much help, refusing to admit the obvious (read text). Map updates are scheduled to be made available annually for the Apple/Google system (Plus you can run yr iphone or Android phone's GPS into the dash screen) the old system hasn't had updates since 2013. One question this raises is, how will existing legacy units be updated? Maps appear to be all 2013 versions and if the manufacturer is discontinued, how will existing users get map updates? There's a huge area along the NSW east coast Pacific Highway that's near completion, and will require updating - with KIA's legacy system, one finds the vehicle meandering through cow pastures and fording streams. KIA should bight the bullet and upgrade every vehicle that has the legacy system - or are we going to see a rerun of the VW saga? Over to you on this KIA.Purchased in November 2021 for A$21,000.00.
