Fantastic little car
We brought our Rio two months ago. So far I am completely impressed by every part of the car. Though yes she occasionally struggles up hills until the gears kick in yet at other times she takes off like a rocket. The car is roomy and super quite and extremely fuel efficient. In two months I've only put 40 dollars in her and yet have driven it regularly. The interior is comfortable and I like that it does not have all the gadgets and Gizmo's because I get to enjoy the drive rather then pressing buttons. Yet it has the right amount. sound system and a fantastic air-conditioning. It can be a little heavy on old or well worn roads. But that does not bother me at all. It is spacious inside and I have never felt cramped in. I feel good when I drive as I always know I'm protected by the 7 year warranty and fixed servicing. She handles great on the road and Motorways. The car is so easy to park. And slip by others when there is limited space to pass.I am very impressed and would recommend them to anyone wanting a reliable and efficient car who don't care for all the glitz and gadgets. Though the car has plenty.Purchased in March 2021 at Zupps for A$18,200.00.

Underpowered piece of crap
Got it as a loan car when my car is due for a new airbag. The automatic one is a piece of crap you need to use manual mode if you want better pickup on hill. The fuel consumption is terrible as well. I would say at least Toyota Echo and Daihatsu Sirion are better than that.

Great to drive
Our Kia Rio is a great sized car for us. We are able to use it as and when we like, small enough to park but large enough to take friends or family with us. Cheap to run and we love being able to play our music via the radio as well as having the ability of Bluetooth.

Real World Review of the New 2017 Kia Rio Manual
So we have owned our New model Kia Rio for about four months now and we have done some real driving in it and have just ticked over 9000 kms, our most recent trip was to Nowra from Brisbane and back for the Christmas holidays to see family. Now there is a lot to like about this new Rio but also a lot to dislike as well and I'm not sure the likes outweigh the dislikes but here goes.
We bought this because we wanted a small reasonably priced car and the new Rio caught our eye. Ours is the base model in white because its a manual and the 2 models...Read more
