I threw it away
This was the worst purchase I made. I needed a new grinder, as my old sunbeam had a cracked lid. Being Kitchen aid I thought this would be a quality product,I don't think it is. Firstly the grind is very inconsistent, secondly the finest of the grind gets stuck or clogged up under the blades and takes a lot of effort to get out. Because the container is so deep it's very difficult to clean and whats worse I was able to remove the lid to check the grind with the blades still spinning which resulted in an eruption of coffee. I ended up throwing it to the back of the cupboard and persisting with my broken sunbeam.
